Wow you sound so positive about it! Can you be that sure??
I find it strange that Bioware would deliberately leave out some bugs!!
Read the old threads, there are lots of serious issues that were deliberately left unfixed because of technical limitations. I didn't say they did it because they didn't care. They just couldn't and deliberately left them unfixed.

Technical limitations is all we got on the most glaring problems people have been reporting. Most people say it's to do with the patch size limits for the consoles. Bioware hasn't actually categorically stated what the technical limitations are.

Does such a thing exist? Since it took lots of ranting to get this one, I'm just wondering if another one is even planned.

Hopefully there will be more patches instead of just dlc, maybe even a dlc patch to avoid the size limitations. But yeah, took basicly nine months to get this one, and thousands of posts regarding problems/bugs, so lets hope the next one is out before DA2. Will be nice when it finally gets released for consoles, although I am worried by the fact that the only thing mentioned in regards to dex fixes was daggers.

This note does not address the fact that even if the encounter with Velanna has been correctly resolved, there are MANY cases where the Warden ends up naked rather than in prison clothing, and the Warden's inventory does not properly show up on the doppelganger.Victor Wachter wrote...
(Awakening) Silverite Mine Issues
Some players have experienced a situation where it is possible to enter the Silverite Mine in the Wending Wood early by picking the lock to the door (despite the lock initially appearing to be impossible to pick) prior to completing the quest with Velanna. Due to technical limitations, we will be unable to patch this issue and as such we wish to communicate to players to avoid this situation.
Entering the Silverite Mine early may result in loss of some inventory as well as broken plot flags due to prior quests not being completed properly. Normally, the door will unlock after fully resolving the encounter with Velanna and the player should not attempt to enter the Silverite Mine before then.
This note does not address the fact that two out of four pieces of the Blackblade Armor cannot normally be obtained (but may possibly be obtained as unlikely random drops)(Awakening) Armor sets: Sentinel Armor & Vigilance Sword (Xbox 360 and PS3), Blackblade Armor (All platforms)
Unfortunately, we are unable to fix the issues concerning these armor sets and the Vigilance Sword.
Overall, then, for my list of issues I was still tracking (with my assigned severity) that might not be fixed:
- Endgame dialogue issues ("Alistair is still king" bug): Not fixed in 1.04. Fixed by mods for PC, No workaround for consoles, severity 2 out of 5 (affects gameplay/immersion)
- "Find Vitals" bug: Not fixed in 1.04. Fixed by mods for PC, no workaround for Consoles, severity 2 out of 5.
- Silverite Mines inventory bug for Warden: Not fixed in 1.04. No mod. Only workaround is to save before becoming a prisoner. Severity 3 out of 5 (severe impact, possibly almost gamebreaking for some players if no recent saves)
- Ancient Elven Boots: Still not fixed in 1.04. Fixed by mods for PC, doesn't show up on Consoles. Severity 1 out of 5 (lower severity only because mods are a "complete" fix.)
- Where's the rest of my Blackblade armor?: Still not fixed in 1.04. Fixed by mods for PC, no workaround for consoles, severity 2 out of 5.
- Warden Commander Armor and other skin issues: Not fixed in 1.04, and likely will never be completely fixed. Fixed by mods for PC, severity 2 out of 5 (affects gameplay/immersion)
- "Delayed Death" bug (and other issues with slowness in combat): Might be fixed in 1.04, wait and see. More news to follow.
- Additional percent to healing (item property): Not fixed in 1.04. Fixed by mods for PC, no workaround for consoles,
- severity 1 out of 5 (seriously, if it's still broken the way I think it is, I *still* have never noticed since those sort of details are mostly hidden/have limited precision.)
=-=-=-=
To the list above, I'll now add sunjammer's report that script.ldf reverted two versions, and there was some other bug report earlier in this thread about an issue I've never seen. There's also a question about whether the "Wending Woods, Velanna never triggers if you follow one specific path" issue is fixed in 1.04.
I really hope BW goes ahead and tells us the rest of their issues list, not just the ones that they've confirmed are not fixed in 1.04, so we can stop wasting everyone's time trying to report issues of which they're aware.

Cool, got the steam update. Thanks BW.
Does the Steam Updated auitomatically come when you start the game?
You've probably got it by now, but in case you didn't, it just does it automatically when steam is open. I don't think you can force it.

At this point I'd describe my attitude as "guarded optimism" but I fear that the balance in Awakening will still be fatally flawed (way too easy) once I can actually play it.

Thanks for keeping track of that list - if only Bioware could be so diligent. I would like to add Haste effects on Ranged Attack Speed to that list, though - this is a simple scripting bug that could easily be fixed by Bioware, but continues to be ignored.

Again I ask, does this item property work for Arcane Warriors? If the answer is yes, then the item property is working as intended, as much as people might wish for it to work othewise.

Nuts. It did not fix the silverlite mine bug so now I half to restart the game. I read somewhere that the bug was caused by pickiing the lock, but thats wrong. I entered the mines after I got the elf into my group. Does anyone know if there is an unofficial fix for it?
Are you playing an Arcane Warrior? If so, take off all your non-mage gear (ie massive amour, melee weapons, etc) before going into the Silverite Mines. You'll get it all back when you retrieve your inventory in the crate beside the merchant.

This just goes to prove the EA effect of dragging once great companies down into the dirt. This game has got to be one of the most buggy titles Bioware has ever release and the kicker was it was delayed for console release 6 month they could of fix half the problems then.
I don't have much hope that there will be a patch 4.0a that most people are hoping for.

I don't see anything about the fix for the daggers on the console versions or will this be updated once the console version patch is released?
Also what does it mean by floating numbers not appearing I actually liked knowing how much damage I did to an enemy?
Reposting, but was also wondering I didn't see anything on the 1.04 release page about the stealing issue that the update was suppose to fix or is that a console only problem too and be announced when the console patch is released?
Usually how long after pc patch does console patches come out?
