I'd like to see this as well. I've still not updated to 1.04 because of this issue... Are modders really being forced to "roll their own" when it comes to patches? Please, BioWare, I know you were being generous in giving us the toolset, but we'd appreciate some support for it.

Bumping this because I finally patched to 1.0.4 and ran into the issue.

Sunjammer's workaround solved the issue, but it took me a little while to realise you use the Toolset to open .erf files! Start the toolset, use File > Open to open the patch002.erf, scroll to script.ldf, right click it and extract to your patch directory. Restart the toolset and you'll be good to go.

It is easy to check: open the script editor and, in the panel on the right, search for any of the v1.03 functions.

Again some time later...I didn´t expect a reaction of Bioware to this. But rather paranoid related to patches I must update now v 1.01 and have to realize that Bioware does not leave users a choice which patch version to download. Only v. 1.04 offered for download? No problem to download a lower version from another site.

Very attentive to the needs of toolset users...

Indeed, it seems gone are the days of BioWare encouraging people to make use of the Toolset (for example, back when NWN's toolset was released).

Then again the toolset could do with a few fixes too...

Maybe that will change if an update is released to add compatibility for DA2, but that's a fairly big if at this stage I think. :crying:

I've highlighted this issue to Rob Bartel and asked him to (double/triple) check that this has been addressed in the upcoming v1.05 patch. If anyone happens to have the v1.05 beta patch and feels like cracking open the patch004.erf I wouldn't mind a look at the version script.ldf included.
