Well I saw on another site where someone said that Ramos was going to Sunderland next season so it wouldn't happen again.

Norwich are throwing it away. They are in need of another late winner. But thanks to Crom Leeds are getting beat!

Oohh Natt's got the claws out lmao.

Ramos is that wonderful breed of player, a centreback who can't be trusted there so gets shunted out to rightback most of the time.

I'd take that finish right now with Forest winning the playoffs. Something tells me that if Cardiff come up they will be doing that whole in your face Welsh thing that seems to have got popular this last few years. Plus they strike me as dodgy with their signing players while not paying for players they have already bought.

You not noticed it recently with alot of Welsh comedians and Welsh people on TV the main theme of what they talk about is being Welsh like its some sort of badge of honour? I predict Cardiff coming up will trigger an abundance of "We're Welsh and we're in the premier league!" and going on and on about being Welsh. Maybe I watch too much Rob Bryden....

Sky are showing the Championship goals already.

I'm hoping for a Man City win tonight, keep Spurs out of the Champions League to make it easier for us to sign Modric in the summer. You know it makes sense ;)

auto, i will be checking to see if the iplayer lets you watch the highlights. some stuff they do let you see, and other stuff they don't. (hopefully they do)

you know, i was reading an article about schalke, and it seems they have nothing to lose. if they go relaxed and confident, then who knows what can happen. personally just hoping for a good game. druss, you are right about mourinho...not the most exciting. it will be a very closed match probably, with neither team wanting to give up a goal. they were saying guardiola might leave after 2012. imagine he decided to go even if they win la liga. those fans would be so angry! lol.

ok ok, so i was eating lunch just now, when it completely hit me. it was like an epiphany. i know why arsenal are not playing as well as they could be! its because they are too young! they have quite a few young players that could be stars, but they need some older guys to lead them to that confidence, to think decisively. i was watching seedorf play, and man, i was completely blown away. he is not the fastest on the pitch, but his thinking is 2-3 passes in the future. he sees the whole game, and he knows where to distribute it. if he gets the ball and a defender gets on to press him, its not time to panic and pass it to your closest team mate, but to see, ok, where should the ball go. arsenal don't have that guy. cesc is incredibly talented, but he doesn't strike me as a leader just yet. on man u, ferdinand is a leader....you know he is going to get in your face if you wrong him or his team mate. while that can get you in trouble, its invaluable to the team to have someone like that. some one who steps up and leads the team (and you don't need an armband for that)

in that milan match, seedorf absolutely shone above his team mates, such a clear idea of what he wanted to do with the ball. also, i was blown away by how ordinary milan looked, and they are the best in italy.

also, if mr. wenger hires me (lol), i would tell him to really go and try to get howard this summer.

and now for an article about one of favourite footballers XD .... http://bit.ly/g0LbaU   shame they took off all the tasty pictures of his girlfriends though!

Hm...really not sure what to make of Balotelli after that with respect to finances. Interesting attitude to say the least.

Championship table is looking interesting; and another late win for Norwich. I'm starting to think that being of a weak disposition is not good if supporting Norwich this season.

Arsenal haven't had a seasoned veteran since...William Gallas left? Does Silverstre count by the way? Definitely need some old heads there to steady the ship. I'd guess that's one of the reasons why Ferguson has a few veterans in the squad; to slowly ease the youngsters into the first team rather than a baptism by fire approach.

Arsenal have not really been the same and have lacked leadership since Viera left...

As for Norwich, you nailed it there OBaka....I almost had a coronary listening to the game....but...we still second....2 games to go....

@Modjo...if Iplayer doesnt let you, check out the skysports site, you should be able to watch any of their videos...

Arsenal have problems in both boxes but Wenger will most likely sign an injury prone centreback or a 5'4'' attacking midfielder. They aren't even a bad team, far from it. But they seem utterly unable to play any other way than the way they do, if it doesn't work theres no plan B. I think its about time Wenger spent some real money. Silvestre does count, he has counted as the greatest man alive ever since that night he headbutted Ljungberg. Which is coincidently the night it started to all go wrong for Arsenal, when Keane scared the sh*t out of Viera.

Balotelli clearly has mental problems and he shouldn't be a professional footballer. The commentators said tonight at one point...

"Its around the time Mancini needs to think about taking him off before he gets sent off."
"Yeah he is getting a bit frustrated now and could become a liability." Paraphrased there obviously.

I don't think you should be a professional footballer if you can't be trusted to stay on the pitch for a minimum of 90 minutes when fully fit. Same reason I think Scholes should either retire or be released from the club. Great player but if you can't be trusted to do your job then why are you being paid millions?

Makes good sense if'n you ask me too (which no-one did....). In any other job you'd probably be sacked at some point.

Didn't know Silvestre headbutted Ljungberg. But it seems with the break up of 'the Invincibles' they no longer have the presence on the pitch. Back then they had 6 foot plus players who could not only play some fantastic football but also tough it out due to their size (or at least seem to be able to tough it out). Now they have a team of talented players without the physical presence. Their conceding goals from set pieces isn't just a lack of concentration I think.

In English football, Giggs is much admired for his ability and his longevity. Maldini by reputation is admirable for only having played for Milan (at least I think that's right). Don't think we'll see many players of that type in the modern game now.

Maybe incredibly talented players, already at a top club, possible, but as you say Obaka, unlikely in todays world I think.

Theres only a handful of those players now, I don't expect there to be many more of them in the future.

I remember reading that Arsenal don't actually practice corners or set pieces in training. Don't know how true it is but it would explain alot.

Three hours til the first champions league semi final I'm feeling the nerves.

Looks like it's still a draw at half-time. (Could have sworn SkySports News used to be on Freeview...)

If indeed Arsenal don't practice corners and set pieces during training then they have no-one to blame but themselves. Well...maybe Wenger and the coaches.

They would never do that, it is always someone else's fault. The referee, the opponents, the tea lady, George Bush, they always blame someone else.... even a lot of the fans blames everything on everyone except their own team.

I think thats part of Arsenals problem, Wenger won't blame his players for anything he always produces an excuse for them. I hope some day he blames space bats, it would make my year.

Sky Sports News used to be on freeview but as part of sky's attempts to make people pay for things they moved Soccer Saturday to SSN then took SSN off freeview. The swines.

Not been on freeview for almost 6 months now OBaka..... :(

Worst thing is....for a week afterwards....they kept the Soccer Saturday live video feed from 3-5 on the website, as part of the score centre......

Then that went, all you can get is the audio now......so when I logged into the site a couple of days ago, and was presented with a questionairre about the 'new look' site, guess what I complained about? rofl.
