After my genius idea for robot refs in football I believe I've come up with the perfect robo-ref. Robocops own ED-209. Think about it, him gunning down the entire wall for not retreating 10 yards, when he awards a penalty you have 20 seconds to comply and take the penalty or anyone holding up the play gets shot, if you go down claiming a freekick and roll about on the ground you've got 5 seconds to get back up or he comes and stomps on you. Its the future.
Ladies and gentlemen I give you the future of refereeing. I give you ED-209...

Why would ED-209 use Robocops phrases? The pair of you sicken me, deviants.
Anyone seen the story on Kolo Toure failing a drugs test because he took his wifes slimming pills? Makes you wonder just how easy it is to accidently take something. I mean slimming pills is obviously something he should have got checked out first but what about all the stuff being added to food?

ED-209 would be too slow around the pitch.
As for Kolo Toure...t'was a bit daft. You think he'll get fired like what Chelsea did with...Mutu? Might be interesting.

What? Robocop is even slower lol. Plus he's more of a cyborg than a robot so there might be ethical implications. Although I can see Colina being resurrected as Roboref in a Robocop homage. Its been a while since I dicussed the ethical and moral implications of introducing cyborgs to professional sport.
I can't see Toure gettin sacked if it is just a mistake with slimming pills. Mutu was on cocaine and lots of it.
Was reading about Mourinho making enemies in the Spanish press, his failure delights me to no end.

Missed a bit....
RoboRef: Part man, part machine, all ref..... As for cyborgs in sports....Speedball!
Mourinho: ah...always gets a few column inches does Mourinho. Keeps a few people in their jobs anyway.
Goal line tech: probably investigate it and ultimately reject it.
Today's result: disappointed Norwich drew, but at least we didn't lose. But boy the table looks tight.

I can't remember who it is but whoever is right behind Leeds has two games in hand if they win those then tight doesn't even describe it.
We deserved to get beat, we were worse today than we were in the second half against Chelsea. Losing to Chelsea is one thing but failing to beat midtable nothing teams is unforgivable.
Saying that though wait until you see Match of the Day and explain to me how the f*ck Carragher didn't get sent off, a knee high, studs up assault on Nani, nowhere near the ball and he only gets booked. Ray Wilkins described it as the worst one footed challenge he has seen all year and called it atrocious. Nani was stretchered off. Then moments later both Maxi and Rafael should have gone, Maxi went in on Rafael late, studs up and at thigh height, Rafael ran on and lunged in two footed on Lucas. Booking for Rafael.
When watching it keep an eye on the melee that follows, watch Rafael and Suarez. The dirty wee ****** comes up behind Rafael and starts grabbing a chunk of his hair. I suppose its a step up from cannibalism though.

That is shocking.
Personally it seems that Liverpool tends to be favoured in terms of decisions when they play another top team. I have my own suspicions as to why that is, but they do get the rub of the green a lot in those matches.
So...Carragher no longer playing at being a pro-wrestler at centre back but decided to go into MMA, huh? Can't say I'm surprised.

Did you happen to see the tackle OBaka? It was shocking to say the least, he didn't even try to play the ball and I garantee theres no calls for retrospective action against him the way there was for Rooney, despite him actually injuring someone. Its all part of the pro-scouse media agenda, thats right I'm starting a conspiracy theory.
Whats your suspicions on why they get the decisions?

I was thinking something along the lines of envelopes stuffed with....*cough* When their finances weren't so good towards the end of Rafa's reign refereeing decisions actually seemed correct.
Still to see the incident though I'll catch it tonight.
Oh, and FIFA, or more accurately Sepp Blatter, contradicts our FA concerning their inability to retrospectively punish a player using video evidence effectively putting the FA at fault for not doing something they chose not to do.
On that note: Sepp Blatter being sensible. Crikey!

Actually we are the European capital of culture or atleast the UK capital of culture, one or the other. Which is brilliant if you think about us with our paramilitary shootings, bombings, drinking and violence problems, no jobs at all, ugly women, we even sent a known murderer to represent us and can't decide what the city is called. Then think of scousers in general and you have to wonder whos making these decisions? Whoever it is has a brilliant sense of humour and I'd love to meet them.
Be interesting to see how long Nani is out for, if its any length of time then we could be screwed. If him or Giggs aren't creating chances for us then no one is, our central midfielders are offering nothing at the minute other than Anderson and hes injured.
I was reading that about Blatter but the FA are saying its a FIFA directive that they can't do it. Theres too much nonsense for people to hide behind. They should have just come out and said look he should be banned but we can't do it because we can't suddenly introduce retrospective punishment midway through a season but we will look at the rules again in the summer. Instead they hide like cowards behind policies.
