I look forward to next years contribution. I'd like more innuendo though.
Pelvic thrusting is your job!
I'll contribute next year, if someone organizes a pool for the European cup![]()
Hhmmm perhaps the pool won't work as well if our South American participants aren't as interested. We should rename a team Brazil in order to fool Rage into organising it.

Good game overall methinks. Shame Man Utd couldn't have done more, but they were certainly frustrated during the last quarter or so of the match. It did seem that most decisions went Barcelona's way during that time. Will wonder what a certain manager would think of that...

Also a round of applause for van der Sar. Truly a legendary GK signing off.

Utd. had a goal validated when the play had a clear offside participant. Valencia or whatever his name, deserved some 3 yellow cards on the first half and got none. Daniel Alves got one on his first foul! The ref did a good job even with Utd goal because it was a close call to the assistant and in doubt, pro attack.
And Barca plays something wonderful. If the score had been 6x1 it would be fair as much as 3x1!

Well, you could have a nice squad with the Brazilian Boys that are playing in Europe these days, couldn't you? Although I don't know most of them. They are leaving Brazil too soon, under aged and without showing us here what they can do. Who is that Fabio guy? heh

Hasn't Fabio played for Brazil? I think his brother Raphael might have played. Both are excellent prospects, bags of pace and skill, good going forward and defending. Fabio can play in both fullback positions and on either wing. They just need to learn to calm down for alot of the time they are a red card waiting to happen. Fabio is a bit injury prone too.RageGT wrote...

I agree. I thought the ref did a very good job compared to alot games i've seen them screw up.
Barca is the better squad and certinaly proved it on this day.

Bellamy has been made 5/1 favourite for the Cardiff job. Which strikes me as not the wisest of moves.

It is a bit too late, but screw Barcelona! Fortunately I was playing with my laptop, in front of the match in second half

Transfer shenanigans have begun OBaka, it looks like this summers long drawn out transfers will be Modric from Spurs possibly to United, Berbatov to Spurs or Newcastle, Ashley Young to Liverpool or United(why?!), Fabregas to Barca, Baines to Man City and Bale to anyone with alot of money.
Paul Scholes has retired. My initial reaction was thank god, he can go out a legend instead of tarnishing his reputation like he has been doing for alot of this season. My second reaction was that the best player England have produced in decades has just retired and we will never get to see him ping pinpoint passes around the pitch ever again.

Fabregas: we seem to get that every year for...how many years now? I do recall that some Barcelona official (probably an ex-President) was so miffed with him going to Arsenal that he stated that Fabregas will never be allowed back. (Or is it just one of my infamous hazy memories again?)
I think I read somewhere that the Berbatov and Modric thing might be some sort of swap deal. How would Berbatov fare in that Tottenham side now? He wasn't in the best of form when he left.

Norwich have apparently made a second bid for some striker, Morisson or something. I saw it earlier.
Not sure on that Fabregas thing, it could well be your memory again but it does sound rather plausible.

men's champions league final...well, thoughts on that these next couple of days, but it was a very enjoyable match to watch. (you blinked and it was the half already)
the women's world cup kicks off in a month, and copa america just 5 days after, so no worries, there will be some good international football this summer.

I've heard that Norwich has had a few bids being rejected. Probably the same case/player you're referring to, Druss.
Hm...Berbatov. You think the final could have been different if he had got to start the match? Or did Man Utd need the energy to hassle their players?
