I hope this is the right thread for this, but I've always been a fan of the default femShep, and I now figured out that you can play ME in 3D with the free iZ3D codec. So if anyone has red/green glasses, here's a 3D Shepard. :)

3D?!  Now that is interesting. Unfortuantly I dont have any glasses so I will take you word for it :P

On a seperate note, its been 30 days since I uploaded my last femshep folder and its just about hit 500 downloads! Yay Thanks everyone!   I have more then enough content to upload another, but since the last one is still averaging almost 17 downloads a day soI will leave it for a while longer.  Plus it hasnt even been 150 pages yet since I uploaded it!!  Too much good content fills this thread and looks like a lot of people know it!!

But random facts for those interested and a big thanks from me.  There have been 1,908 individual downloads of all the zips burning a nice 212gb worth of mediafires Bandwidth!  Woop!

Well, you should buy some and play the game in 3D from now on. ;)

Here's Shepard in stereoscopic 3D:

Having poured over the ME1 save files, and UE3 engine files I don't think I can find a way to enable NPC hairstyles for Shepard. It's tantalizingly close when you can find headers with the same names as those in the Gibbed Editor, but without knowing where the corresponding entries are it's like looking for a needle in a haystack. Or looking for a 101 in a sea of almost identical binary several thousand entries long.

I dunno he'd be handy since I don't read binary in the context of UE3 file structure. I guess whatever hypothetical future Shep using that ME2 hair style will use a different one in ME1, as much of a stickler for visual continuity I can be the ME1 "version" of that style is just god awful looking. I wouldn't wish hair that bad on my worst enemy.

Maybe the person who greenlighted that mesh was the same guy who saw the Nobles with teal blush, orange eyeshadow and brown lipstick in Dragon Age and let them get in the release copy.

wow, thanks for all the advice, guys. i do have gimp, but i, too, find it very tricky to know where to start. it takes me a while to pick up on techie things. i think my shep and i share that trait. :P

Wow...this was exactly what I was looking for. I'm going to try to keep all of that in mind (including your blog post), thank you so much for the suggestions!

np! i can do screenshots alright now. it's the modding them that i want to tackle next.

and @ ELE: i LOVE what you did with the "cute" haircut there. i could never use that because of that hairline problem, even though it's such a classy, perfect hairstyle for a military girl, imo.  the classy cut is too long for me. if hair is on the back of my neck when working out, i have to pull it back. it's this weird thing for me, but i cannot play an avatar with hair that might make her neck sweat. i just can't do it. kyrie's hair is close, but not too long

Ah, I need to finish my current run so I can get back to my canon and try out the flycam stuff. It's one of my new year resolutions! =p Horribly distracted by the DA2 forum though since they just confirmed all four LIs for the game. Fan threads are exploding left and right. My current Shep -- about to import her into ME2 and pursue Gaaaaaarrus, woo.

Edit: Oh, I kept Ashley in this game because I really wanted to hear everything she had to say and know her better as a character. (She's fine.) It was a bit of a surprise in the end when deciding the council's fate because she was pro-saving humans and Garrus was pro-alien lives. In my canon game, it was Kaidan who was pro-alien lives and Garrus was all, "you're gonna sacrifice humans for THAT? Really?" It just took me by surprise. =p

PC snip

that lines decided about who you pick first at the squadmates screen. I've heard Ashley say they should save the ascension and wrex ask if it's wise to scrafice human lives for the council. it's interesting when Aliens say "don't save the council) especially Garrus and Liara.Posted Image

If I had picked Garrus first and Ashley second, would he have been in the front when Shepard comes out of the wreckage all alive and they're both looking up at her all relieved? Or would he have been in the background no matter what?

idk bout that, but the dialogue is the same as with the rachni. one agrees and one protests.

I think so I always pick Liara first and she's always at Shepard's side, but maybe LI characters just automatically get top billing regardless of order picked. Can't say for sure.

As far as I know, it's actually a fixed scale of Paragon-Renegade.  Unless you persuade them, Kaidan is the far Paragon, Ashley is the far Renegade, everyone else is in between.  Whoever is more paragon will offer up the paragon opinion and whoever is renegade will offer up the renegade opinion.

There are a few exceptions, though, like how Wrex will always argue for you to kill the rachni queen.

Er... carry on!

@Eshaye: It's a close call, but I'd say the top ones. They look like they'd emote a bit better.
