Depending how he plays....I'm thinking that the partnership of Gerrard and Lampard is being recreated as Gerrard isn't available.

There was news when Diouf arrived OBaka with the Torres thing and all that, just no news in Scotchland.
I think both Lampard and Gerrard should be retired and by retired I mean shot. Wilshere looks a good prospect but unfortunately he is getting the build up before the fall as per usual. Rodwell looks a good player too but maybe a bit injury prone.

Then Diouf's arrival must have been a field day for the sports journalists in Scotland.
Wilshere has looked impressive at times this season, and hopefully with Wenger's guidance England will actually have a good decent midfield player rather than one who has been hyped as the best thing since sliced bread.
To think that Bendtner actually having something that corresponds to good advice.

I enjoy Bendtner he is living in a crazy fantasy land where hes the best player in the world. Sometimes he opens his mouth and his fantasy land collides with reality causing much comedy. I think he would be a much better player if he left Arsenal and went somewhere he was playing regularly.

Did you read that article about self-confidence that amongst footballers Bendtner had scored the highest of them all? Certainly would explain a few things.

Aye I saw that one, the highest ever recorded lol. What a guy. Just watching him in the Denmark - England game here and after he schewed a shot very wide he just strolled away chewing his gum like he was the man. I need him to score 1 now to get my bet up, 2 to double it. Not much of a crowd tonight either.

Apparently Jack Wilshere just looks right in an England shirt. I'm starting to pity him. Whats with that shirt too it looks like a vest.

Well so far, it's better than we were in the WC, but it's still hardly far from convincing imo.

Still hardly far from convincing? You trying to confuse me? lol
I haven't been paying that much attention but from what I've seen Denmark have appeared the better team. England seem more balanced without Gerrard.

Certainly not I, I'm flabbergasted.
I didn't see alot of the game from what I saw of the first half Denmark were the better team and from what I saw of the second half England were the better team. Johnson just looked awful though.

Its good entertainment though while waiting for the action to start. I'm kinda dreading it we aren't in great form, but I'm predicting a 0-0 bore draw with City happy to defend and us unable to break them down.

Those top of the table clashes tend to lead to draws. Let's see who accuses the other team of not playing football.

Aye you said it man. Usually an anti-climax especially when City are involved. The evening game Sunderland - Spurs looks like it might lead to a few goals though.

Would be nice.
Mind you, last weekend was absolutely crazy for goals.

I can't even remember most of the goals from last week there was so many.
Anyone ever met or seen any footballers in strange places? I was reminded earlier of a few years ago we had a staff lunch in work and were heading to the bar but for some reason it wasn't open yet. As we stood in the street like a pack of yobs 3 of us stood off to the side as these 2 men came walking towards us. I stared at one thinking "I know you" he was a giant beast of a man but wasn't that tall, he was ridiculously wide but not overly fat. Somewhat like a giant dwarf with a huge moustache, moving like a cat. He passes us and gives me some form of greeting and I said "Alright hi." then looked at the 2 guys standing with me and we all said in unison "Was that big Nev?" Indeed it was, big Neville Southall had just emerged from the mid morning gloom given a greeting and disapeared into the distance.

Hm...nothing comparable.
Once saw Darren Huckerby (in shades!) in Norwich city centre; my impression was 'he's not that tall'. And I think I saw Mike Walker (then Norwich manager from waaaayyy back) at Sainsbury.

In fairness it was just Neville Southall walking past saying hello, I just added the extra ambiance of the scene lol. I remember Mike Walker, Ian's dad.
Speaking of Darren Huckerby I'm reminded of the most awkward interview I've ever seen. Its just plain wrong especially near the end...oh I'll just let you watch...

My favourite bit was asking if he had a famous wife or girlfriend they could help promote. The whole interview was wrong on so many levels.
