Yup he has indeedy (We can now all rejoice...well..the 5 of us that support Norwich in here lmao)
So, would seem indeed that with all the forwards coming in, he was just hedging his bets for the season run in as we do have 2 sidelined and one (up till last Saturday) misfiring...
Though still have no idea why he signed Wilbraham.....dunno...maybe he has pics of Lamberts wife or somethign....he certainly can;t have signed him for football reasons lmao...
Still...he has scored one goal....which will be the only goal he ever will score for us....so quite nice to have his auto on a football hehe

Hm...sounds like a conspiracy.....*strokes beard motion*
Well, Utd won. Nervy at the end, and Chelsea certainly didn't have the decisions going their way towards the end.

Don't you dare speak ill of my love for Big Mick, Sparroww.
Chelsea should have had a penalty no doubt. But that will learn them that they can't always rely on the ref to beat us. Torres should have been sent off, twice he dived and got caught. I thought we were much the better team and my claims of Carrick and Giggs being too lightweight in the middle were laughably inaccurate. I thought both were excellent and Carricks ball to Giggs for the opener was fantastic. We were better allover the pitch.
Did anyone see what I mean about Hernandez not being the finished product and being really below par outside the box?

Was on about Giggs' setup for the Rooney goal, guy worked his a** off tonight.
Yeah Torres blatantly dived on the edge of the box, Ferdinand and Vidic made sure to set it straight. Good result tonight, played like I thought we would. Carrick impressed me enough as well so he gets credit too for the result.
Hernandez is definitely a "rough diamond" he will only continue to improve and at the moment he seems to work better as a late sub but overall has had a decent season thus far.

Giggs was on fire. His set up to Rooney was outstanding!! Although when he kicked the corner flag we all lol'd a little
United were lucky at the end that the penalty wasnt awarded. It would have been a red no doubt if the ref got a better angle.
Also Park really put alot into it I thought. He's often overlooked, but he held up the ball nicely on several occasions and put on alot effort into his game. Really puts the pressure on Chelsea going to Old Trafford.
Barcelona 5 - 1 Shakhtar. Think we know whos through there!

I don't think Park has ever let us down. He has been a fantastic player for us over the years but never seems to get any credit as he isn't flashy and doesn't score alot.
I think Hernandez will score alot of goals and go on to be a great player but at the minute his hold up play and passing can be very sloppy. He will get better with time though. I think we miss a wee bit of hold up play and craft when Berbatov doesn't play.
Good call Captain, Shakhtar have got that one in the bag with their away goal.

Ah...the away goal.
Park is a solid player; one of the few (the only?) Far Eastern player who has done well in the Premier League. Actually, does anyone remember that they called him 'Park Ji Sung' when he first came here but later (and currently) call him 'Ji-Sung Park'? Always found that somewhat amusing myself. I know they switched around to conform to western convention but still.... (I don't think Sun Ji Hai had that switch on him.)
Shakhtar only have to beat Barcelona 4-0. Will look forward to see that.

I'm impressed with Park... seems very unappreciated though.
Joey Barton wants to play for England .....but I think he just blew his chances.

I never noticed that OBaka, the swines sneaked it past me. I remember him at the 2002 world cup doing all his fancy step overs and looking like a proper winger. I dunno what the hell he is supposed to be now and you rarely see him do any step overs but he is damn effective at whatever it is he is supposed to be doing, I think.
Theres only been a handful to have played in the PL and most have been a bit meh. Nakata did ok at Bolton I thought and that Korean lad who's there now looks a player. I always wished United had signed Nakamura, I liked him and his fancy freekicks.
I couldn't really argue with Barton in the England team. He has been on good form this season and is no worse than the other midfielders they have, I'd worry about his temperament but he is a good player. Its nice seeing someone having a go at other players, they usually won't do.

Given how things usually work out that would mean Barton has ruled himself out of the running (for expressing his opinion which no-one in football is allowed to do it would seem). He has been impressive for Newcastle, and he seems to have his temperament under control for the most part as well. Seeing how many times opposing players seemed to try and take him out of a game he has done well. Whether he's a nice person isn't really our concern.
And the over reaction to Rooney continues.

I think we're losing perspective here.

Aye that to me smacked of "I can get myself a bit of publicity here!" I want an overreaction to Torres not being sent off for two blatant dives. Dirty foreigner and all that.

Ever since he gave up drinking Barton has indeed been able to check his temperament (except once) and as OBaka says, some of the teams really have tried to make him lose his cool by tackling him at any given moment.... funny thing then how Morten Gamst Pedersen just had to say a few words to Barton to make him punch Pedersen in the chest..

I don't know but I like to think that Norway is suffering some sort of fresh fruit revolution lead by Pedersen and Riise. This is one of their propaganda videos where they encourage the "liberation" of fruit from supermarkets across Norway.

What they are saying is something like eat fruit because it makes you fresh and fit.

Aaww I was really hoping for revolution. Aw well now that I'm on youtube theres only one video to see and its not this....

He should have done the backflip before the penalty, that would have confused the keeper more.

Posté 07 avril 2011 - 09:12
It would have been brilliant if he missed the ball entirely then landed ontop of it, thus taking the penalty and making an utter dick out of himself.

Liked the vids; interesting stuff.
As for the fruit revolution...whatever happened to the half time orange? Players should have them on the pitch for all to see to help people have their five-a-day. After all, what players do fans and young children will copy, right? After all, we now expect kids to start swearing because Rooney does....
