Ugh this match is a shambles, sorry it's gotta be said if this is an 'El Clasico' I'm seriously hoping we don't get shenanigans like this if United have to play one of these teams in the final.

We will be subjected the Mourinho stream of bullsh*t after the match too, it won't end with this shambles.

Crikey...they were trying to score goals in this game? Would never have guessed given how things were going.

I don't think they were trying to, it just kind of happened OBaka. Adebayor is very lucky not to get a red card there.

Apparently UEFA have insisted both teams be locked in their dressing rooms and no one is allowed to give any reaction to the match from either side. Maybe they are sick of listening to Mourinho too.

*Heh* Maybe the FA could do something similar with certain managers in the Premiership.

Wey hey now Barca are going to sue Mourinho for his comments and yet more lies. Why can't UEFA ban him for this behavior? Its not the first time he has used outright lies to bring the game into disrepute. Last nights game should be the biggest indicator yet that he is a cancer growing on the sport of football. He can't be allowed to say whatever he likes when other managers get banned for questioning questionable decisions.
I think the first four articles in this sum up his hypocrisy quite nicely...

If Mourinho does get a punishment of some sort I couldn't see it lasting all that long and especially during the summer when most Leagues have finished and he'll find his way to another club, that's how I'd initially envision it.
This is football, stuff that makes sense doesn't tend to happen I'm afraid. It also makes the talk about him possibly returning to an English club more 'interesting' also.

I think the only fitting punishment for Mourinho's years of abuse of power is a lifetime ban. Simple as that. Anders Frisk had to retire because of Mourinho's lies and Mourinho should be held accountable for that and countless other lies and similar offences over the years.
Although if I was incharge of UEFA I'd just have him skinned alive for subjecting the world to years of boring football. Harsh but they would have known my mandate before electing me.
On a side note has anyone bought this years Football Manager? I'm tempted to buy it to releave my boredom but if its identical again I'm not sure if I'll bother. Are there many improvements?

In the balance of power I wonder if Blatter would trump Platini. I recall that Blatter supports Real. I'll leave it there otherwise we'll descend into politics.
Also...it seems very much dependent on who is in the office that day concerning whether the game has been brought into disrepute (at least with the FA anyway); so one might wonder if UEFA has a similar issue.
As for Football Manager...can't help you on that one, Druss. Though apparently it's a decent improvement.

Haha I saw that earlier. What if he grows up not liking football? He is also quite impressive if he can sign a contract at 1 and a half.
I think Platini has more power over the champions league because its a UEFA competition but I've no idea, thats just my assumption.
UEFA are taking disciplinary action against Real and Barca over last night. What I don't get is Real Madrid, while I have no love for them at all and find them reprehensible they do claim they are a gentlemans club. So why are they letting him do this? He is dragging them through the mud and making them look small time. He has been doing it for years and they knew what was going to happen, were they really that desperate to win? With the amount they spunk on players it was only a matter of time anyway. Plus he is doing all this while looking like he isn't going to win the league or champions league despite having the most expensive team in the world.

There isn't that much of a big difference between them really, I got it because I couldn't play 2010 anymore. After a crash the game then just kept crashing when I loaded a savegame or when I started a new game, even reinstalling the game didn't help anything.
The things I have noticed: The players can have agents and negotiations doesn't take days to get through.
If the player/coach or his agent isn't happy with the offer you make he will instantly put up a new demand or just leave the negotiations if you make very little progress in it. If he is happy with the offer it will still take a couple of days for him to accept (they can decide not to accept anyway though but that has been rare for me).
You now have to train the team on the tactics and styles you want to use, you can train them on three different tactics at a time.
You can also put players on individual training on certain skills (like passing, shooting pace etc) if you think they need to improve on something.
Slightly improved match engine.
Sure the game is slighly better than the old one but there aren't any dramatic improvements in my opinion.

Sounds like the norm for an established game series then. I'm tempted to pick it up again (it's been years since I last got into it and a crash prevented me progressing any further).
The insinuation that there is a conspiracy against Real...hm...I am reading about something called Critical Race Theory at the moment and...'conspiracy' might be the wrong word.
Not sure if Real are that bothered about Mourinho's antics. I'm guessing some might say that it's actually a good fit seeing how Real have apparently conducted business in the past. Though even that might actually be preferable to how some others conduct their business through the media. I'm not thinking of anyone in particular, honest Guv! *Cough*
Well, looking forward to the rest of the football left this season. What I would like to see: Stoke to win the FA Cup!

I shall hopefully pick it up next week. I've been in two minds since it came out as I suffered FM burnout last year. I tend to take a team like Sunderland or Blackburn and take them to the pinnacle of European football. First season is always a slog but then the scouting, the bargains, the heroes and the drama ensue over the next 5 or 6 seasons before my squad is so good that I rarely lose and it gets boring. Me team with Sunderland last year was ridiculously good in the end up.
Would love to see Stoke lift the cup for obviously biased reasons.
Barca's press conference is going on now so should find out soon what kind of legal action they are taking.

Football Manager now there's a game I haven't played in a while, last memory I have of it was '03 (or was it '04) and me and a mate were trying to get Bolton in the Champions League after the 1st season. Ended up in relegation battles for 3 seasons and got fed up with it and moved back to playing Fifa and Pro Evo.
Stoke in some way deserve to lift the trophy over Man City and should be a reality check for them in regards to the money they've spent in the past year, and of course it rubs it in City's face while we hopefully clinch a satisfying double in May.

P.S Nattfare those lyrics are quite haunting having listened to that song lol

That is always a problem with FM I think Druss, bu staying at the top can be fun.
after a while it does get boring though, why i usually play the LLM games...I can send you the update for down to tier 10 of the English leagues (or give you link of where to get it) my last game was playing as Leigh Genesis hehe...after 5 years had just got them into the Conference lol....

I could never bring myself to start lower than the PL. I like the challenge of taking also rans to the top but by the time you get there with lower league teams you won't even know who half the players are.
My highlight last year was getting Yoann Gourcouff on a free transfer to Sunderland. Had a midfield of Sandro, Hamsik, Hazard and Gourcouff with Rodwell and a few others on the bench. Strike force of Neymar, Lukaku, Hulk and Gignac with some youngsters coming through aswell. Had the perfect mixture of creativity, speed, power, height and physicality.

I usually start as unemployed (usually as Irish for some reason), it takes at least one season to get a job if your experience is non-league footballer.
Got the job at Cowdenbeath that got relegated to the Scottish second division.
Think I kept four players in the squad the rest were dropped.
Won the division got a good team together but they always underperformed in the first division.
New owners wanted the club and they wanted to replace me for a Scotsman instead, since the team refused to win under me I decided to quit Cowdenbeath.... I figured with my good reputation I would be able to get to a better club.... a year later I ended up in Bray Wanderers in the Irish division one...
It's a good song though.
