Just installed 1.04 on the PC. The Stone Prisoner, Return to Ostagar and Warden's Keep quests on my current playthrough apparently were corrupted by the patch. The quest entries (both active and completed) show up as blank in the journal (blank entry, blank text), and none of the "gold" areas are showing up on the map. Levi Dryden's back in the camp with his "!", even though I completed the quest quite a while ago. Shale's stil in the party, but ability descriptions are blank. (no name, no text).

What gives?

It's really annoying, and im reinstalling awakenings and origins right now.

Well, not really the same one, as everything is showing up as "authorized" for me. Just not working. Feastday gifts specifically are showing up in the premium content quest tab, though. And seem to work, too.

Try refreashing your bioware points. I had the unauthorized error as well but refreashing the points for some reason re-authorized them

I had to go back to a previous save, everything seems to work again. Happily I only lost about 15 mins of gameplay. I guess it was some kind of authorization issue after all.



Somewhat more worried by the third crash to desktop I've had since installing the patch... Getting flashbacks of NWN

Glad to see your issue was (mostly) resolved. As far as the CTD's are concerned, what operating system are you running?



..and, if the problem persists, would you try a reinstall-repatch and let me know if that affects it? Please, please make sure that you back up your own savegames so you don't lose your progress, of course.

XP Pro, here. After the initial rush of CTDs (all three were when loading a new area), I just had two hours of uninterrupted gameplay. I'll keep playing tomorrow (past 2 am here), but for the moment I'm assuming it might have been related to the other glitch.



EA core services also still hates me, but I think that's really more an issue for the other (EA) board...

Patch 1.04 broke my DlC. About half of it now shows up as being unauthorized. I logged out logged back in several times and it didn't help.
