Ok, I believe that origins spans a year in total because when conversating with Wynne at one point she recalled to me that my joining was no more than just a year ago, therefore origins should span from a year to a year 1/2 in my opinion. And for Awakening, it was stated by the devs that Awakening was set 6 months after the conclusion of Origins. So to my point, if Dragon Age 2 is set alongside the events of Origins and Awakening through a time span of 10 years, in the first 2 years of the game we might be able to participate in the events with our Warden and his team.

I sincerely doubt we'll be participating, but there is an overlap of time there. The problem is that (to my knowledge) we don't know exactly when DA2 begins. I get the impression that we'll be in a different place while the majority of the DA:O stuff is going on, with the possible exception of very early in the game.

It would be nice to see some overlap, maybe you cause a delay for the Darkspawn attacking Vigils Keep, allowing the Warden to not be overun when fighting there. Perhaps you intercept a group of former werewolves who have turned to banditry, or an abandoned Dalish Camp that shows signs of a Werewolf attack as well as magic use and definable weapon wounds?

As I remember, Ogren said in Awakening that he got married and had a child after the end of DAO, so how can it only be 6 months after? Isent it 1-2 years?

I would like to at least be able to witness some of the events in DA:O, to observe the decisions I took from a new perspective, maybe placed in the context of Hawke's rise to power.

Last time I checked, the devs stated that Awakening was 6 months after Origins... must be a Dwarf thing. That or Oghren Met and did Felsi during Origins, idk... formulate your own theory and meet back here in this topic to discuss
