Caroline got a final revision and now she looks more in line with the personality I've written up for her. I think she ended up looking a lot like Holly's brown eyed cousin, but that's not a bad thing <3 It's the seven structure and the hair that does it.

Well, thank you. I guess I'm just a bit picky when it comes to my FemSheps.
Wow! Caroline is lovely. I think the longer hair suits her. She has a very natural, yet beautiful look. I hope she sticks around. Now that you mention it, she does look like she could be related to Holly. It would be cool to see them in a picture together. I think you did an amazing job with Caroline, I adore her.

Thanks so much! Being able to tone down the makeup in Gibbed makes all the difference, it's a subtle change but it made all the difference to me. I think I'll keep her around, seeing as I've written a rather detailed timeline and background fic for her
And regarding a Holly/Caroline pic...I have to make that now because Caroline is major-renegado in contrast to paragon Holly. Hrmmm. IDeas!

ELE is right - Moira looks great in that screenie. She takes that smirk animation and works it!
@ELE: Great job on Caroline - I am really digging the re-touched casual outfit.
BTW, I thought I'd draw people's attention to JeanLuc761's High Resolution Texture Mods for the PC. Basically he's manually upscaling the textures of the companions, and the results are quite impressive. So far he's released Tali, Jacob and Miranda(both normal and loyalty outfits) and it looks great. He's also done an upscaled version of the Cerberus Officer uniform, and the newest version of Lia is using that nonstop. So much nicer than the 512x512 version that BioWare shipped (dudeShep gets 1024x1024, grr!). He's said that he'll definately try working on femShep's Kasumi outfit, but he's not sure if he could do anything about the skin textures, since he doesn't have much experience in this area. It would take some kind of skin-texture genius to help him out in that area, do we have one of those in this thread?

Got to thinking about FemShep in the tradition of female protagonists in science fiction, did some quick "To
the Cloud!" research, and threw together a blog post about it:
FemShep In Context
Hope you enjoy it. Comments and critiques welcomed!
(Yes, it's long, but you know that about me. [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/whistling.png[/smilie])
Why Bioware continue to refuse to acknowledge their own creation, with regards to femshep is something I find more than a little odd. They made the choice to include a female version of Shepard when they planned the
games, so why put all that effort in to something to then ignore it? How many games have an iconic female lead who's every bit the equal of a male protagonist and looks like a real woman, and not a walking pair of giant boobs with a perfect hour glass figure?
I'm obviously biased, but femshep adds something a bit special to Mass Effect in my opinion, that makes it stand out from the crowd. Lots of games let you save the day, world, galaxy, as, in most cases, a generic white guy with brown hair. Very few let you do the same with a female character.
Do I think Bioware/EA's stance will change with regards to marketing femshep? Probably not, which is a shame. They've got the best female character in gaming for me and they've locked her in the basement for fear of upsetting the apple cart.
Of course if they want to prove me wrong I'm more than happy to eat my own words.
On a lighter note: Smiling femsheps.

Moi?! See I can be cheeky too. Shepard's skin textures I'm not terribly familiar with because they're not static 'painted on' skins. I've seen this mod though I have yet to give them a try. Some of the outfits really need it.

I hear ya - he's working on Garrus at the moment. I cannot wait to get my hands on that. ME2 Garrus armor textures make femShep sad.

Then I got bored doing it and decided 15 minutes ago I wanted to do something which resembled the death of the yellow guy on Sin City. Quick splatter and some text on top of the background.
