Here's mine:
-Shoulder pads without clipping issues
-Archery that doesn't suck ass (ever complete the game as an archer rogue? Every archery active talent actually lowers your overall damage output, except arrow of slaying, though it takes so long to fire it might be better to fire the 4-6 standard arrows a good rapid aim bow will get off)
-Some more varied combat animations (I was really impressed with the animations on my first playthrough, well, up until the third ogre I saw killed with the special ogre killing animation, that bugs horribly in certain fighting styles)
-Combat a little closer to the cinematics (this is kind of an animation thing again, but I just rewatched the sacred ashes trailer for Dragon age: origins and the game in that cinematic kicks the crap out of the actual game, I know, I know it's a cinematic, but even some little thing from it would've been nice, god knows why they chose to make shape-shifting a non-instant thing as it's sort of a last ditch effort thing for me)
-Better class balance in general (Don't make me feel like I need to pick a specific class/specialisation to not suck, archery rogue was near unbearable, early on it was better to ignore my archery talents and just backstab like crazy)
-On the subject of importing your dragon age Origins save game, and how the things you did in DA:O Will effect the world of Dragon Age 2, figure out a way to bring my character into the new art style, I'm the goddamn hero of Ferelden, essentially the Arl of Ameranthine AND the princess-consort of Ferelden, by this point I'm a pretty damn important character in the lore (I realise that is somewhat non-canon, when you think about the books, but the point of an epic RPG is meant to be your character's rise to being an important character in the self-contained lore of that particular instance of the game, every DnD player wants to be as big as Elminster I think).
I LOVED dragon age, (I've spent over 150 hours on it, more than any other single player game, actually) but there's so much I hate about it too
