Why would you need to hide from Lauron?

While we are on the subject though I thought I might remind you of this...

A beautiful goal and the second goal of a hattrick he scored that day.

He was rooting for Wolves.

What is this I don't even...

Lets be 'aving ya!!!

@Lauron: Thats.....I dunno its just mental, it looks almost like one of those computer generated TV comercials at first the way the ball is moving. I've watched it like 6 times and still can't make sense of it.

Maybe you're right. Still, looked quite spectacularly senseless :P

It's a very nice match. Unpredictable how it will end. Korea dominated but now they are doing the "we don't care that much, we shall sleep" thing. But then again, the victor is qualified for the 2015 cup. It's important to win.

Something that might make Kimo happy, a deal has been struck and Suarez is leaving the Netherlands.

I wonder why I've given number 11 of my team to him

I don't believe you did. I've never really seen much of him but a couple of guys who regularly watch him tell me he is lazy and overrated. Is he worth the money?

Be interesting to see how he does, if he is a success like Van Nistlerooy or a bit of a failure like Huntelaar and Kezman. Strikers leaving the Dutch league have been a bit hit and miss this last few years especially in England.

I read it, yes.

They pretty much didn't have a choice, Suarez wanted to go and already told everyone he was going and Ajax is, like almost all clubs, and with the new rules they want to push through they need a positive cashflow

The surprise for me was that they still get 26.5 milion for him. With a bit of good negotiation Liverpool could have gotten him for a lower amount, his value dropped after his vampire accident, he is only the 4th topscorer in The Netherlands, and his value would have only decreased if he stayed any longer here..

£50m isn't bad for a player whos rarely fit and doesn't want to play for you anymore though. Seems awfully desperate by Chelsea to be making the bids this late in the transfer window too.

Maybe it's a tactic to ensure they can get Torres in the summer?

Could be but it would make more sense to unsettle him in the summer rather than doing it now and alerting other teams. Plus it sends out the message to their current strikers that management doesn't have much faith in them. It's a strange one.

True. But since it's Chelsea doing the bidding, is it Ancelotti or Abramovich wanting Torres? Could be a dodgy situation for them there.

Good point, you never know with Chelsea. I remember the Mourinho days where if the signing turned out to be good Mourinho got credit for it, if it was bad then it was an Abramovich signing regardless if he was signed before Mourinho was incharge or not.

I don't think Torres wants to leave anymore than Rooney did earlier in the season when he said he might be leaving United.

I wanted Rooney to leave he was offering us nothing on the pitch and constantly dragging the club through the mud with his antics off the pitch. God I wish he had gone. Pray you don't end up in the same situation with Torres. Torres hasn't looked right for a long time though he doesn't look as up for it as he used to.

But Torres is just starting to play well again, and he hasn't done anything too bad off the field so I really don't want to see him go. Especially not to Chelsea.

Rooney and Torres have only really shown flashes of form. By what fans of their respective teams would expect of them both have been pretty poor this season.

If the manager can keep them in line then the team might be fine; for example, how Ferguson managed to get one more season out of Ronaldo before letting him leave for Real Madrid. I'd imagine fans would hope that given Torres' apparent desire to leave that Dalglish can also keep him in line.

Having said that though I did find the Tevez situation an amusing one considering his track record.
