I need to format my computer, and since I don't have Inet on that computer, I only use it offline.
Is it just to copy the profile files and then copy them back after install

(I recently did the same thing with Batman - Dark asylum.. but that didn't work for some reason, som I had to start all over)

am I to understand that with, I would have no problems formatting my c drive, and copu my profile files back, and pick up where I left in the game?

If you're desire is to keep your characters and save game, you'll want to backup this folder:

Windows XP: My Documents\\\\Bioware\\\\Dragon Age\\\\Characters\\\\
Windows Vista: Documents\\\\Bioware\\\\Dragon Age\\\\Characters\\\\
