Bring us back presents from Denmark.

I'm off to fill in my application to replace Andy Gray on Sky Sports. I meet the recquirements of being able to talk nonesense while operating an Ipad and sexual harrassment is my specialty.

Anyone else seen Wenger call Moyes a liar? Hes a braver man than me.

Yeah I read that.....

Brewing into a nice storm isn't it? hehehe....hope Moyes and Big Dunc are not still friendly....

Oh...and would that be a pound or a kilo present? And you want brown paper round it?

Actually I was hoping for one of those Danish women from the world cup. I'm still declaring myself Danish.

I don't think Moyes even needs big Dunc. He pics some strange fights does our Arsene, hes some boy to be commenting on people complaining about other teams players too.

That be one hell of alot of goals that were scored this afternoon. Looking forward to match of the day tonight.

Liverpool fan moment of the day. Phil Thompson on Soccer Saturday while talking about Theo Walcotts first goal. Remember thats Theo Walcott. His description was "It was Andy Carroll like" thats right folks Andy Carroll has now invented heading. Watch as Andy Carroll gets slowly rewritten as the best striker in the country. Much like the myth that is Jamie Carragher.

You have to give Newcastle credit for that.

Oh, fans following their teams abroad for those European away nights and associated match types....yeah, I've always wondered what sort of jobs these people have. Maybe they're just the sort of people who got overlooked for a director box that season. Money I can see people having, but the time needed. Makes it money times two!

And phooey, Norwich lost. (Boy there's a lot to be peeved about of late.)

EDIT: What the?!? Man Utd lost as well? Crikey.

I'd a bad feeling about that game. Wolves deserved their win and we offered nothing after the first half hour. For the first 15 minutes or so it looked we were gonna win 5 or 6 nil but then just stopped playing. The United "faithful" will be out in full force with the "Sell Carrick, Sell Giggs, Sell Rooney, Sell everyone and sack Ferguson!!." just like everytime we lose. Its been a strange day.

One other point about the travelling supporters, when they appear on tv they always seem like the absolute nadir of human evolution. Which just makes it even more confusing.

Stereotyping but surely benefits don't stretch that far. I'm confused. Or are all these people secret lottery winners?

MOTD soon. A cracking day for goals that's for sure.

Thompson must have been on about the second goal. Why is the commentator going on about Carrol as if thats the reason Newcastle are 4-0 down when hes a striker and is injured anyway? Bloody match of the day grrr.

'Cause Andy Carroll is English, hence he's the bestest player in the universe and invented every way possible to score goals. Even those playing before he was born nicked his methods.

Man City may have won, but still a few points off the pace. Let's see how Man Utd and Arsenal fair in their next match.

Looking at the Championship...Swansea can overtake Norwich this afternoon. Given the fixture a draw would be good for Norwich.

You stole my breaking news you swine. Seems they are going for 3 up top with Torres, Drogba and Anelka all starting.

I hate the way football coverage here is aimed at people who don't understand football, they should really take a hint or two from the way Americans cover sport. Watching the NHL on ESPN is a world apart theres no Jamie Redknapp equivilant saying things like "He's literally burst a gut".

On the United/Arsenal thing I believe our next match is against City next week if I'm not mistaken.

Could be an interesting game, if city nick that one and the close followers get good results, really leave things wide open wouldn't it? (which for a nuetral is what we want really, obviously not if you support one of those teams).

Strong line up from Chelski too I see, 4-3-3....interesting that Luiz is not starting though.

Edit: HAHAHAHAHAHA...liverpool have gone with one up front...Kuyt pmsl......who's the Pool manager now...Benetiz or Hodgeson? ROFLMAO

How dare you!! Dalglish is bringing back the glory days!!! History!!! Shankly!! They ARE a big club!! I like how you described Kuyt as a striker that made me giggle.

Chelsea haven't got a whole lot of creativity in the team. Essien, Mikel and Lampard in midfield with 3 strikers, looks strong defensively but a wee bit unbalanced attacking. We shall see though. Torres 33/1 for the hattrick, given hes at home and has a phenomenal home scoring record I'm tempted.

If we don't step our game up we could get a hammering next week, saying that though how ambitious will City be? They tend to go for draws in big games.

I NEVER described him as a striker....I said, they are playing with one up front...Kuyt lmao...

No mention was said of him being a striker lmao XD

And who needs creativity when playing Liverpool at the mighty Anfield...when they are playing 5 at the back....that not say something?

Yet you can guarantee all the 'vocal' pool fans will be saying its masterclass tactics or some other rubish like that, just because it's King Kenny who doesn't think he can beat Chelsea either lol.

Ohh....if Liverpool lose this one, I can't wait for the fallout lol, if benitez or Hodgeson played 5 at the back with one up front at home against Chelsea, death threats would already be circulating...

LMAO I apologise for implying that you said possibly the maddest thing I've ever seen on here.

Trying out a new defensive system for only the second time when by all accounts it didn't work brilliantly last time, against a strikeforce containing not only Drogba and Torres but also Anelka, away to the league champions is obviously tactical genius lol. If they do take a beating today it will be Hodgsons fault anyway.

Ah...the glorious subject of Liverpool. (We might just use up our quota for the week on this one.) Wasn't Kuyt a striker back in Holland before Benitez bought him?

Anyway, Dalglish playing Kuyt up front...sort of reminiscent of Moyes playing Cahill up front when Everton lost all their strikers to injury. Things are so bad for Liverpool they've resorted to swiping Everton's tactics? Hmm...

Oh, I read that Benitez would like to return to Liverpool apparently. That would be...interesting to say the least.

Of course it will, Kenny knows what he is doing, naturally. He is a tactical genius and God among lesser mortal men...

and if you look at the line up...has not got a fecking clue what he is doing either lol.

Someone on Sky just suggested that Kenny has a tactical surprise in store with this line up. I think thats code for "We dunno what this is. It just looks like a random list of players."

Yeah OBaka Kuyt was a striker in Holland but he is amongst that list of players that includes Alfonso Alves, Mateja Kezman, Klaas Jan Huntelaar and a couple of others who absolutely banged them in in Holland but couldn't find the form again when they left. Now hes a strange breed of right winger, I dunno what hes supposed to do other than run around alot.

The Benitez thing I  laughed at, unemployed man wants job in place where no matter how turgid his team was he could do no wrong. The papers then act like its a huge exclusive story. I still laugh at his attempted mind games.

After looking at who the 3 centrebacks are I just went for the Torres hattrick. If I had the cash I'd have gone for Carragher to get a red too, I can see him hauling down one of those pacey forwards if they get in behind him.

Bloody hell a booking in the first minute.

SkySports live commentary...one LFC fan just wrote:

Five defenders starting for Liverpool!? I have not seen this kind of line up since the day Rafa did something like this at Portsmouth I think it was. Talk about playing for a bore draw and inviting pressure. I'm a LFC supporter, but with this line up I can only see a Chelsea victory

And some other muppet wrote:

I think the line up is as good as we could have put out, it worked out against Stoke.

PMSL...STOKE?

Gonna be a fun afternoon me thinks :)

Oh and my apologies...it's at the Bridge isn't it....so all Liverpool supportes can rejoice in Kenny being boring with his tactics.....after all, small mid table teams don't play to win away from home do they?
