Soccer Saturday is really annoying to watch, the constant shouting over people is just ignorant. They could just raise their hand or politely say "Goal Jeff" instead of screaming over whoever is talking. Its most uncivilised. Its not the same without the air of mystery George Best brought too, is he drunk? Is he sober? Who knows?

Thats a rare example of a match where you can actually feel disapointed that it was only 2-0. Great performance and we could have had the tie dead and buried in the first half. Our best away performance of the season.

Yeah should've been 2 or 3-0 by the first half definitely, overall could've been 5-0 by the end of the night. Next game should be a formality if we play like that again.

As for Sky Sports News, I stopped watching it for the sport ages ago....

Quite the performance from Neuer in the Schalke goal to be fair. Big two weeks for us and this sets us up nicely. Beating Arsenal on Sunday or atleast getting a draw at the Emirates and we are on track.

It could well be a two horse race with Chelsea unlikely to relent, a win at Arsenal would be crucial and of course we have to play Chelsea ourselves, after that is it Blackpool and Blackburn left?

As a bonus it'd be a miracle if the seasiders somehow survive this season, Holloway has added a comedic charm to the MOTD highlights which would be lost if they went back to the Championship but a guy can dream eh.

Yeah but the other way around Blackburn first the Blackpool on the last day of the season. Chelsea have to play Spurs this weekend so they haven't got the easiest of matches either.

Modjo, we had a terrific start in the first 20 minutes or so and by rights should've scored a couple then. Schalke's goalkeeper did well to keep the ball saved from our attempts especially throughout the first half.

The Hernandez goal was a bit unlucky as I personally reckon that on a good day the linesman would've missed it and it would count, it was tight so atm not sure if it was definitely offside or not, might give it another watch.

If anything the first half was even more of a battering than the second half was we opened them up at will and only Neuer and some missing of the target kept them in it. I think the way I'd describe the performance is that they were so bad and we were so good that a 2-0 win could be considered disapointing.

Hernandez offside goal cost me £35 the gits, well it cost me £5 but I'd have won £35 had it been allowed. I might sue the linesman for £35 and mental injuries.

That picture seems to be saying "We're going down but I'm still sexy, get the kettle on luv" in a thick Yorkshire accent ofcourse.

Mourinho's comments are tiresome he can lie and say whatever he wants, theres rarely a grain of truth in what he says but people just lap it up like he is some sort of savant who can't possibly be wrong.

Be interesting to see how fiery the Barcelona/Real matches will be after those comments by Mourinho. All I'll say is..."Bundle!" Might even try and watch the match.

Looking at the Championship table things are tight after QPR; but my is it interesting. We're above Ipswich...I'm happy enough.

I've it on in the background just kinda waiting on violence to errupt and keeping an eye on financial interests. From the brief glimpses I've seen it appears Barca are on top in the early stages.

Watford and Leeds are games QPR should win or at least 2 draws would be enough at least, on the other end who's going to clinch the 6th place? Could see Millwall make a quick surge and knock Forest off by superior goal difference.

Or well at least that's what Millwall fans think anyway lol.

Leeds are nothing. When the seagull's follow the trawler it is because they think it will throw sardines into the sea. Oddly my Leeds supporting mate has been avoiding the subject for the last week or so....

This game is a joke, Mourinho is a joke Madrid haven't had a clue and any big team playing like this is utterly disgusting. Barca are almost as bad sinking to that level. To hell with Spain if this is the best they can offer then I'd sooner watch the Scottish Premier League.

How can Andy Townsend say thats not a red? It was studs up and high like Scholes in the semi final a couple of weeks ago. If the ref thinks its a red then you really can't argue.

Spanish football is the most overrated in Europe. Didn't see the old firm game the last few I've seen were awful to watch for the neutral.
