Keep playing with it, if ya are unsatisfied. . . And yes stepping away is a good idea! My last photo I posted underwent more changes to it. . (*whispers* I like the challenge sometimes!)
BTW Something that has helped me with photo edits has been to stop by various book stores and just browse though a few magazines or books with various photos in them . . . they can give you various ideas! (I sometimes mix and match!)
*thumbs up* on the pics!

Part of me wants to object that there are also girls who are relatively uninterested in character development... but yeah, the deck is stacked against me on this one. *sigh*KaryTyrrell wrote...

lol. well, good point. i find it not just character development, but consistency. shepard is not a stupid person. to not reflect on the only scientificly recorded resurrection EVER? - makes shepard seem a little dim, imo.

After all, this whole death has been wasted in my eyes.
I agree. But I feel like a lot of story and dialogue opportunities were missed in exchange for action and pacing and what have you. Mass Effect 2 is not a personal story. No introspection for you.
The few instances where it's addressed I can remember
- If you romance Jacob he asks how you're dealing with everything. Shep can express frustration that everyone's changed, but for her it's like no time has passed
- In LotSB Liara asks how Shep really feels about the situation. Shep can respond she's hopeful, worried, or frustrated. I love the frustrated response. Hell yes I'm frustrated, I'm being used by everyone around me and no one seems to care
A lot of people will never ever see these two dialogues either. One requires a Jacob romancing femShep and the other is DLC.
I feel almost compelled to fill in the blanks with fanfic, which works for me alright. I can get alot more detailed and personalized with fanfic at least.
One of my favorite details about Caroline was her first moments alone in her cabin on the SR2. She's still all scarred up from the surgeries, and she's looking over her body in the mirror and for the first time realizes all her previous tattoos are gone. Her entire back was essentially a memorial to Mindoir, she's had it for almost a decade, and wakes up to find this huge part of her identity gone. Initial feelings of shock, followed by rationalization (it's just skin, there are bigger things to worry about, at least I'm alive), followed by the bigger question of is this even my body anymore? What else has changed? Caroline's sense of humor dictates this is immediately followed by anger (damn all that work was expensive, over 50 gorram hours of work...I'm gonna kill Miranda.) And Shepard being Shepard, she just bottles all this up and soldiers on--the irreverant "I got better" Shepard we see in-game.

We find out in ME3 that Shep was brought back to life using some crazy Reaper tech and it's integral to the resolution of the story.
...or it was a giant pointless reset button that will never be addressed again.

A normal person with superhuman strength. Because I think she's stuck with that.
How about, "gets the apartment back and jaunts out to Pinnacle Station whenever"?

But a "normal" existence will be hard after ME3. She will undoubtedly be the most famous person in the Galaxy. The media will be hounding her more then the Royal Family! Those upgrades wont be going anywhere either, she will always have her physical power as well as the strong character we as a player have developed for her.
End result is finding a nice place in the middle of nowhere where you can relax and escape to the point where nothing in the universe matters. Just you and blueberry!

The remnants of the Alliance and Council will actively suppress all knowledge of Shepard's involvement to cover up their own inaction, and in turn she will fade into obscurity, her ultimate sacrifice a missing page in the history books.
I'm just kidding.

I really hope that isn't the case. I can just picture some final confrontation with Shepard mind jacking a Reaper and taking on Harbinger 1v1, or something equally ridiculous.
Well only time will tell I guess.

Nice pic of Inta'sei. Also, nice new avi.
Oh, and if anybody has good pics of the ship/apartment/cabin etc. I could borrow. I need some for when I try photoshop. So far, I suck. But, am really trying. Will post when I'm done...if I don't give up, or if it really sucks.

Same here, mostly. The only people I know that like Mass Effect are RPG crowd, all shooter fans I know think combat is OK, but they don't bother with the game because there is too much talking (and there are more than enough good cover shooters out there).
It seems to be a common complaint that Bioware sacrificed a lot of the original Mass Effect's RPG parts to please a new audience (shooter guys). I don't really think that's the case (I think it just improved gameplay immensly) because the FPS crowd I know even skip the cutscenes in a Call of Duty to get to the action faster. Marketing a dialogue-and-cutscene monster like Mass Effect to them is just a silly idea.
About the apartment from Pinnacle Station: Is that the Mako outside? Can you actually drive around in it or do you get beamed straight to your apartment?

Which is odd since the Reapers kill thousands of people without blinking an eye and I doubt they'd care about killing one person regardless of how "special" said person may or may not be. It would take millions of deaths to make a difference not one.

I want the apartment back on Intai'sei because it's awesome... plus I wanna take Thane there. XD
What I'd really like to see for Holly is that she get some peace. It seems like she's fought so hard for so long. On Mindoir, on Elysium, against Saren and the Geth, now The Collectors. Not to mention she fell in love with a dying man.
My ideal ending would be she somehow saves Thane and retires somewhere nice with him. No more fighting, no more death. That would be her dream.

Evie would definitely be a shooter fan. She doesn't have patience for lots of talking in her real life, let alone having the patience to do it in a video game. I imagine this scenario, for some reason...
::Garrus is playing a video game, Evie plops down next to him::
Evie: Whatcha playing?
Garrus: Dragon Effect 12
::Evie watches him play for 10 minutes and then gets bored::
Evie: Ugh, so much TALKING! Just kill something already.
Garrus: Hush, the king is telling me about the old lady who got kidnapped
Evie: Why do you care?
Garrus: ::long-suffering sigh:: She has the ancient key that I need to get into the mountain temple...
Evie: Booooooooring
Garrus: ... so I can awaken the sleeping god of ice so he can tell me where to find the...
Evie: ::pushes a button::
Garrus: OH MY GOD YOU MADE ME KILL THE KING

Lol.
Lili has patience....sometimes. Lia would be such a shooter fan, it's not funny. Athena would rather blow things up in real life. Titra has a bit of patience, thanks to meditating, but she still likes to blow stuff up. Elizabeth would be able to sit through talking, but she's not a fan of videogmaes. Maria, it depends for her.
