I took her quote to mean that after a day the baby wouldn't be classified as a baby anymore because now it would have the soul of an old god.

That's different. The demon did all that through Connor. Not Connor himself. He couldn't have done it if he tried. OGB will have to learn to use its powers. Morrigan was planning on helping in that department.

No. You are wrong on so many levels.
If the baby was going to instantly grow to adulthood all the crap about taking the baby and raising it, etc etc etc would have been completely pointless.

Why does the god-baby need to be an adult, anyway? Nothing wrong for it to be a kid (if it even is one) for DA2. He/she could be used in DA3 as an adult, if there will be one.

Indeed, she says that if you express concern for the child (which would be at that point just a zygote) being harmed as a result of the ritual. That seemed pretty obvious to me.

I doubt god baby will be in DA2, why? because me and most other don't want it to be canon. So i think somehow they should make it that morrigan gets a god baby in DA2 if she didnt already get it in DA:O, then everyone will be happy.
