I'd expect Man Utd to progress myself, but we'll have to see how that goes. Maybe there'll be a game I can actually catch for a change. I might even put some time aside and try to watch one of the games rather than just catch the highlights.

I think we can beat anyone on our day but anything can happen over two legs and I wouldn't be putting any money on United just yet.
I'm loving Chelsea falling apart, if they sack Ancelotti a year after winning the double it will just prove that Abramovich is as clueless as he appears.

Man United will face Schalke 04, thoughts?
I think they do at least.
They did very poor in the league this year, sure, but they are in the cup finals (They have beaten Bayern München on the way to it, and will likely win the finals, they'll face Duisburg, a 2nd division club...).
They got quite a few somewhat known and good players, Raul, Jefferson Farfan, Manuel Neuer (one of the best goalkeepers), or former Real defender Christoph Metzelder.
That said, my bet is on ManU, but don't underestimate them, either, like Inter did twice. You don't get into the half finals of the Champions League if you can't play.

well, what is this chelsea flower show you speak of? i laughed at that line about terry being chelsea, and i don't even know why its funny, it just is!
well, abrahmovic should hire me and fly me over to be an assistant. i don't have a clue on how to coach a football team, but i would motivate the team and of course, give the players pats on the but and kisses on the cheek, maradona style! of course, that offer extends to any club around the world, but results may vary XD

Chelsea is an area of London that puts on a big flower show every year. Its quite popular I'm lead to believe.

I had to share this as it brought me joy and I'm a sharer of joy. If you touch it without asking I'll cut you though...just saying..... Anyway its a tabloid journalist being taken to task on "national tv" (Chelsea's tv channel I think) for making stuff up and printing it as a story. Mysterious sources yay....
I like this Gigi Salmon... "Is it a flip flop?" rofl

if they sack ancelotti, well, then chelsea don't know what they are doing. they then have to deal with finding a new manager, which in itself can be a headache. ancelotti will be fine though, cause he is a good manager. now, who is playing today?!

They already need to rebuild their squad as alot of them are aging and they don't seem to fit too well together in alot of formations. Doing that and hiring a new manager is going to take alot of adjustment, will a new manager be given the time to adjust to it?
FA Cup semi finals are starting tonight and Norwich are back into second for a few more hours atleast.

they do need to begin rebuilding their squad, it will be interesting to see what direction they take with the team. you know what they should do, start bringing in some young talent. like you said, they are aging, so that needs to be addressed.
ohh, just saw the line up, they are showing west brom-chelsea right now and later man city and man u. is that the match where the teams and the fans will be travelling to london to play?!

We don't get live Saturday 3pm games in the UK anymore. I used to get them on Irish tv but that no longer happens. If you want to see them you have to find a bar showing the one you want or wait for the highlights.
Thats the one, two sets of fans going the whole way from Manchester to London. I don't see the point of having semi-finals at Wembley. Neutral venue or two legged would be better in my opinion.

Any witness the end of the Arsenal - Liverpool match? It was hilarious 96 minutes of nothing at all happening then suddenly two penalties and Wenger going mental despite it being a clear penalty. It was the best comedy I've seen all weekend.

Scholes...he a nutter...has been for years lol, had he not been at united, you could double that red card count I think.
Liverpool Arsenal...hmm......9 minutes injury time? Well...debatable......another 3 minutes for Liverpool to equalise...even more debatable.

And yes, Scholes is a nutter but that is old news.
Man United will bounce back from that loss though... too bad it is gonna be against Newcastle..

Why is there so much hype about Balotelli? Every time I've seen him he has been disinterested and awful, the times he is interested he gets himself sent off.
I read a rumour this morning that United are interested in signing Forlan again, complete lies I'd say but it made me smile anyway. I'd love to see him given another go and retire a legend here.

We all know Balotelli has problems with those training vests, perhaps he asked Ferdinand to help him to take his shirt off and Ferdinand took it the wrong way?

That explains the wink.
I think the guy's terrible personally on and off the pitch, and City would be smart to let him return to Italy in the summer transfer.

Apparently he went over to the United fans and started waving the badge on his shirt at them. Ofcourse nothing will happen to him over it. If it was Rooney that did it however....
Something that annoyed the hell out of me yesterday while watching the match was the constant close ups of Rooney sat on the bench. He isn't playing, no one needs to see him and he has nothing at all to do with the match!!!
Its almost as annoying as those stupid slow motion replays they show mostly during the world cup, stuff like Zidane spitting, Ozil adjusting his shorts, Modric looking at someones wife in a funny manner, its a complete nonesense and does my head in.
