I'd gladly give away Alan Smith, Shola Ameobi, James Perch and Sol Campbell in one package.

We still have Alan Smith? I thought he just dissolved away in the changing rooms...

Unfortunetly he still has a year left on his contract.... they say he is good for the morale.... £60k per week is quite a hefty sum for a cheerleader though...

I never liked Smith, even when he played for us. I could never figure out what he was supposed to do.
Giggs has been revealed by an MP as the footballer with the injunction against the papers to stop them revealing he is knobbing some strumpet. A few days before the Champions League final, good timing there. I'd like to know more about this MP and who if anyone he supports...

I think that applies equally well right across the board, Auto. Sort of reminds me of a Mad magazine thing: 'my team has veterans; your team has a bunch of has-beens'.

You will take what your given and next season you midfield will consist of Smudger, Gibson and Scholes(until sent off).....Actually I don't think I could do that to anyone. Except maybe Liverpool or Chelsea.
Harry Redknapp when asked about the Chelsea job. Does he deny interest? Does he declare his loyalty to Spurs? Does he say he has a job to finish after a poor season? No he just talks about how well he has done thus hinting he is a good manager and a good choice for the job...
http://www.football3...6947544,00.html Getting a decent manager would be the best bit of business Spurs do all summer.

Scholes, huh? Actually, I wonder whether he will retire at the end of the season. He was never particularly good in the tackle (to be generous), but seems to have gotten worse on that front in recent years.
As for Redknapp...it's pretty much what we'd expect of him really. Nice to know he thinks that this was Spurs best ever season...if that makes any sense league position-wise. Also http://msn.football3...6946821,00.html is a nice read about 'Arry; second section in I believe.

Apparently United have signed De Gea and will anounce it next week after the CL final is out of the way and VDS has retired. Saw a rumour that Norwich are after Ritchie De Laet too, I wondered what happened to him, he always looked a decent prospect when he played for us.
West Ham are going to have to flog all their best players, you know the ones so good they got relegated a week before everyone else? So who is going to want that rebuilding job? It seems more hassle than its worth to me because I'm willing to bet they still expect to go straight back up.
Redknapp is on SSN every day now bleating about something else. Either tapping up Parker, boasting about how great a manager he is and how well he has done at Spurs(despite saying they could win the league on more than one occassion this season.) or slagging off his own players again to deflect attention away from himself. He turned on Defoe's comments about the UEFA Cup giving him a right slagging to deflect questions about not qualifying for the CL.

Still in your reserves isn't he after being loaned out to Pompey back end of the season?

Had the displeasure of working in the city centre yesterday, where Man City had their FA Cup bus parade through the streets ugh.
Luckily when there would be 4 City fans chanting throughout the day, 10 United fans would suddenly appear like ninjas and chant louder to drown the noise of the scum. Was quite funny.

Not sure. I watched our reserves a few weeks ago on MUTV and he wasn't there, reserves tend to come and go without much notice at United this last couple of years. I though De Laet was one of the ones with a future at Old Trafford, he played looked good going forward aswell as defending and could play anywhere across the back four. Bargain at £2m if its true.
Incidently MUTV is where I heard the Lambert to West Ham thing last monday night on the United in Press show now that I think about it.
@ Sparroww: Noisey neighbours eh? I saw it on SSN last night while channel hopping, I thought someone had won the Champions League or World Cup the way they were going on. Turns out it was just the FA Cup and City getting a bit carried away. Its like your mate getting all excited going on and on about this woman he has pulled and how great she is, but everyone else can see she is a 6 at best and has the personality of a spud.

With this £37m to spend I'd expect there will be alot of players with notes about Norwich interest come the end of the summer.
Edit: I seem to be losing the ability to communicate in English. My grasp of the language is getting worse it seems. Incase it goes completely just interpret most of my posts as hate Redknapp(s), Gerrard, Terry, Chelsea, Liverpool, Mourinho and LI's. Love United and naked ladies. Confused by the Giggs allegations. Ambivalent towards Claudio Ranieri.

Still seems funny to me, was only last week they were saying he isn't getting it lol....
Still...if Lambert can pull of 3 or 4 deals like Ritchie...for a couple of mill each....that won't be too bad...and would impress me with their intention.

There will most likely be loan deals from United and Arsenal on the table too. Norwich seem to have a good history of getting loans from Arsenal especially. Man City will probably be looking to shunt a few squad players out the door too. Theres deals to be had I reckon.

I'd be happy with getting Lansbury again if he available for sure...
But yeah...could be some interesting deals done.

We can look forward to when Casillas or Valdez retires and he suddenly remembers he always wanted to play for Real or Barca if he does do well.

Or maybe it's a boyhood dream he hasn't told everyone about yet.
