I can't recall exact stories but for some reason I'm under the impression that Van Gaal is nuttier than squirrel turds. I'm not sure what exactly it was that gave me that impression of him.
The SPL is even more of a joke now anyway, may aswell just hand Celtic the title now. A pointless league, rendered even more redundant.
I don't even mind players leaving for money, you want more cash? Fair enough, just bloody say that. Going on the way they do, they may aswell just admit straight up that they have no respect for the fans or their current manager and they think most people who aren't footballers are utter morons. Thats why I hated Tevez when he left United, not because he wanted more than we thought he was worth but because of how he went about it, first the blackmailing and then the straight up lying. What did it achieve? No one in their right mind believes him, same with RVP if he goes to Man City. Same with Rooney when he questioned United's ambition, just say you want more money you ******.
Whatever happened to Ronnie Stam? Is he even still at Wigan? Signing players from the Dutch league isn't what it used to be, it seems to be a bit of a lottery these days, you never know what you're going to get.
Joey Barton at that club, Obaka? Could probably throw Tevez and Holloway in there too.
United have alledgedly accepted a £5m offer for Park from QPR. Sad to see him go, he's been a great squad player for us and scored some big goals but he's in his 30's now and struggling to secure a place in the team. Plus we only paid £4m for him so not a bad deal. He could still do a job for a team willing to play him every week.

I would suggest his demeanor.
It certainly seems that way. Now let's see the money argument at work. Seeing that Rangers is no longer in the SPL then that means whatever team takes that second spot will have massively enhanced finances to then battle with Celtic and be elevated. After all, Old Firm fans thought this is true if the clubs walked into the Premier League and had the finances of Man Utd....
That's annoying as well. Seemingly becoming more political in that respect. *Urgh*
Forrest.....Gump....flash....back.....
We should start a format of filling out a sheet, and seeing if we can get a complete football club. In that case I would probably also add Rio Ferdinand with his tweets (he also had a TV show if memory serves).
This morning it seems to be that they have accepted QPR's bid for Park. And it would be a good deal for them. Park needs regular games.

Maybe because of this:

As far as I know Stam is still at Wigan. It's a shame really because he was a really good player here

Bloody hell, Ribery is completely disgusted, look at his face, imagine him at the beach he would throw up. Robben seems to be ignoring his teammates around him and taking the glory for himself there, so it extends to off field antics too.
I think the story about Van Gaal I heard was something about attempting to prove he is manly by showing people his balls. I can't fully remember the story or who told it, I think it was a former Bayern player.
Whatever team takes the second spot in the SPL won't even make it past the qualifiers I'd imagine. Finances of United? You could have aimed a bit higher there lol.
LMAO at Forest Gump. I really should have caught that when I was typing it. I blame flying aids...
Be glad you can't fully remember Ferdinand's tv show, it was god awful. He had one on MUTV too where he tackled racism, it had alot of former black United players talking about people being racist or something. I can't remember, it was pretty awful as you'd imagine. However Red Kitchen where they force people like Patrice Evra, Sir Alex and a few others to cook for the likes of Dennis Law to judge them was well worth a watch. I've gone off on a tangent here...I'd need to think about getting MUTV again for the pre-season games...
Aye, Park will do a job for a team that plays him. Sad to see him go but we were under using him too. Hopefully we are clearing space in the squad for bringing in a central midfielder or two. My heart says Schweinsteiger/Modric, my head says no one.

I would add a speech bubble in there for Ribery along the lines of: "I can't stop looking."
Dropping his trousers or something similar? For some reason that does sound familiar.
Well....the initial grumbles by fans of the old Old Firm clubs were quite a few years ago when Man Utd were amongst the financial giants before the bank rolling owners stepped forward, but yeah, I guess I could have.
Hm...that reminds me, did you read the F365 inbox with those TV show suggestions? It all seems to be coming together.
Interesting to note that Zola is taking over the helm at Watford and Giggs being captain of Team England and Wales, er....I mean Team GB.

There's really not much happening at all at the minute.
I think the trouser dropping tale was on F365 or somewhere recently.
I did read the suggestions. I'd watch Minx or Munter with Chris Gunter. Did you see what caused all that? Peter Crouch getting his own talk show, whats next?
Team England and friends? England +2? They need a more relevant name.
There's rumours going round that the Russians have a contract that Mancini signed to manage Russia until after the 2018 World Cup. Bit odd considering he just signed a new contract.
Pre-season friendlies start this week.

It is quiet at the moment. There is hardly any worthy transfer news and only rumours/gossip about those which, quite frankly, I don't really care about.
Crouch getting his own talk show? I thought that was one of the shows being made up for a laugh. Blimey.....
I'd agree with you, Druss. Unfortunately I think them upstairs will be sticking with Team GB....
Hm...future planning? A seemingly odd move I think.
I guess the one thing that we haven't touched upon is the Terry thing. Wonder how long that will rumble on for...

Nope, thats what started the whole thing, apparently its happening. I think it was in mediawatch the other day. On the Couch with Peter Crouch...
England and Chums? Stuarty P's half of GB?
Indeed, it seems to be suggested he was leaving Man City to take over Russia and signed a deal with them before signing with Man City. Now The Iron Gerbil is on their wanted listed.
The best thing about the Terry trial was watching an SSN reporter having to say "Your mums a slag!" into the camera, his tone of voice and face were priceless. It's all getting a bit ridiculous with what they claim to say to each other on the pitch.
I'm so bored I'm considering getting MUTV in for the pre-season matches starting on Thursday, see where we play Kagawa.
I'm not liking the rumours of Dempsey to Liverpool, I don't want to have to hate him. I think he could do a job at United, versatile, good in the air and with an eye for goal. Plus he wouldn't cost a huge sum.

......Words desert me.
I like that one. Mind you, given the general furore of trying to assemble England and Chums team from the home nations I do wonder whether the Welsh FA will have words with the Welsh players taking part.
So....er....I take it the reporter had some sort of point to make with respect to the trial rather than just insulting someone? I read that they have already had the lip readers in to view the clip and stuff, and they confirmed Terry did say those words. I guess all that can be done now is for them to argue the context in which those words were said. Shades of......Suarez.
Let us know if you do, Druss.
I sort of want to state that Dempsey is the sort of player Rooney should be.... Dempsey should have a crack at bigger things after his time at Fulham, though at the moment Liverpool isn't much of a step up.

I hope his first guest is Ronnie Corbett.
I think because its Bale the FAW relented and let them play. The problem you have with being a bit sh*t but having one decent player. Us and Scotland dodged it by having one decent player between us and he is both overage and out of football with illness.
I can't recall why he had to say that, I think he was recounting everything that was said in the trial, which including someones mum being a slag.
The MUTV plan is cancelled, my xbox got the three red lights tonight and the warranty ran out last month. I knew that was going to happen as soon as it ran out. So since this is the third time its happened I now need to get the money from somewhere to get an Xbox Slim. I'm seriously getting tired of gaming and might just give it up after this generation has run its course.
How do you mean? Because of the versatility? Dempsey said he wants CL football so why would he go to Liverpool?

Along those lines may I suggest Verne Troyer?
Almost forgot about Darren Fletcher. Any news on whether he's recovering?
That comment really is hard to put into context when the place is a courtroom....
I blame a guy called Murphy. I haven't had many problems with my aging 360; I did get an E74 error (the one where the graphics chip gets popped out of its socket due to overheating I believe) after a session on Soul Calibur IV. Mind you, I was playing off the disk at the time; and I decided to get myself a bigger capacity HDD to lessen the heat generated by the console. It's been fine since. I'm of the mind that this is likely to be my last generation of console gaming. The sort of games I like now, like BioWare's general output, are on PC. Plus I don't want to pay a lot to get the same gaming set up I now have (joysticks mainly). While there are good games still, I'm finding I have less time now to play them.
Versatile but more disciplined within that role. At least I think that's what I have in mind. Rooney can cover different positions though the impression I have of him is that he's undisciplined in those roles. Also true of Gerrard before he finally realised he can no longer just charge around the field without getting knackered.
Hm....Paddy Kenny sure likes Neil Warnock....

I like where you're going with it. I propose a height limitation on guests, no one over 5 foot tall to make him look like even more of a giant.
Haven't heard anything, I don't think he's gone on the tour. I think its a wait and see with Fletcher, I did hear speculation that he might not even be registered in the PL squad for the first half of the season atleast.
I think it may have been along the lines of insults that are traded on a football pitch and thats something Captain Leader Lionheart England Man took exception too, but I'm not sure. It's possible someones mum is a slag and they were just stating a fact.
Isn't E74 the same as three red lights or is that the one that pops up on the screen? Did you fix it yourself? I'm tired of the nonesense of gaming, for every Skyrim and The Witcher 2 theres 20 Capcom or EA games looking to rip you off. My brother loaned me some of the money to order a slim, I had a rush job to get it into my account before 5pm and get one ordered of shopto.net for £160, the cheapest I've seen anywhere. I did it, got home at 1654 and was about to order and they were charging £185 or so, turns out the free shipping is to everywhere but Northern Ireland. Now I know why the Ultimate Warrior was the way he was. I get you on the joystick part, I can't remember them ever carrying over from one generation to next except from the Gamecube to Wii-U I think.
I see what you mean. Rooney is undisciplined in every role, when he's on form he is excellent but when he's off form he's like a pub player and constantly in the wrong position. He used to be more disciplined but I think that was possibly just in comparison to Ronaldo. I don't think Gerrard realised it, he just doesn't have the legs to do it.
Perhaps Warnock feeds him plenty of pies? Kenny was mentioned in the trial too actually, Terry called him fat once, apparently.

And guests would have to do the robot dance with Crouch as well to end the show....
Sounds pretty bad. Wonder if it'll be one of these illnesses that won't really go away forcing Fletcher out of the game.
Still surprised it made it out for broadcast to be honest. Though...Sky.....
I think it's a combination. All was well after finishing my game of Soul Calibur IV, switched off; but then went to play later in the evening and I got the error message. Mine was still in warranty at the time so I got it fixed by Microsoft. Sounds annoying on the shipping part of ordering from shopto. I recall a site called Sendit.com, and the prices they had were really cheap, but their shipping is per item (which was £1.99 at the time I was about to order something) which put me off confirming the order as the amount I would pay would be more than Amazon. I recall PS controllers having some limited compatibility with other generation PlayStations, or the other way around. I forget. GameCube controllers work on the Wii as well. Having got myself a set up of two Hori arcade sticks for my PS2 and two Tournament editions sticks for my 360 I am loath to splash out any more, because that had already cost me a pretty penny. And I don't think the games for next gen would justify that sort of expenditure leaving aside my own waning interest.
You're probably right about Gerrard there. Actually curious to see how he'll play for Liverpool as a result.
Maybe it was alleged that Kenny ate all the pies.
The main interesting snippets of news I noticed was that Maradonna has been relieved of his duties, and that it seems Rodgers isn't really sure about Carroll.

A challenge between Crouch, a robot and the weeks guests?
I think they believe its managable eventually, he just has to learn how to do that. He's actually taken over Scholes role coaching the reserves. Another big issue for us is we are struggling to agree new deals with Nani and Welbeck apparently. Negotiations have been going on for a while.
Did you see the thing in mediawatch about it?
I forked out for hori joysticks a couple of times, I had and possibly still have an awesome one for the Dreamcast but I tend to not play fighting games as much as I used to. Not sure why I grew out of them, I think the death of arcades meant I no longer had to practice so I could stand around thinking I was some sort of big time success because I beat a 12 year old at Street Fighter 2. I ended up just going to GAME and getting one tonight, £180 on their website so I just went to town. Asked for just the console, she asks if I want a bundle? I say no, just the console. So she says thats £200 or I can take a game with it for £200. So I left confused, £200 worse off and with a game to boot. Odd pricing scheme.
I suspect Gerrard will play in a midfield three with Lucas and one other. Lucas will be a huge boost for them.
I didn't see the Maradona one, its not all that surprising really. He is going to take a £35m hit after one season? He's never going to live up to the price tag but you think he'd atleast get a second season, unless he wants out.
Rumours that PSG have struck a deal with AC Milan for Thiago Silva and Ibrahimovic. I'd love to see Ibrahimovic in the PL, brilliant player on his day and comedy gold too.

Wonder if the creative team for the show have had those ideas.....
Hm....sounds like there will be a fair bit of negotiating to be done then. Sounds rather annoying as well considering. Saw the blurb on the sites about Fletcher as well, and the suggestion seems to be that he may not continue his playing career (the bit about there will be a role for him at the club). Sounds worrying.
I think I missed that one...
I think for off the shelf joysticks, Hori was considered the best at the time. Certainly when I got the ones for my PS2. With the 360 though...I think the Mad Catz Tournament Edition ones just blows everything away. Moves I couldn't pull off with the Hori are a doddle with them. Rediscovered Virtua Fighter 5 as a result; that Quest mode is addictive... I've seen those odd pricing schemes before; I gave up trying to understand them. I liked the old bundles you were able to get in the old days like the original XBox. Console plus a modest sum for a number of games within a price range. I remember getting mine with a few games, where the games were half price or something similar though limited to a maximum of 5 games.
Wonder who the pick of the bunch for Rodgers will be....
The talk on F365 seems to suggest that Carroll doesn't really fit into Rodgers way of playing, and that can only mean it will be more difficult for Carroll unless he can adapt. If he can then he'd be a better player for it I think. If he can't, which I suspect is what Rodgers thinks given his remarks about Carroll going out on loan or something similar seems to suggest, then he will likely have little playing time at Liverpool. He played better, at least it seemed that way, towards the end of the season; whether that's enough to sway people's general opinion of his abilities remains to be seen.
I don't think I've seen Ibrahimovic play much before, so only know him by reputation really. I recall him being rather immense for Inter before a seemingly ill-advised move to Barcelona (all round ill-advised I think for club and player).

I assume they stopped after they rhymed Crouch with couch, just called it a day after that one.
I thought the tour started today for some reason but the first match is next week, I dunno where I got the erroneous info from. Sounds like they are worried that Fletcher will be taking up that reserve team coaching role permanently. I think our midfield is cursed, Scholes had that bizarre eye problem, Anderson has constant injury problems, Cleverly has been the same, Hargreaves says it all, Fletcher missed two CL finals and now has this problem, then there's the issues with the youngsters coming through all being a tad scummy. If anything happens to Carrick we are rather screwed. Sir Alex said in his conference today that Kagawa will play behind the striker so looks like a 4-5-1.
I never really thought of much difference in the sticks to be honest, other than how much abuse they could take. But I suppose it makes sense, I struggled to pull off moves that were second nature to me in the arcades with the last joystick I had. Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night to find my arms doing involuntary Dragon Punch motions but with that stick I was screwing it up about 6 times out of 10, I thought I just wasn't the man anymore. I struggled to get into the last Soul Calibur, it doesn't seem to have the magic it had back on the Dreamcast for me. Virtua Fighter I always struggled with, I can see the appeal but I never had the time to master it. I liked Dead or Alive for its reversal system but would have preferred to play VF with it, if that makes sense. She did sort of offer a bundle like that, I could choose from a pile of games reduced to £25 each with a console, but I was already taking the ****** spending £200 on it.
I suspect a former Swansea player...
Aye, Carroll picked up a bit towards the end there, they really did make a collosal balls up paying £35m for him. Something tells me that Rodgers style of play won't really work for Liverpool and he won't last the season there. Expecting Stevie Me to play a possession game? I don't see it working.
I've seen Ibrahimovic in spurts, he can look like the best player on the planet or a giant waste of space, in the same match.

Sounds like a cushy job if that's all they had to do....
Ancient burial ground? Hex? Hm.....the possibilities are seemingly endless.
The most noticeable difference is when I got a Hori EX2 for the 360, which is a small. I could pull off moves and stuff, but rapid taps required a bit of effort and practicing those combos in Street Fighter IV was really difficult; a difficulty I didn't have with the TE sticks. They made a big deal about the TE sticks using Sanwa parts and the difference to the performance is noticeable. Soul Calibur II was a highlight for me, with III a close second. The games are fine still but definitely lacking in certain areas. VF is all about the fighting, I have a couple of main combos and one power move to win fights against the AI. Nowhere near mastering it, but still having fun collecting stuff in it. Dead Or Alive is just crazy fun until the boss..... If memory serves all characters in DOA can counter, and only a few in VF can. I'm thinking those who can and mastered the character would be absolutely lethal in a match. Well, hopefully this one works out better for you, Druss.
Whatever happened to the gentleman's agreement about signing Swansea players. Sigurdsson was a dodge though understandable, and he ends up at Tottenham anyway which is amusing.
It was a brave appointment in a way (Rodgers). The question is whether the board and owners will have the fortitude to let Rodgers try and shape Liverpool into the team he needs it to be to get where they want it to be. AVB didn't have the time (see his statement on that affair?).
That sounds rather entertaining.
Well....Terry has been acquitted, and given the situation perhaps that isn't much of a surprise. Rangers have been sent down which is the correct choice really when we consider it to be a newly formed club.

Whatever it is it seems to affect the middle of the pitch especially. Sir Alex said he's planning on playing Powell in midfield so thats another body atleast, he's only 18 though so will probably be years before he is ready. I got MUTV in because I won't have to pay until the end of next month and I could be dead by then. It's been boredom relieving and yet midly horrific, pray you never have to see Wayne Rooney attempting to act. They keep playing this ad for some wine or whiskey with him, Giggs and Evra. Giggs and Evra are alright, Rooney sounds like the slow kid at school having to read infront of the class. Also a show about Michael Owens stables...
I think I played all the SC's up until the last one but still have the fondest memory of the Dreamcast version of SC itself. DAO is crazy fast paced reversals and spectacular, indeed everyone had a reversal, there was a button dedicated entirely to reversals. Tekken was pretty good back in the day, especially the PSP version. I never fully got into VF but the modified VF engine they used in Shenmue was brilliant, I could have played that all day long and not got bored. I still have one of the Street Fighter 2 iterations on Xbox live, possibly Turbo but I seem to be somewhat terrible at it these days using the pad. Things I remember working just don't work anymore.
I wouldn't put any faith in that agreement at all after what Rodgers did with Sigurdsson "No I wouldn't go in for him, he's their player it wouldn't be right. I'm just pubicly stating that if he wants to turn them down and sign for us, well I'd love that."
I think Rodgers was just a flavour of the month, not too expensive and hope for the best appointment. I dunno, I just don't see it ending well and Rodgers ending up on a downward slide for a year or two before finding another club that suits him. Thats my prediction. I didn't see the AVB comments but I'd imagine he isn't happy?
The Terry thing really is the worst verdict for the FA, what do they do about the captaincy now? They wouldn't investigate because of the criminal investigation, so do they charge him now like they did to Suarez? Its a very tricky situation. I didn't read the full thing but didn't the judge say Terry's version is highly unlikely but there's just not enough evidence to charge him? As far as the FA go, there's probably as much evidence as there was against Suarez. I'm confused about Rangers, are they still called Rangers? Everywhere seems to be calling them Rangers Newco. I suppose they are a different company and it could be a legal thing, its a strange name for them if thats the case.

I don't know whether Blackburn have their own TV station, but I can imagine them running those chicken adverts....
I still have fond memories of the original Soul Blade/Edge. I remember beating the opponent to the extent they lost their armour and weapon....and still I lost to them. OK. Maybe 'fond' isn't the right word.... The Tekkens have always been pretty playable as far as I'm concerned. Now you mention it, Shenmue II did use a VF-like engine for the combat. The 360 D-pad is rubbish for fighting games, and I find myself using the analogue sticks instead. It's far too difficult to hit diagonals on those properly. I hear the Saturn had the best D-pad for fighting games.
True. And since nothing is written down in black and white he would be doing nothing legally questionable. It works for them anyway....
Quite a few managers didn't manage to make the immediate step up in the Premier League over the years, so I'm led to believe that Rodgers should have a better chance than others. Hodgson was at Liverpool when the ownership changed, wasn't he? Rodgers should at least have some stability.
AVB said something like he respected the decision but didn't like it. Later there was something about Abramovich not keeping promises. Probably what most of us would expect really.
Surely they won't force Hodgson to make Terry captain; that would undermine the manager again. As for the summary of the verdict as you understand it, Druss, that's pretty much how I see it as well. Though Terry is not criminally charged, the judge's comments certainly casts his character under scrutiny.
It is a legal thing of sorts I think. The club we knew as Rangers was liquidated. A new club was formed with the same name and took residence in the same location as the liquidated club. From what I read, the new company had the option to undertake certain contracts belonging to the old club (the transferring of contracts); but, as we've seen, some players have blocked the transfer of their contracts. If we consider the so called Rangers Newco (I think I prefer Nangers....) as a new club located elsewhere, then there really is no reason why this club should be allowed into the top tier of Scottish domestic football. Some fans may (wrongly) see this as a relegation when it is no such thing. This will be a club with no history in a very literal sense. I'm sure a lot of the Scottish clubs saw things in a similar light hence the overwhelming decision to vote for them to start in the third tier rather than 'continue' in the SPL. I have no doubt that fans of Rangers are disappointed, but that club is no more in a legal sense. At least that's how I understand the matter anyway.

Hhmmm...Butchery with the Boss; Bob's weekly butcher master class. Having Fun with David Dunne; David Dunne's weekly activity show reviewing recreation spots around Blackburn. On the Toilet with Junior Hoillet; Junior reviews Blackburns various public toilets in a one off special. Gomes Under the Hammer; Nuno Gomes auctions himself each week for a different charity.
I don't think I played the PS1 version and began with the Dreamcast, now there was a pad not built for fighting games or games in general. Tekken was always playable but I just found the PSP version a hell of an achievement squeezing that onto a handheld. Yeah, Yu Suzuki modified the engine to allow for multiple oponents and bigger areas, I think Shenmue was originally his idea for an RPG starring the Japanese guy from VF which eventually morphed into Shenmue. I know there was a VF RPG starring that guy (Akira?) involved there somewhere. Shenmue remains one of the best games I've ever played. Saturn or Megadrive 6-button pad were awesome for fighting games, I actually preferred them to arcade sticks back in the day.
Not sure how the whole ownership thing went down in regards to Hodgson actually, possibly he was incarge when Fenway took over but it was after the transfer window closed, because Kenny got all the cash to spend and Hodgson didn't really.
Abramovich seems to just tell people whatever they want to hear to get them to sign.
The FA are apparently launching an investigation now, SSN briefly said something about it earlier. This could get very ugly, if they don't do something Scousers will be up in arms(when are they not?), if they do chare him now then Chelsea will be up in arms.
Ah I get it now. Seems a very awkward existance "We are Rangers, but we aren't really." Surprised they didn't go for Rangers of Glasgow or something.
Pre-season friendlies seem to be in full flight now. Alot of teams played today. I can almost smell the new season upon us. Month and a half until Jim White transfer deadline day, my favourite day of the year.
United are alledgedly in talks with Christian Eriksen. We seem to be getting linked with alot of attacking midfielders. It's somewhat strange.

With that first show I think we will see why the owners think so highly of Bob.
Soul Blade was a very different sort of game. Soul Calibur set the foundations for the 8-way run used ever since in the series, but Soul Blade was still very much solidly 2-D plane of movement with the ability to move into and out of the screen. Weapons could be lost and you have to fight with your fists. I think there were some interactive endings though that could just be my hazy memory at work again. What I liked about it was that western characters spoke in English and the Japanese characters spoke Japanese. Would have been even more impressive if Siegfried spoke German.... Still, it gave that worldly feel that subsequent games have lacked. I wouldn't mind seeing a proper re-release of it on XBox Live with upscaled graphics or something. Now that you mention it a VF RPG sounds familiar... Hm....Kickstarter for Shenmue III?
Dalglish got a lot to spend, and his transfer record still looks iffy. Suarez is a good player but doesn't score enough really.
It would seem that way, though I think he really has to stop that. As rich as he is even his finances aren't limitless.
The FA are caught in an awkward situation because of the precedent they set with Suarez. Anyone who had an inkling of understanding for Suarez's side of the argument would expect an investigation by the FA at the very least. The FA could still excuse the Chelsea side of things by claiming their own investigation was delayed due to the criminal proceedings. Whatever happens, someone somewhere will be upset.
It is. Another example would be: suppose that Portsmouth went into liquidation, and given their troubles that may not be too far fetched. Some very rich individual decided to create a new club with finances to rival Man City's but is located away from Portsmouth, say Land's End. They see a spot in the Championship as Portsmouth no longer exist, so they apply to play in the Championship. Mind you, I can also see the argument to allow Nangers in the SPL given that it has an immediate fanbase to drive the financial side of things. That they have to start in the third tier, with no obvious challengers against Celtic, then Scottish football could be in serious decline.
"If you smell....." wait.....*cough* I'll have to result watch again then.
Probably due to the oft-mentioned need for creativity over the last few seasons. Ferguson mentioned he wanted another signing I think, will be interesting to see how he wants to evolve his squad.

Queer Eye for Tugay; Former midfielder Tugay plays a dangerous game of cat and mouse with a team of militant homosexuals. Can this weeks team catch Tugay in the allotted time and take home the prize? I see tonight at 8pm on MUTV a show called Park and Evra, I'm hoping its some sort of regional detective series starring the dynamic duo. I'm enjoying a show called When the Floodlights Fade, it has alot of ex players talking about what they are up to now. Jordi Cruyff and Massimo Taibi giving their sides of the story are very interesting.
I could swear I remember Seigfried speaking German in one of the later ones. Maybe I imagined that. Well the original Shenmue cost something $80m to make and was the most expensive game of its time so it would need to be one hell of a kickstarter. Did you never play the original? It's basically the same game gameplay-wise but for pure atmosphere I think its just about the better game. You either love it or hate it. It's one of those games.
Its not just the spending with Abramovich, he seems to keep making promises to players and staff that he has no intention of keeping. Torres and AVB complained about it, I think Scolari and Ancelotti hinted at it too, he seems to have promised Hazard he will get to play behind the striker too. His finances and credibility(if he has any) are taking huge hits from it.
I can't see the FA actually charging him but the fallout has the potential to be hilarious. Apparently Rio Ferdinand is making racist comments now too about Ashley Cole. Where's this going to end up?
Scottish football has been in serious decline for many years. This either is the catalyst for change or it turns the Scottish league into the equivilant of the league of Ireland.
Norwich have been very quiet in the transfer market. Re-signing Holt was a big deal but I haven't heard much else.

I like the idea of a detective series.
I don't recall that, but it's been a while since I've played the games. I've only ever played Shenmue II on the XBox and missed out on Shenmue. I liked the game enough to have played it more than once. Was tempted to pick up from a local store when they had it a few months back. Perhaps Sega could release it on XBox Live and try to gauge interest in the title. I read that Suzuki wants to make III and would even go as far as buying the rights to the title from Sega, and yeah, that would be one big Kickstarter.... Still, we can hope.
He's a grown man.
In the media as we discuss more racial terms. I heard an obvious one for my own ethnicity which I hadn't heard in ages, and almost forgot what it meant. Anyway....Ferdinand was apparently responding to a Twitter comment. Cole has dismissed it as being quick typing without thought. So....fingers engaged keyboard before brain was engaged. That's quicker than speaking without thinking?
I think I read that Dundee (?) has rejected a restructuring of the SPL to be two tier to accommodate an easier route for Nangers to re-enter the top flight. But yeah, I think it could make or break their game with what has happened. Moral of the story: never owe money to such things like Customs and Excise, and HMRC. You're asking for trouble if you do.
Certainly seems that way, but the market seems rather sluggish this year. Perhaps top teams are assessing the impact that FFP will have?

Unfortunately it was an interview. It could have been the best thing ever. Berbatov's outburst yesterday was interesting, about 20 minutes before I read that I was thinking I'd rather we kept Berbatov than sign RVP. He has handled the situation well for the most part but public statements are not something I like to see. Bebe is on the tour too, he is only 22 for some reason I thought he was alot older. He's only a kid so he might come good at some point.
There is a huge chance I'm misremembering the whole thing. There's been alot of talk about HD remakes on xbox live but wouldn't they be huge downloads? The graphics don't even look that dated compared to some other games. Shenmue 1 is the most unintentionally funny game you will ever play, if you play it in English, which just adds to the whole package. For some reason I had trouble getting into Shenmue 2 on xbox, possibly because it hadn't saved all those hours I spent practicing my ju-jitsu in abandoned parks. Thanks to this discussion I remembered that I bought VF5 ages ago in gamestop for like £2 as part of a pre-owned bundle thing and never played it, unfortunately I've no joystick anymore but might give it a go after I'm done with the new Ghost Recon. If I remember right CEX gave me good money for the joystick.
Is he? Do we have evidence to support that? I'm putting forward the notion that he is infact a clone with the brain of a child.
You find yourself noticing things like that more now with the focus on them or its just something you genuinely hadn't heard in a while? Will the FA investigate Ferdinand anyway? There could be yet another outcry if they don't. It seems the media are just waiting like vultures now to shout racist, because it gets them a long drawn out story that they can milk for ages. The FA's intentions may well be good but its feeding the jackals and creating a media lead witch hunt for anything even remotely racially insensitive.
I think a couple of teams rejected them and one of the Dundee's have been added to the SPL to replace Rangers. Indeed, we should start selling t-shirts with that motto on them. They probably won't be the last team with that issue this year alone. Maybe Nangers would be better off aiming for the English league, by the time they get back to the SPL what condition will it be in? Heard no Old Firm games will cost the Scottish economy £120m(not sure if thats per year) seems they will say anything to get them back in there.
Could well be and then the Euro's didn't help nor will the Olympics. Norwich have now made a bid for Robert Snodgrass. Isn't he a bit similar to Hoolihan? I've not seen either of them a great deal but they strike me as slightly similar.

Shame. They should go with the detective series. Hm...on an aside perhaps we should have Lampard and Gerrard in a Chuckle Brothers-esque show....
When Soul Calibur was re-released on XBox Live it had some graphics to fill in the sides as widescreen hadn't come into use back then. That would be fine as far as I'm concerned. I hear there's a lot to do with sailors......
I confess I hadn't considered that possibility.
Something I hadn't heard in a long time so the term had genuinely left my mind. Personally I'm not all that bothered but some might be. Which leads into the Ferdinand thing. Before long there will probably be a PFA meeting concerning language use. I think I read that Clarke Carlisle was advocating referees to help stamp out bad language use to curb bad behaviour. But then, if I recall correctly the referees already have that power to do so, but choose not to exercise that part of their powers when refereeing a game.
The situation with Nangers certainly doesn't help Scottish football, and judging by the comments today regarding TV deals....it seems it can be very costly. Still anticipate Portsmouth to go under as they seem to be dying a slow and painful death.
I'm under the impression Hoolahan plays centrally rather than on the wings now, so Snodgrass would give us options on the wings, I think.....
