Hi,

Stanley Woo said to post this here for a possible fix...

I have a notification that pops up in the upper left corner of my screen. It says I have group invitation. When I click on it to accept or decline the screen just takes me to my groups page. I can't accept or decline b/c the group has been deleted or is no longer there possibly?? But that icon keeps popping back up telling me I have a notification & even if I close it- it comes right back up. Is there a way that you can fix or remove it for me please? It's pretty annoying.

There is a grey X next to the invitation inside the pop-up that opens when you click the notifier (the pop-up will have two X's total). It's difficult to see. Have you clicked that one?

Yes, I've clicked that X & the one on the main notification screen too. I've even tried opening up the 'notification' to accept or reject but it's not giving me that option.

Yeah.. I've tried everything they did & still no luck. It pops back up every time.. it's very annoying. Surely the forum site managers could reset something right?

Just revisiting this issue, as I still have it... anyone ever figure it out?

There is one more method described here, but as it is with any of the previous methods it may not work or may work only until you get a new notification, in which case the old ones come back too.
