I have a question in awakening. You could made all of you're companions warden's? For the last one i recruited Sigrum, i have go to that guy to make her warden but it don't work. Don't work for the last one to make him/her, whatever is you're last recruited companion.
Yes.. this is an already known problem
They probably planned that players would go to the Black Marsh at the end, therefore since Justice possesses the body of a man which is already a grey warden they thought it wasn't necessary made another joint at that point of the game.. but they didn't figure that players could also choose a different order for the main quest..
It is not really a problem, just an annoyance. You can take your last companion out of the area early and recruit them, then go back and finish it. They can be recruited in any order.

So:
- Fixed a variety of bugs related to party members' approval and personal quests not triggering.
Does this just relate to Velanna's quest? Do you still need to avoid finishing Law & Order prior to doing Sigrun's quest? I'm happy that the +100 approval bug is repaired, and happy to be able to get Velanna's quest, just want to make sure I don't lock myself out of Sigrun's quest if it's still bugged.
I have read of people saying that Sigrun's quest is still bugged and it won't trigger if you complet L&O quest before it, but I don't know if they have started a new game or they are using an old one, because they warned that patch won't work on already existing game
I cannot say anything about Velanna because I was one of the few players who had it always working, also before the patch
What I noticed is that Oghren gifts continue to give +6 approvation instead of +10 decreasing, therefore completing his quest was really difficult

Are you sure? Both Velanna and Sigrun express their wish to join the Grey Wardens only at the end of the quests.. I don't know if they will do the joining if you bring them out of the area earlier... Did you try this?
Anyway.. I was enough happy that my game stopped to crash to complain for anything.. If I have to do/not do some spefic things into the game to make the quests to work properly I'll do it.. The most important thing is that now I can play it again with high settings and without restart it every 15 minutes

One issue I'm having is that I restarted the game to get a "clean" playthrough, and all my Awakenings specializations are re-locked. Is anyone else having this issue? The strange thing is that Reaver is unlocked, even though I unlocked that in Awakenings, not in the OC, but the "new" specializations re-locked themselves.

The only problem I have is i'm continually getting the "can't connect to dragon age servers, please try later" pop up while playing.
I never had this before patch 1.04.
Nope, that is one specific thing I know I had before the patch. Pretty recently before the patch, but it was happening before I installed patch 1.04

Yes. The bad news is that this has been documented as the "best known workaround" for several issues for months. As soon as you have each of the companions in the party, go do the Joining. It breaks immersion, but it avoids all the problems (as of 1.03) with bizarre changes to approval, etc.MaxQuartiroli wrote...

The worse news is that doing the Joining before "invited" to also isn't accounted for in any plot flags...so Sigrun who's already been a Warden for an hour of playing will suddenly say she'd like to be a Warden at the end of Kal'Sharok...ugh.

This sucks. PC users get the patch but PS3 and 360 users have to wait who knows how long for the patch that's just bogus. They should have done a multi-platform release. Seriously I am so upset there are no words to describe how upset I am.
Can't wait another week or so? It's only a game!
Well excuse me for being a paying customer and wanting something fixed. It maybe just a game, but the fact is I bought the game, I paid good money for it and I believe many of us console gamers should get the patch when the PC users get it. I've waited patiently. I've told others who've complained and insulted bioware to calm down and stop with the insults. I've been pretty mellow. So take your "It's only a game" and go else where. I'm fed up with waiting and being calm.

Blame Microsoft and Sony they insist on doing a certifcation first before you get your patch as it is WE PC users had to wait as to not upset Console users And WHY NO REASON AT ALL !!!!! You Certification dose not inprove are P.C. patch nor did getting are P.C. Patch that is coded differently Slow up your patch Certification.
In fact it helps with the Quests bugs get reported faster get a working Patch out for both P.C. and Console faster When P.C. report them to the developers so they can begin making Patch 1.05 now insted of when ever MS and sony get done with your Certification.
Simply put multi-platform release help no one but your ego.
So please Get your facts straight Before you post OR you might say something you regret and embarrass your self and sound like a spoiled child.
((HE GOT LOLLPOP WEARS MINE WAAAAA WAAAAAA WAAAA!!!!)
The PC was done over a month ago why exactly should we not gotten it? How dose it hurt you the console user that we did?
See what I mean?
For record if you have not noticed 1.04 not exactly perfect so your not missing much. And I still crash but not near as often.
In my opinion Bioware should not of sold the expantions DLC all rest nonsence nore be planning a Dragon Age 2 untill they had working products for ALL Paying Customers!
But do not try turn this into a P.C. VS Console board it will not be welcome by anyone here Console or P.C. Owner.

Yes, I have tried it, at least with Sigrun... They dont ask to join, but they will anyway. Funny thing is, Sigrun will ask again at the end of her quest!

There is a small bug in the patch. In post coronation, Shale has a body of Caradin without the head. She talks and responds fine but her look is distorted. Before installing the patch, i had never encountered this bug. I have no mods installed except official dlcs.
This is a bug that existed prior to the patch; I've gotten it on several occasions. It appears to be caused by saving before talking to the party members in the Epilogue and then loading from the save.

Ah, I didn't know that. So, I guess it has nothing to do with 1.04. Thank you, darkrose.
