Hey, I've recently gotten scripting down for making an item, with a little help from a couple tuts... but now I want to be able to make a merchant that sells the items I create, instead of having these items just appear in my inventory.

The idea behind this is to create a merchant in your party camp called "Agent of the Maker", give him non-VO text with something like "The Maker has chosen to grace you with the presence of items from realms unknown (Other player created items)".

Once I can get the script down needed to have him function correctly, I think you can just add the items he sells through editing the merchant's inventory through his edit page.

To me, this could be a nice addin for people looking for custom made items, potions, etc... and could easily install the merchant and all the items packed with it, with the "builder to player" option, with having the ability to download an updated version every so often for more items, or just include items themselves.

This may even be too ambitious a project for someone with such little skill in modding such as myself, but I have already made/tested 20+ items (Items for Shale are still a PITA though... ugh), so if someone else would want to pick up or help me with a project like this, I would appreciate it.

Even if you decide to take the idea, I could help make items, or even other people wanting in could make items... I just think this idea could branch out into a full fledged "Project" worthy addin, merchants with quests, custom spell books, potions, gifts, etc.

Let me know what you all think!

PS - Someone figure out how to use the "Templar Massive (NPC ONLY!) Chest Armor" listed in the toolset, it would be nice for my Arcane Warrior set of items!  I also made a staff called "The Maker's Staff" with a helpful amount of mana regen, spellpower, magic, etc.  At first glance it looks imba, but for any spell heavy mage, it works out nicely in the Normal+ difficulty (I play on Nightmare, and it seems pretty balanced on that!), plus, it glows with blue fire B).
