I've always wondered if it was possible to take a 3ds Max (.max) model and animate it for NWN? I know nothing of modeling but I was looking around on the net and came across this:

www.turbosquid.com/FullPreview/Index.cfm/ID/524653

... and was wondering if it is possible to take models like that and make them fit for NWN?

There are NWN import/export scripts for 3ds Max. So yes. It would take more or less extra work to fit the animations to NWN, depending on the model in question.

It does bear mentioning that the dinosaurs in the pack you linked are too high in poly-count for NWN, though.

Yeah I figured they where. Was mainly looking into purchasing something like that and donating it to someone that could/would animate them for the NWN community. Though I don't know how much time it takes to animate let alone decrease the model polygons (or even if thats possible).

PS: Always thought NWN should have dinosaurs!
