  Was she in Lothering with Hawke?  Or did he flee to the Free Marches because he knew he had a sister there?  I know she was a mage, so did he know he had a sister or was she taken from his family when he was young?  Other family members?  Kind of curious here.  My apologies if this has been asked and answered but the search feature on here never seems to work for me.

Don't know yet, but I think one of the screenshots showed you and your sister fighting darkspawn, so if that's Lothering, she should be there.
