Weekends are going to be a nightmare, I think Serie A starts on Friday nights then alot of Saturday and Sunday games allover Europe.

Indeed but a selfless hero who puts all others before himself and wants no publicity, back patting or money has emerged...http://www.football3...y-To-The-Rescue He even manages to give himself a pat on the back there while dodging blame. He really is a remarkable creature.

Levy is all business and I think somewhat obsessed with making a profit to the detriment of all else. You have to give him credit though for getting Modric on those wages and a 6 year deal if it's true. But Modric should really be looking at his agent.

£6m for what? It's about time FIFA did something about agents. Apparently the ones in England are more regulated, it's when dealing with foreign agents these demands emerge.

I'm sure I don't know which team you could ever be talking about, we've never chortled at anyone...*whistles*

Indeed, United are missing 14 players at the minute but some might be back when we arrive back in Europe. United just beat Shangha Shenhua 1-0 with a Kagawa goal. He was very impressive in the second half although the first half was awful. Bebe played the second half and was a giant improvement on how he played the other day, he was very impressive on the left wing and was a constant threat. He actually looked like a £7m player.

Leeds are to be paid £1m by West Yorkshie police following a recent court case.

Basically, clubs have to pay the police to police their games. Whenever you see a copper in a staduim it's because the club has paid for it. However, what our chairman has argues is that police that aren't on ground owned by the club (i.e. the matchday force that stretches all the way from town to the staduim) should not have to be compensated by the club.

This is interesting, as I've always thought that the police presence seemed a bit heavy handed on matchdays. That being said, I was quite glad of how many there were when it really kicked off v. Milwall after the 2009 playoff semi-final even if I did nearly **** myself when those horses charged.

Sir Alex admitting we are actually bidding for two players(instead of the usual "We looked at him but there's no value in the market and I'm happy with the squad" yearly statement after buying some youngsters) has confused me, these are strange days. I'm starting to get behind all this Van Persie talk, he's better than any of our current strikers but I'm still predicting he's going to City. Vidic being back in full training has got me excited for the new season along with the yearly "Will Anderson finally fulfil his potential like he keeps threatening to do or get injured and fat after two months?" question.

Is it too early to declare the league someone's to lose, Obaka? Do you have a certain date you like to bring that one out?

Which Gray is Andy's uncle, Himo? I read he was Frank Gray's son, but I don't remember Frank at all.

I can see Levy refusing to sell Modric to Real now just to spite him.

His Dad was a nobody, but his uncle was this legend, Eddie Gray.

SSN were reporting earlier that Norwich and Leeds have agreed a fee for Snodgrass and Michael Turner was at Norwich for a medical. It's all happening in the land of giant n*zi dogs(I'm going to look nuts if no one gets that reference).

Welcome to Anfield, Brendan. You've managed to make yourself look mildly clueless and utterly classless in just a couple of months, you should be worshipped as a god there now, like Rafa and Kenny before you...http://www.football3...-angers-Swansea

Ah....The Iron Gerbil. He had to stay around in the spotlight, even though what he could do is actually a nice thing. Personally of the opinion that he should have just done it and let others do the talking. As it is...well....publicity seeking it would seem.

It's a bit funny on the agent part when you think about it. On the one hand the reported wages are very modest, even low, for a player like Modric. But for the game in general it is this sort of agent who might be better for it overall. Obviously doesn't give Modric all the benefits he might feel he should get.

£6m for twiddling thumbs maybe? I hear that can be exhausting so I've decided not to do that as no-one is paying me....

Of course we don't chortle at any team or their fans here. *Ahem*

Bebe to come good this season then perhaps? How long has he been at Man Utd now? It seems to feel like a few years now.

I had noticed that about the policing situation, though the details, as always, escape me. Though it does bring up a question on my part. Why not use private security on the club's grounds? Policing of the general area is tricky, and I guess it's how the things are worded as to where responsibility lay. Wonder if this ruling will affect how other clubs and police forces will operate.

It does seem that Norwich's transfer activity has kicked up a notch the last day or so. Now wondering how our second season will go. Dreaded second season syndrome on the horizon? (Reference goes over my head as do a lot of things, I'll leave it to the others.....)

They may just learn to love Rodgers yet, Druss. Does bring up the point I believe I made earlier about his agreement not to take any players from Swansea; if someone else decides that the player is what Liverpool needs and they go through with the transfer process, does it absolve Rodgers of any responsibility?

Olympics still to have the opening ceremony, and we already have a monumental mess up with flags. This bodes really well....

Gomes has spoken out against The Iron Gerbil who always manages to alienate players seemingly with consummate ease. Whether he'll get to start the season with AVB in charge remains to be seen.

Well you could say what The Iron Gerbil is doing is a nice thing but what exactly is he doing? Phoning Kanu? There's already reports out that the players are willing to strike a deal, I don't get what being phoned by him is going to do and anouncing publicly he is going to do it is just ridiculous.

I think no agents would be better for the game over all.

Bebe has been there two or three years now. I don't think he will ever be a world beater but he might actually get to play a few games for us and we will get back some of the £7m we spent on him.

I think the agreement is with Liverpool and not Rodgers. He just came out and said that he had a gentlemans agreement and too much respect for them all that nonsense. He's just a gobsh*te. I think the key part is "Parties outside the club releasing details of the players contract" that to me screams Rodgers. I think thats part of the problem, he knows all their release clauses and contracts so Swansea don't want to be dealing with them.

Ha yeah, if there's two countries whose flags you don't want to mix up too...

I haven't seen the Gomez comments, I must hunt them for I love a good bit of Redknapp bashing...

Phoning Kanu to persuade him to do what is right. I just don't think he needs to make it public if he had Portsmouth interest in mind. But....this is The Iron Gerbil.

Scholes doesn't have an agent, correct? Generally most are money grabbers, though that is their job.

There's hope as yet then.

The funny thing is...Liverpool having to go to Swansea to get the players Rodgers feels he needs to move Liverpool in the right direction. As for release clauses....hm....how did The Iron Gerbil supposedly know what Ba's was?

The game was delayed but still....what a mistake to have made. Mind you, I recall there was one year where they fielded a Korean team.

Gomes on The Iron Gerbil. Nothing new in a sense, we've heard stories like that before but this coming from a new source.

Oh, and Capello is still angry with the FA for the whole captaincy kerfuffle.

Is it really what's right? The Portsmouth players must be as fed up as anyone with all thats gone on. I don't think The Iron Gerbil's doing anything and is trying to clear his name by association. If the club gets saved "I saved the club! Knight me!" if not "Well I tried but Kanu is just too greedy, not my fault 'guv!"

I think thats right yeah, also Valencia sacked his agent when he signed his last contract because he wants to stay at United so has no need for one. Alot of players are represented by their family too.

Indeed, it's almost like Rodgers can't attract anyone but player's he has formerly worked with or has no scouting network at all. Swansea probably feared him coming in and activating all the release clauses to take his best players with him and leave them up sh*t creek. I assume Ba's agent told Spurs when angling for a move and The Iron Gerbil then went and blurted it everywhere.

I'm vaguely remembering something like that, was it just one player from North Korea or am I mixing it up with something else?

Ah, seems to be a Spurs thing too "You're not good enough for us but we want a ridiculous fee for you." As I said, it could put some players off going there.

He doesn't hold grudges, his father bore grudges and he still hates him for it.

It seems United's pursuit of Lucas Moura is over and it's just his agent keeping things going with constant comments. Oddly his father was his agent at one point last week.

For his benefit. The gesture is supposed to be a good one (trying to help a club avoid liquidation), though his intentions are questionable. (Though most human action with respect to choice could be thought of as questionable in some context or another. Anyway....) The Iron Gerbil knows what he's doing.

Hm...didn't know that about Valencia; certainly interesting and shows his intent. Family acting as agents...makes sense. Keep the money in the family, especially if one negotiation pays a fair bit. Anelka and Onouha (?) come to mind on that front.

Would have thought Liverpool had its own scouting network in place regardless of who the manager is. Actually I'd expect that of all the big clubs to be honest. But that does sound like it's possible with respect to the release clause and Rodgers. Still funny that these are the players they seem to want to help them push the club forward though. But then...we've been raiding Leeds of late.... And can The Iron Gerbil keep a secret? You know, it's probably just as well he can't use the internet and stuff. Can you imagine him on Twitter or some other social networking thing? *Shudders*

Don't recall the details, though I do recall it was pretty much a big thing at the time for them to have done so. See, if North Korea and South Korea can put their differences aside for that occasion why couldn't the home nations have done so for the Olympics in London? Oh well....

Hm...I guess there's truth in that as well when thinking about Levy's business management. Which then makes me wonder how much influence The Iron Gerbil had on players leaving the club. Was that a defence for The Iron Gerbil?........

Don't we love agents....

Hm....FA do charge Terry over the Ferdinand incident.

His sweet honeyed words don't seem to be working too well on Kanu with what his agents been saying. £3m is alot of money to just give up, especially for a player who isn't earning top bracket money and coming to the end of his career.

Indeed, it's a strange world with agents though sometimes there's more than one and it seems to devolve into farce alot.

Liverpool not having a scouting network would explain an awful lot if you think about it. They strike me more as players that would help them stand still. I imagine most of The Iron Gerbil's tweets would be completely unintelligible anyway. Still though, that's the stuff of nightmares that is.

I think I might be mixing it up with something I saw on one of those football shows on sky many years ago, Football Mundial. Something about a mixed team but only one North Korea player was actually good enough to get in the team or something.

Considering the players that left in January seemed to go for very little I suspect it was more The Iron Gerbil than Levy making those decisions. Plus they were all players that The Iron Gerbil was refusing to play anyway.

That will be interesting to follow...

Have you tried the demo of the new PES on Xbox Live? I found it surprisingly good and wasted a good hour playing it. It was odd going back to PES for the first time in years, clunky awkward menu's, terrible music and audio, wonky presentation but very sweet gameplay. It felt like it might be a return to form and I might be tempted to pick it up.

Well....maybe The Iron Gerbil has only gotten around to talking about talking to Kanu to the press so far (er.....if that makes any sense), and has yet to actually talk to Kanu. Anyway, if The Iron Gerbil has spoken to Kanu, then he could always claimed he did what he could and still look good.

Like when former agents sue their former clients for lost earnings, and their replacement for getting the credit?

Hm...point taken. And yep, nightmares indeed. Let's not think about it too much; I still want some kip tonight.

Starting to sound like Britain's football team. Perhaps that was a precursor?

Still odd that Levy would let any player go cheaply. Oh....what you mentioned about Tottenham having a reputation about being a difficult to leave? I think Krankjaer has waded into that debate concerning Modric, and he's claimed that they do make it difficult. Chalk one up for Druss' analysis on the situation!

Indeed it will. Depends how they word it as well. Because if it's just using the words then it's a charge Terry can't deny even if he was merely repeating something (he would still have used those words).

Rarely use XBox Live (on a Silver account), but I might be tempted to hook up and download the demo. Haven't bought a footy game since the shambles that was PES 2007. Seriously, slowdown?! Music-wise....I really liked PES 2 on the PS2. Scratch that, I loved the Queen songs they used for it. The series lacked the same atmosphere after that for me. Sounds good though, I might need to make some time if not the budget for it.

Norwich have got Michael Turner as well, huh. Seems like the squad is being boosted. Hopefully he'll manage to find form with Norwich, our defence could certainly do with it.

Actually thats a good point, he's probably still yapping to the press.

Exactly like that or when deals are held up because the player is changing agents or the club want him to use a certain agent.

Team GB: Made in North Korea.

Someone else was making the same claim recently and thats what made me think it. So my analysis is alot less impressive lol. I think it might have been Giovanni Dos Santos who recently said it.

This is going to get complicated isn't it? Scousers are sharpening knives already.

I think I might possibly have one of those cards for a 3 day gold trial if you want it. I saw one recently but I've no idea where. Haven't noticed any slowdown, where did you get that one from? lol. It's kind of odd, I enjoyed it but it still has alot of the issues from going right back to the megadrive games. Like not always being given control of the right player and players you're controlling inexplicably running away from the ball at times. But it was alot of fun and worried me because I've noticed I play it exactly like I play real football. Defence is an absolute shambles and any chance to shoot from long range is taken, along with whipping in a ridiculous amount of crosses while making bizarre irrational decisions once I get into the box. There's something magical about Ozil keeping the ball away from the English midfield in it.

Indeed. Tis The Iron Gerbil after all.

I think after those comments from ex-Tottenham players I wouldn't be surprised if we hear more.

In a sense I wouldn't blame them. (Getting soft in me old age....) Though the case seems a bit more clear cut than Suarez's, at least with respect to the number of times Terry is alleged to have said something contentious. That alone should mean whatever punishment handed to Terry would be less than Suarez's.

Thanks for the offer, Druss, though I will decline. I'll wait for when it becomes available for the normal members. I did have a one-month card somewhere that Microsoft gave me when my 360 was returned after being repaired. I still have the mini-one which came with ME3 though I don't know if that will still work. Not a problem anyway. I remember the slowdown would always happen without fail when a player was coming back on the pitch. Back then I was playing off the disk though, so that might have been a factor. I didn't start installing games onto the HDD until I got a larger one later. Needless to say, that slowdown ruined the game for me a great deal and I've been put off by it since. When I do fancy a game I just go back to my PS2.

Well....looks like Wilshere will be out for a while longer. If anything Arsenal's medical team really needs a decent overhaul.

Well now Rio Ferdinand is up for doing a racism too. Fair enough I suppose. If he gets a ban we may struggle for any centrebacks to start the season, Vidic is only back in full training last week, Evans and Smalling had operations and I dunno where Phil Jones is. So a Ferdinand ban would not go too well. It's going to get awkward, I suspect that no matter what happens Liverpool will be up in arms unless Terry and Ferdinand get 8 game bans. It's illogical but when does that bother them?

No bother. Now that you mention that, I do vaguely recall slowdown when changing players but don't remember it lasting too long for me and I was off the disk back then too. It seems a pretty good game but I doubt I'll have the funding to purchase it.

Seems the theme with Arsenal, 3 weeks he will be out...no wait 5 months...he's back next month...3 months and he will be fine...he's back!!...oh injured again, 3 weeks he will be out...

Seems alot of players refusing to go on pre-season tours, RVP and Modric alledgedly started it and now there's claims Clint Dempsey is at it in an attempt to go to Liverpool.

The awkward case with Ferdinand is that he didn't actually 'say' anything that was racist, unlike Suarez and Terry; his was a reaction to something which is considered racist. I think that's a bit extreme myself. I would be very surprised if Ferdinand does get a ban. Liverpool and logic.....nope; I'm not sure if those two things go together......(true of most fanatics really.....)

It seemed to take forever when I played it. The little sign would pop up and.....everyone was running in treacle wearing wellies....slowly....and would only speed up back to normal after the player had come back on. It wasn't substitutions for me, it was the injured player coming back on the field. As such I ended up hoping I didn't get injured players, and not for just a pragmatic gaming point of view either.

The rate it seems to take them to diagnose and help players heal I'm surprised we haven't had any retirements from injury at Arsenal so far....

Either that or they just want a nice long holiday.... Seriously though, the antic is somewhat tiring and reflects badly upon the player.

Interesting to see how Carroll seems to be being treated. At first it didn't seem that Rodgers wanted him. Then it was let known that they wouldn't let him go on loan. Rodgers then thinks that Carroll is a good young player. What is a lad to think? Now we seem to have denials that West Ham have him for loan...

Also...is Aquilani one of Benitez's most wasted signings? Signed when injured, rarely got a chance to play, and sent out on loan. Or is he one of these players who never adapted to the game and life here in Britain?

True, but he did sort of repeat the phrase, as if confirming it, is confirming the word I'm looking for? It's a tad harsh but if it's zero tolerance then I can see why they are investigating it. I've not been following it much but I don't think he's actually been charged has he?

That is starting to sound familiar too actually, I think that was probably the PES that I didn't play for very long before giving up on it.

It's very strange with Arsenal. I read something ages ago about Wenger getting players cheaper because he buys them knowing they are injury prone. Doesn't explain why Wilshere is having the same issue though.

One would assume that getting fit for the start of the season would be the first major priority and going on the tour would be in the players best interests. Unless they are seriously afraid of injury scuppering their move which would be more understandable in RVP's case. But whoever gets RVP now he's not going to have played since the group stages of the Euro's.

Rodgers just loves giving soundbites, did you hear about his dossier? Carroll has now been left out of their Europa League(is that still its name?) qualifier. If West Ham get him on loan it would be worth a punt but if they spend £19m on him you have to seriously question them. Surely £19m could get you more quality and perhaps a few players.

I think a bit of both. All that cash for an injured player and then he never really got a chance when fit. I'm not sure if there was personal issues too though.

I don't recall mention of Ferdinand repeating it, though it could be argued that he approved of its use by responding with "classic". Cole moved quickly to diffuse the situation though the FA decided to step in and charge Ferdinand for bringing the game into disrepute I think it is. I can understand zero tolerance, but the use of things like Twitter and other social media outlets means that things that used to be private are now suddenly very public; which means things that may have been contentious in society though mates may go along with suddenly look a whole lot more dodgy. Wouldn't be surprised to see social media wreck havok upon people's lives in that sense where they 'accidentally' post something which has severe consequences for them.

It had Ronaldo's mug on it (PES 2008 I think). Though I'm sure in some circles that should have been some sort of omen....

That is a possibility, though it does play a role in Arsenal's inability to sustain momentum in the league. To be fair given the sort of injuries they get it's quite surprising to find them in the top four year in and year out really. As for Wilshere....maybe the injuries are starting to have an effect upon the grounds they walk.....

Yeah. Though I think the other consideration may be because the club and player expect an imminent move; so with negotiations and stuff it seems to be a bit of a hassle to have the go on tour.

Rodgers has a dossier? Sounds all very professional. Is that the same thing as his report into how he's going to make Liverpool great again? Not really sure if Carroll is worth all that much, though West Ham seem willing. Maybe they expect him to blossom there. To be fair though, isn't West Ham supposed to have a pretty decent youth academy? It seems the deal West Ham have offered is essentially a deferred transfer. Perhaps they think they can get the best out of him during that loan period and get him cheap as it were.

And Aquilani is gone it would seem.... I don't recall many personal issues being cited, but the managers certainly don't seem to give him much of a chance. Did he even get to play for Benitez much? That reminds me of Djibril Cisse when Houllier signed him; when he arrived Houllier had been shown the door and he never played for the manager who wanted him there. Awkward. Then those broken legs he suffered while being on Liverpool's books as well....

Loss to Korea anyone?

I really don't get why we sent a team to the Olympics, all it's done is undermine our individual national teams. I also don't understand why people can't seem to realise that we can have either a great league or a good national side and not both.

Seems very English that loss to South Korea, though seeing how many players were English in the Great Britain team maybe that shouldn't have been much of a surprise. Penalties as well to continue a very English tradition it would seem. Oh well......

Ahh....the Iron Gerbil is once again in the column inches of the footballing news, and of course it's to do with transfers (specifically what was supposedly promised to Modric by Levy).

England, dragging the Welsh down with them... The team didn't do that bad considering it's basically a pre-season for most of them.

I wouldn't be surprised if this is the start of a theme by The Iron Gerbil, constantly sticking his nose into Spurs business with "innocent" comments that are undermining the team or AVB. I can't recall a previous instance of an ex-manager sticking his nose into a transfer saga like that, especially the way he has done.

I think Ferdinand's tweet was him laughing, repeating it and then saying classic. The whole twitter thing is getting a bit out of hand, what about a comment that you're clearly joking about but because text can't convey your tone of voice or anything people take it serious? There should be a blanket ban on footballers tweeting. It's ridiculous.

Arsenal apparently leading the race for Nuri Sahin who's Madrid stay has been blighted by serious knee injury(s)...

The dossier and report are one and the same I think. Unless the report is something I've not heard about, the dossier is apparently something he's been building for years about style of play and character of the players that should be recruited *cough*Suarezsigningnewcontract*cough*

Ahem, I'm not sure how much Aquilani played for Benitez but I vaguely recall him playing in atleast one league cup match.

Two weeks until the season starts. I was excited until I watched the United match against Valeranga on Sunday, great to see Vidic back but Rooney and Young looked as bad as they did for the last few months of last season and the Euro's. Nani was his frustrating best too. But Welbeck played well and when Kagawa came on he showed some great link up with Nani. I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see Rooney dropped for the first game with Kagawa and Welbeck up front and Nani/Valencia on the wings. If Welbeck or Hernandez had been on goal scoring form I suspect Rooney would have been dropped last season, his general play seems to have slowed way down and he slows down the speed of our attacks or gives the ball away needlessly. He's been that way for a few months, I can't remember the last time he took on a player and ran at them either, but he still scores goals so it's possibly a fitness thing.

I'm getting tired of transfer rumours, normally I enjoy them but the advent of twitter and hearing the inner details is ruining the fun. I blame Hazard, rumours that Lucas' agent wants £6m now after Hazard's got that. Even the RVP rumours are meh.

Japan 1-0 Mexico at the minute in the Olympics, what a strike for Japan, absolute rocket. They have been quietly impressive in all the games I've seen, which is not many.

Generally it did seem that Great Britain didn't do too badly at the Olympics, and expectations were perhaps raised as a result. Unlike in the usual international tournaments the Olympics are a different kettle of fish (at least in my mind they are), and motivation is perhaps different as well. I would have expected that motivation and having home field advantage would have spurred them on a bit more to progress further.

Well, he probably has to keep his name in the papers somehow. Now....who else can he talk to at Portsmouth? Or talk about at Tottenham? Or.....

I think we've mentioned before that we would expect the use of Twitter to be banned when it comes to new contracts being signed. Certainly with the way things are going. As far as I'm aware it was pretty much Ferdinand laughing at the use. The situation is certainly different to the previous cases, and I think a journalist in one of the papers said it was a bit ridiculous for the police to have to scrutinize Twitter as some form of 'thought' police.

So....staying true to form?

That's probably what it was then. It sounds like something that can be used anywhere, at least any place that will accept Rodgers' approach to football management anyway. And...er....*ahem*

At least he got some playing time then....

Friendlies don't mean a great deal usually. So we'll have to see how things play out when the season starts properly. Rooney, to me, just doesn't seem like the player that he was expected to be when Ferguson signed him.

Well...the usual suspects it would seem when it comes to transfers. Not much new, and it seems even the supposedly signing clubs are getting fed up as well.

Bloody Japan, soon as I say they looked impressive they go and get beat. GB did ok with the team they had.

I predict he will wade into the whole Adebayor thing before too long too and maybe start revealing things about people's contracts. He undermined Spurs negotating stance completely with that last one.

I know it's only a friendly and therefore it means nothing, but what worried me was how similar both Rooney and Young were to parts of last season and the Euro's. They were just dire with very small bright patches. Remember when Rooney used to run at defenders and had a frightening mix of pace and power? When is the last time you remember him taking on a defender or out pacing anyone? I think he's a very very good striker but that's not what he was signed to be and his attempts to be more than that are detrimental to him and the team, if that makes sense. Kagawa may well be the answer to alot of those problems though. Plus if you are going to question the clubs ambition and demand £220k a week to stay then you had better be the best player in the team on a regular basis. Rooney hasn't been, thats what annoys me most, if it was anyone else I'd just put it down to poor form, but he shouldn't get that luxury with fans or management anymore.

I just read a thing on the whole Lucas thing, apparently United have had it mostly tied up for a while with just a few minor things to sort out but can't agree a fee with the agent as he's been trouble all along. Sir Alex skipped the match on Sunday to stay in Manchester and tie things up, he talked to Lucas or something and it went well. He was so confident of it on Saturday that he told his journalist mouthpiece Bob Cass the deal was more or less done. Then on Sunday PSG come in and agree to pay the £6m the agent is demanding, now PSG more or less have the deal done with fee's United won't match. If true, then that and the Hazard thing are fascinating insights into how the transfer of highly rated prospects are going now and are going to go in the future. Ridiculous fee for the player combined with massive demands for agents fees, I can't see this ending anywhere good. Football prices only go up, never down. What are agents going to demand in three years? I also see some holes in this story but I still find it hard to dismiss entirely with the way things have gone, it atleast sounds very plausible.

Should we do predictions for the new season?

Its going to take a while to get caught up on all the football of the summer, so give me some time and 411s guys :/

About GB: Did Gareth Bale play for them? How was my boy Micah Richards?

PSG seem to be all the talk this summer, and for good reason. Milan supposedly needed the money, but to sell one of their key players of the future with Silva....well I don't know how they rationalized it.

And lets go Mexico for the gold medal!

Lots of claims flying around that RVP has left Arsenal's training camp to have talks with United and could even sign tonight. I wish the bookies would give odds on tomorrow there being an anouncement that he has infact decided to stay with Arsenal.

Looks like the RVP thing will drag on by the looks of things.

Of a different sort of interest it seems that the then impending takeover of Leeds has collapsed, or at least there is no exclusivity any more. From cheery optimism earlier in the thread to....dismay perhaps?

Predictions for next season? Is it too soon for me to declare "it's theirs to lose!"?
