LMAO thats the one. The reaction was just brilliant, you rarely see that kind of dedication to getting away with a handball. Normally its just screaming at the ref that it hit their chest then screaming at the linesman.

It could be the same guy who occassionally takes out Gerrard. I maintain Gerrard is the worst diver in English football. Not that he does it more than anyone else but he is just awful at it, it never even comes close to looking like a foul with him...

I must say though I'm looking forward to the West Ham match tonight with Hitzlsperger making his debut. He is like a professional version of me, complete ineptitude hidden by a ridiculously powerful shot. Anyone else have any strange appreciation for lets say less than brilliant players?

Good vid there. To be fair to Gerrard he said he didn't like other people doing it (and nothing about his own conduct). *Cough*

That does remind me of a Patrick Vieira incident though.

In my mind though Robert Pires was king though.

Haha good point OBaka, you should go into politics.

Viera really was one of the dirtiest cheats in the history of the PL, you name it and he got up to it. That video lead me to looking at the video of Roy Keane terrifying Viera in the tunnel. We went on to put 4 past them that night with O'Shea scoring the 4th an exquisite chip and one of my favourite Mikeal Silvestre moments when he headbutted Ljungberg for no apparent reason other than it was Freddie Ljungberg.

Pires was a diver of legendary proportions, everyone and their dog knew he was at it but he always got away with it somehow. I was looking for a clip of his famous dive against Portsmouth but theres suprisingly few videos of his antics on youtube.

I remember Hitzlsperger... didn't he play in Aston Villa a few years ago?

Speaking about terrible players, you'll have to look very hard to find someone worse than Ali Dia..

Aye Nattfare he started off at Villa before going back to Germany. He has one hell of a left foot on him.

Ali Dia? For some reason I'm linking that name with either Arsenal or the guy that signed for I think it was Southampton on the pretense that he was George Weah's cousin.

Yeah he was calling clubs in England trying to convince that he was George Weah's cousin and claimed that Weah said that he was just as good as him.

Ali Dia that is.

One Graeme Souness (managing Southampton at the time) fell for it... oh dear oh dear.... why am I not surprised?

Suddenly it all makes sense, like a disrobed tranny.

I thought Souness was involved but I couldn't remember him managing Southampton. Why in the hell would you hire someone based on who their cousin is? Good old Souness, he's gone on to become one of the better pundits on TV, if only because he has that air of menace and people are afraid to argue with him.

The highlights of the West Ham - Burnley FA Cup match tonight will be interesting for anyone that hasn't seen it. A goal that involved being marginally offside, one of the worst pieces control you will ever see, a goalkeeping howler, a handball and yet somehow it still wound up in the net and being given. There was also one of the best goal line clearances you will ever see.

For some reason I keep thinking about Mike Bassett after reading the comments on Ali Dia. Goodness knows why. Hm...Youtube....wait, that was Tuncay....

Oh yeah, that dive against Portsmouth is without a doubt the pinnacle of diving perfection. Not only does he dive, but he manages to kick the other player, go to ground and gets Arsenal the penalty to keep their streak intact.

Contrast that with, say, Pederson....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0I8p_CRR3Bk

Some day your gonna have to think about Harry Redknapp England manager. I'd be terrified. Tuncay? What did he do wrong?

That one dive is what alot of people think of when they think of the "invincibles". It was shocking.

LMAO at the Pederson dive, I hadn't seen that one before it was a thing of beauty you can almost just see when he decides "F*ck it I'm going down!"

I think it was Tuncay who used YouTube or FaceBook or whatnot to display his skills. It was a weird association thing; not sure what happened there.

Harry Redknapp = Mike Bassett? Interesting....oh dear. We're screwed.

Surprised you missed the Pederson dive Druss. At least with Taylor there is contact with something.

To be honest, I actually think Redknapp would do a good job....but thats my opinion.

Mike Bassett....best Norwich manager since Walker...ummm.......anway....

On Norwich, we just got Rob Edwards from Blackpool on loan for rest of season....whilst not inspiring, certainly better than his League2 MK Dons purchase.

Mike Bassett would have been more convincing if his surroundings at the time was actually Norwich.

Ah...the heady days of the Premiership when we were even top of the table. Or is that just my hazy memory?

Starting to get a bit tight at the top of the table, so let's hope we can kick on and get some more wins under our belts.

Old football hero from my country explains his dive in a national game.... he got a lot of critisism from the Swedish press after that.

Click here ....there's no point in watching the clip after the penalty.

I've always though Tuncay was a good passer and did pretty good in Middlesbrough. Not had much success in Stoke though.

Tuncay was barely used at Stoke as far as I'm concerned. And he plays well for his country which should mean he can do that at club level; though some players tend to do better for country than club. (David Healy's hat trick against Spain comes to mind.)

It's sort of tough to know what to think in the situations which you bring up Nattfare. If a trophy was a result of questionable actions...well, I'd like to think we wouldn't want to win that way. At best I'd probably feel ambivalent.

I've always liked Tuncay and when Stoke bought him thought it was a good signing. OBaka is right though he hardly ever got on.

Theres a few players that spring to mind doing better for their country than club Peter Crouch is another, he has done it for England and in the Champions League but not really in the PL. Its frightening to think David Healy is our all time leading scorer with more goals than George Best.

LMAO at the Swedish dive, I do enjoy a bit of comedy diving.

You really think Redknapp would be good for England Auto? If Gerrard and Lampard are still around its going to be 4-4-2 with them in the middle, repeat of McClaren jobs for the boys but given his luck so far Gerrard and Lampard probably be retired when he takes over. I can see him ruining someone though when he does his scapegoat act and feeds one of his own players to the media to get himself off the hook.

Doncaster have 14 players out injured for the Norwich game tonight and asked to get it postponed, Norwich said no. Be interesting if Doncaster win now lol. Might be a bit of an uproar if Norwich hammer them.
