how were the football matches? unfortunately did not get to see too many, but did get to see liverpool tottenham. pretty entertaining match actually.
hmm, and about salaries getting out of hand, it really does seem that way. signing kids when they are toddlers, paying ridiculous salaries....it is becoming more and more about the money and business then about football. thats why there is such pressure to get results. don't get me wrong, winning is important, but there is more to football (and life) then results and money.
and sparrow, as auto was telling us earlier, we won the milk cup in 1985 if i'm not mistaken! ahhh, what a great year that was! the air was fresher, water purer, music sweeter! lol, of course i wasn't born yet, but it seems like it really was a great year. and don't peg norwich that low juuust yet. its the premiership, yes, and it is very tough, but its not impossible. if norwich play well and play smart, they could end up somewhere in the 10 to 15 spots. now, where is that '85 chardonnay?
