When I went to resume my game, the following message popped up: "This saved game includes BioWare premium content. To load this saved game, an owner of the following premium content must log in: Blood Dragon Armor, The Stone Prisoner, Feastday Gifts."
I think "ok, maybe I was somehow logged out, even though I told the program to keep me logged in." I glance at the lower left corner of the menu screen. Nope. Still logged in. I log back out and in again. Same message pops up when I try to load my game.
Then I decide to check out the "Downloadable Content" page. Feastday Gifts and The Stone Prisoner are listed as being available for purchase, along with their point costs. However, when I check the "Installed Content" page, they are both listed as being installed and "enabled", but in the lower right corner of each content entry it says (unauthorized). When I hover my mouse over that word I get a tooltip that says "Your account isn't authorized to access this content. Log in with the account that owns this content so the content can be authorized and then enabled."
What is going on here? I AM logged in with the account that owns this content! And yet the game is telling me that I'm not...
help me, please?

this is happening to me as well, i tried everything to fix it.
did the whole stop DAupdater crap deleted the addins folder and all the other stuff, nothing works.
I'm now reinstalling Origins and Awakening, and if that doesn't work, i will be seriously pissed off.

Hello Bevan, have you tried (in light of the new patch) a complete uninstall and re-install of your game, re-patching up? What are the specifics of your problem beyond that?

I don't know if this is gonna be of any help, but I've had the same exact problem as the OP since the game came out. The ONLY difference is the DLC I have. So that means it's not a certain DLC that's causing it. My solution is what some would consider insane. Just click resume over and and over and over and over and over AND OVER until it takes. Honestly, and this is not meant to be a slight against Mr. Willis, but uninstalling and reinstalling seems a bit extreme for this. However, that's usually how these things work and it's a very common suggestion. I'm not expert enough to tell the OP not to try that method. However, if you don't mind clicking a zillion times, then it will eventually let you in. It's what I've always done and will continue to do.
Edit: I should point out that I've had this problem since I first purchased Orgins. Before I bought any DLC and was just using Stone Prisoner (that came with the collector's edition). Based only on that, I would say this has nothing to do with the patch.

Wow now this issue suddenly happend with me as well, I see I can suddenly buy the stone prisoner, though it also says I have it installed and it's authorized, this was not an issue earlier today.
Problems just pop out of nowhere now.

It keeps getting de-authorized. So annoying. I got it authorized by re-logging in game, but after a bit, it de-authorize again

I'm having this same problem with darkspawn chronicles and stone prisoner, its only occurred after i installed wardens keep its really odd when i start the game they are all authorized yet a couple of seconds later these two both say unauthorized im getting really annoyed now. DLCs have caused all kinds of problems with my game i even did a complete reinstall of the whole game and re patched it and its still doing it. I know this is unrelated but since installing wardens keep even when i manage to load a game it says i am unable to travel at this time on every save on every character plus it won't even let me start a new game. All of this has only happened since installing wardens keep =( I really regret getting it now its stop me playing the game altogether =(

I was experiencing the same thing as you guys w/ my dlc (unauthorize/authorize, missing items and characters) and I was doing everything that was suggested save from fiddling around w/ the registries or manually un-install and nothing worked. The step that I followed is on the first post at the very last paragaph. I just had to change the file name "profile.dap" to "profile1.dap" (no quotation marks). You can find that in My Documents\\\\Bioware\\\\Dragon Age\\\\Settings\\\\profile.dap. Just make sure to back up that file first before changing the name.

I have the same problem with the blood armor and the stone prisoner. I haven't tried your solution yet, but I have found that I can play with all my DLC as long as I am not logged in. If I log in, I'm unauthorized again. Gotta figure a patch is needed for this patch.

Once the DLC had downloaded, I got the message to restart the game to activate the new DLC, so I did. Then I could not load my newly started game because of the unauthorised message.
After several reboots, and must annoyance. I deleted all the DLC, started DA and let it download the DLC again, but this time I waited in the menu for ever until the DLC was done. Restarted DA, and could finally load my new game.
Extremely annoying to get content I've paid for.
