A damn.. 2-2... it wasn't even a chance and still he scored.. great goal though...

And that ref should do something against the fouls by Inter... its getting really out of hand..

I just saw the scores when it was 2-1 I was hoping they would hang on.

Did anyone see Valencia's ankle/foot in the Man United - Rangers match? I made the mistake of rewinding the TV to look at it. It was sick looking his foot was just dangling there.

I saw it after the Twente match, and that did not look healthy... he broke a joint in his ankle

Twente probably played their best first half ever, beautiful match to watch, to bad Eto'o scored the 2-2, they played really good and hold on strong in the 2nd half

Aye he could be out for the season. Bit of a problem for us as he is easily our best winger he has been a fantastic signing.

2-2 with Inter is still a good result. Shame they couldn't hold on but maybe that point will make all the difference at the end of the group stage.

Clearly you have not seen the mercurial talent that is Darron Gibson. He can shoot from 30 yards and sometimes hit the target, he can...he can...damn I'm out.

If we were talking about this season so far we ain't seen much of Gibson although I'm sure we will, but Wilshere has been outstanding this year. I can't wait until Ramsey comes back either hopefully he hasn't lost the talent he had before the horror injury.

Ooohh rocket! Have you tried the Fifa 11 demo? I dunno if I'm just not playing it right but its horribly annoying and feels like the cpu is cheating. Xavi and Kaka have the magical power to hit the last defender with every through pass no matter where you aim it they will hit that defender. CPU can at any moment decide to charge right through the middle of your defence and you can't tackle it while your team mates all run out of the way. Ronaldo and Messi seem to be girly men who lose the ball and stumble when a player comes within 5 feet of them. Penalties are random with no way of controlling them, I managed to get one out of about 75 to go along the ground. My favourite bit is that when the CPU has control of him Sammi Hyppia is the fastest player in the world it seems.

Is it just me or is it taking the ******?

Yeah, the demo seemed a bit off. I was playing on the second difficulty and found it very difficult at times to win games (yet sometimes I absolutely killed the CPU). Several games I played were 0-0 draws decided by PKs, and like you said, the PKs are random as hell.

I didn't buy last years purely on the strength of the demo. It felt like controlling a bunch of drunks playing in the mud.

Having said that I played the Fifa 11 demo again today and it felt alot better. I only managed to score one goal in four games but it was an absolute ****** from Van Persie from about 35 yards. It still feels I dunno...not right though. Time will tell I suppose. I have had 70% possession in alot of games but can't seem to get chances. I play it on expert because its just how I roll.

Did you come across the problem were the CPU just decides its going to score and theres not a damn thing you can do about it? It will cut through you like butter and nothing you try can stop it. It feels no pity, no pain, it can't be reasoned with....

I did notice a hilarious problem where if you slide tackle and get the ball if your follow through catches one of your own players who was chasing the guy that was in possession and trips him then the other team get a freekick or penalty. I thought I was mistaken the first time it happened but I've done it a couple of times now.

Yeah, when the CPU wants to score its gonna score. And any attempt to stop the CPU player results in a yellow card, even on perfectly fair tackles. I haven't tackled any of my own guys before though, so I haven't seen the other problem.

Well halfing people is my tactic for when the CPU does that "I have decided to score. Step aside mortal" thing. It doesn't always work but I just start throwing my players at whoever has the ball hoping to either win it or foul them and hopefully stop the nonesense. Its while doing that I've noticed the fouling my own player thing. It doesn't give the free kick right away and doesn't say its playing advantage but as soon as your guy goes down it blows for the freekick.

Anyone remember the keeper who thought he saved a penalty and ran off celebrating as it rolled into the net? Well he is back or was back....

In all reality, that should have been the defender's ball. When you've got a guy right on your ass you don't give the ball to your keeper who's standing right next to you. Then again, if the keeper had just cleared it instead of trying to control it first the striker wouldn't have scored either...

Either way its funny because it terrible.

Lol yeah the disaster was started by the defender and compounded by the keeper. The funniest bit was when he literally ran away.

This!
And she might have felt a tickle and would give the guy her personal "red card" after the match!
