Hey victor, how about you fix the textrues on some of those armors now?
Yeah, I don't think that's part of Victor's job description. Any way, not extensively tested this patch, but it's worrying that the crashing persists. I'm just waiting then for this to affect me. If it does, I'm shelving this and just going with the xbox version... very sad.

I'll be waiting for 4.0a or whatever the hotfix will be called. Kudos to Bioware for putting so much work into this latest patch though. I can't wait for the all clear to install it.

When I mean you, I mean Bioware. Also victor, you haven't responded to a week old post in which you'd tell me you'd answer me something. Not very cool on your part.

I'm really hoping this patch fixes it... any feedback from others who have (had?) the same issue will be much appreciated!

Hehe, I love people who rush to install the latest patches. They're like lab mice and don't even realize it.

We install them because ... we need them. I had some issues with the game both performance and gameplay wise. On my system, the game crashes twice per hour and yes, I am playing as a mage. I was using patch 1.03 and this was happening so you can imagine I rushed to grab 1.04. BioWare is top notch when it comes to writing games so I expected nothing but perfection in this patch. Maybe something happened with my install ... I will see after I finish reinstalling the game.

How should I proceed? Install origins then patch then awakening? Or Origins, Awakening, then patch?
Origins -> Patch 1.04 = OK!
Origins -> Awakening -> Patch 1.04 = OK!
Origins -> Patch 1.04 -> Awakening = ...not so good! If you do that, you MUST run 1.04 again after installing Awakening.
Also, a quick note to those of you affected by DLC authorization issues. I've responded in another thread on the PC tech support forum, please check here and see if that fixes your problems: http://social.biowar.../index/3172391/

Cheers for the info mate. I just finished installing Origins, will proceed to Awakening, then to the patch. If my character creator is fixed, I can live a day without my DLCs. Understandable that the servers are hammered. I just want my game to work

So far the wiki didn't mention anything about a fix either.
Is it over with or not??

Patch notes didn't say anything about the bug with the blackblade armor set.

That's because they didn't fix hardly any of the cosmetic problems. A few serious issues listed that they wouldn't fix either, but that's another issue entirely.

Wow you sound so positive about it! Can you be that sure??
I find it strange that Bioware would deliberately leave out some bugs!!
