soooooow, is anyone else watching Inter - Twente?
Really good match, first 20 minutes were for Inter with some good chances and second 20 was for Twente with some big chances. 0-0 so far

nope, I seldom watch football in recent months :( I've only watched few Arsenal matches and Milan Darby.
Its not a good year for my teams, I have to stick with Mourinho ... don't forget to watch:
Mon 29/11/10 PRD Barcelona 23 : 30 Real Madrid

Mourinho is a blight on football. Nearly everything he does is against the spirit of the game. Last night was another example of that.

He's a general, a great tactician, and as Slayer would put it, the Sport is War.

And, btw, the spirit of football died a long time ago already.

He is neither a general nor a tactician. He is a self obsessed cheat who puts himself above the team and the sport. The Porto team he won the league with was found to be bribing officials yet he seems to have gotten out of that without any questions being leveled at him. His lies caused one of Europes best referees to recieve death threats and have to retire. Mourinho again got off with that with no penalty against his name.

He took over Chelsea the season after they finished 2nd, they were the richest team in the land and United and Arsenal were going through big changes. Somehow winning the league under those circumstances got him hailed as a great coach. Then he goes to Inter and its the same again he takes over a team thats already on top when everyone else has been weakened and is somehow a great coach. Why isn't Mancini a great coach too? He made the team.

Until he starts winning with a team who aren't the biggest/richest team in the country without resorting to his usual cheating ways and playing anti-football he can't be considered a great coach. He got lucky with the Porto team in Europe and didn't even try to play football last year. I don't know what sport Inter were playing but it wasn't football. Mourinho is everything thats wrong with the modern game all rolled into one man. Corrupt, self obsessed, all about the bottom line, media wh*ring and just plain cheating.

Mourinho won a Champions League with Inter. The same team this year can't keep up in the Europa League zone. Tell me now, was it the team or Mourinho? My best friend and roommate is an Inter fan since 94. Hell, he even remembers all darby goals between Inter and Milan in the last 10 years. Now, if I ask, would anyone in Mourinho's position do what he did in 2 years? He'd give a straight no. And they won't unless Mourinho gets back to Inter.

Have Inter not had injury and form problems all season? They are also adapting to a new manager who proved at Liverpool he is a terrible man manager. Yet he won the Champions League too with Liverpool.

What did Mourinho have to do in those 2 years at Inter? They had already won the league what was it 4 years in a row? The team was already built and there was very little competition domestically he only had to really concentrate on winning the Champions League which he did by not playing football but stopping other teams from playing.

He takes over teams when they are on top, milks the praise then takes off before any hard times really start. Just listen to him after the Barca game last season it wasn't *we* beat Barca it was *I* beat Barca. He has taken over Real when they are outspending everyone, a season after most of the new Galactacos have had a season to settle and when Barca aren't at their best. Yet if Real win the league he will milk all the praise. Almost identical to what he did at Chelsea. He is a parasite.

I did but lets face it its Real so the chance of them getting anything more than a small fine isn't very high. I'd suspend everyone involved for the fist 2 knockout games but that won't happen.

That was glorious. Ronaldo doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as Messi and Xavi.

Nobody with Real deserves to be mentioned in the same breath as Barcelona, they dominated the entire match and I enjoyed every moment of it

Two words for Real Madrid...

Epic.

Fail.

Great play by Barca though, really impressive passing, possession, and dribbling skill. And I never get tired of watching Villa score goals!

It was kind of bitter at the same time for me. It reminded me of the Champions League final a couple of seaons ago when they did a similar job against United. Ronaldo was just as effective then too. I can't even figure out what Madrids gameplan was supposed to be, mind you I'm not sure theres anything they could have done against Barca on that form.

I don't think there was really anything Madrid could have done, they barely touched the ball. I mean they really only had one decent shot on goal plus Ronaldo's two free kicks. Any time they tried to get up field they were getting tackled, or their passes got intercepted.

From the very start though they were allover the place and seemed aimless, their passing was woeful. They didn't even seem interested until they decided to start trying to break Barca players. God it was beautiful to watch lol.

The World Cup locations for 2018 and 2022 are chosen

The FIFA have clearly chosen for the money with Russia for 2018 and Qatar for 2022

Russia I saw coming, big country, big (new) supporterscrowd, never organized an WC but it should have been in The Netherlands and Belgium! :(

Congrats to Russia.

I have to admit, I'm looking forward to all the "In Soviet Russia..." jokes that'll come from this!

I like the idea of the world cup in Russia. In Soviet Russia football plays you.

Sky Sports News has turned into comedy gold. They have been declaring England favourites since yesterday and are now up in arms because they didn't win, they are even talking about an inquest. Its like the world cup allover again. Thank god this is over now though it was disgusting watching the politics at work.
