They complain about most things in the NHL. For a bunch of large men with sticks they do alot of moaning.
Have a brilliant own goal...
Uruguay have won the Copa America. I think I've won over £500 over the years betting on Diego Forlan. I may be inlove with the odd looking git despite the fact I'm straight.
The Man City - LA Galaxy game is on here now with American commentary. Its painful to listen to but it seems Balotelli has been up to something, the 5 minutes that I've watched have mostly been complaining about whatever it was he did and saying how Mancini "smacked him down". He seems to have been subbed and is throwing water bottles, I'm not sure because only 35 minutes have gone.

ahhh, balotelli, how i have missed him this summer
if you are looking for bad american football commentators, you don't have to look far. i watch a lot of serie a, premier league, bundesliga, and barca. cause the commentators a) speak spanish and/or
are some of the best here i've ever heard. however, you want bad, here you go. from your own team, to boot. first half, fine, second half, well you'll see
espn has notoriously bad commentators, but i literally couldn't stop laughing at the ice cream quote. wuuuut, did he really just say that?! note: the british guy wasn't bad, just the american. and the ticker, well lets just say i don't ever watch football on espn.
really, you've won over 500 pounds betting on diegito? well, you better be prepared to fork over one of them when suarez beats out torres in goals this season.
and somebody else got me thinking, but what would man city have done with out tevez? he was a major reason why they did so well last season, and if they want to replicate or even improve on last year, they are going to need him to do well again.

Balotelli I read was subbed because he wasn't taking the match seriously. Mancini wasn't pleased that he fluffed a sure goal.
Tevez is a nifty player; though I suspect he might not be the best person to have in the dressing room. For some reason there's something about him that sits wrong with me. After the alleged retirement talk (coming from Ferguson) and current transfer kerfuffles Man City will have to do it without him.
Oh, and rather intrigued at the rumour that Man Utd are considering Joey Barton.

Balotelli went clean through and spun round with his back to goal and tried a stupid backheel that went about 5 yards wide and given his position was never going to go in from that angle. He could have just shot. I'm not sure if the play was actually stopped or not. He then proceeded to sit acting like a dick on the bench but then I assume he acts like a dick everywhere he goes. It was blown a bit out of proportion. Also every report I've seen felt the need to mention David Beckham played in the match too, if they had access to information on what time David Beckham took a dump I'm pretty sure they would print that too.
Tevez is good when he is the main man but less so when he isn't. He was pretty woeful in his second season with us and not worth the money his advisor(not a team) wanted for him. I agree I don't think he would be good around the dressing room, his behaviour in his last season with us alone is evidence of that. The amount of made up things he found to b*tch about was unreal, I suspect things would be much much worse if he actually spoke English, the cretin, 5 years in England?
Even Joey Barton doesn't believe them rumours lol.

He isn't just on the transfer list, he is available on a free transfer. I thought him and Nolan were their two best players last season. Its always something with Newcastle.
Liverpool were 2-0 to Valerenga with an almost full strength team when last I checked. Only pre-season but it still warmed my heart.

One must always strive for more, OBaka. In reality we should have scored alot more, Rooney and Owen missed sitters. No Messi or Xavi and Barca seem a bit toothless, lots of passes that go nowhere. It meant nothing though other than excellent displays by some of our youngsters, most notably Cleverly and Wellbeck.
Apparently Barton is available on a free after mouthing off on twitter but I can't get the full story to load to see what he said. I'm just glad to have a big transfer story that doesn't involve Tevez, Fabregas, Modric, Nasri or Sneijder.

Barton was criticizing Newcastle's transfer policy on Twitter; at least that is what seemed to crop up while reading (and even then connection is rather sluggish today). I think he also mentioned Enrique (?) within his criticism about Newcastle how what was mentioned is merely the tip of the iceberg; Barton was essentially stating that the club is not a happy place to be. (Might have read that wrongly though.) It will be interesting to see where he ends up.
EDIT: Barton's points: (1) Annoyed at not being able to express their opinion without being fined. (2) Enrique's comments may be just the tip of the iceberg; though may demoralise dressing room. (3) The fans suffer because of the shenanigans (which Nattfare only knows too well). (4) If he wanted to leave he would be honest about it. (5) Fear of relegation if certain things are not addressed.

I just about got the story myself there. Are F365 and skysports.com barely working for you too?
As much as he is a topclass scumbag at times you really can't argue with any of his points. Be interesting to see where he ends up, he has kept his nose more or less clean for a while now and is a good player. My bet is Villa.

Barton has gone on a lot on Twitter since the end of the season.
He was unhappy to see Nolan sold.
Enrique has questioned Ashley's ambitions and was then fined for it.
Barton had to comment on this and he had to speak his mind again after Nolan expressing his displeasure of Ashley in an interview.
Newcastle has signed four players so far... three of them were on a free. That is what Enrique's complaint is coming from.

How do you think Newcaste are going to do this year Natt? Random question, but there was a standup comedian one time saying how people in Newcastle are so friendly, thats why companies have so many of their customer service offices based there. is that true?

I'm not from Newcastle myself so I couldn't really tell if they're friendly or not.
I know they're all crazy about football though.
How well they will play this season is a difficult one. It will depend on what decisions Ashley will have until September the first, if the players can overcome the unrest that is growing in the club and if the key players will stay fit of course.
The key player:
Ben Arfa - The most skilled player in the team. Only played three games last season due to getting his leg broken in two places. Injured his ankle in the first friendly this summer. Will he ever stay fully fit? How is his psyche after such a serious injury?
The signings:
Cabaye - From what I've heard he's a very good alround midfielder but untested in the Premier League. Signed for £4-£5 million.
Marveaux - Skilled winger who is good at going forward. Have had some serious injuries as of late and is also untested in the PL. Signed for free.
Ba - Strong and technical forward. Has a dodgy knee. Signed for free.
Abeid - Brought in to learn in the reserves. Untested in the PL. Signed for free.
Bad losses:
Nolan was a bad loss, being the captain and the main goalscorer and all. sold for £4-£5 million.
Hate him or like him, Barton has been a very importan player for the team this season... and now his contract is bought out by the club. Well spent money, Ashley. Well spent.
Likely losses:
Enrique who easily is one of the best left backs in the league will leave a large gap to fil after he is sold.
It's also fun to note that Pardew changes his opinion on the size of the squad, on day it is too thin, after the four signings it was too large, after a couple of injuries it wasn't big enough again and now he's saying that they only need one more player.
To me the squad isn't anywhere big enough.
Can't say that I'm feeling overly positive about Newcastle's chances this season so far.

I would agree that Barton has a point in that Twitter rant(s), though I can see why them upstairs don't like it. Their reaction though does seem somewhat petty. I'm sure there should be a line about noses and spite in there somewhere....
Nolan is a curious one. I couldn't understand why Bolton sold him to Newcastle at the time; it seemed rather out of the blue. Now he's at West Ham. I guess there's the Alladyce connection, but still odd. Maybe it's one of these cost cutting measures which signifies that lack of ambition some players are concerned with.
Wasn't Pardew partly brought in due to his relationship to Ashley? That is to put it more bluntly a 'yes' man?
EDIT: Oh, and Druss, both sites were really sluggish for me at the time; barely loaded at times if at all.

Oh yes, Pardew is only along because he is a casino buddy with Ashley and Llambias.
He was brought in only three days after Hughton got sacked and some believe that this was planned already in the summer.
And he says everything he is told to say which also makes him look like a big fool.
Keegan couldn't take that, he would probably have drowned himself in the Tyne before being Ashley's puppet.
Which is why he walked in the end.

I still haven't gotten over the ridiculous decisions going back to when Keegan was incharge. Going over the managers head to spend £5m on a player he didn't want, sacking Hughton and now this. Thats just me being selective too. They wanted rid of Barton even before the whole Twitter thing, it seems he gave them a convenient excuse. Pardew is the biggest loser in all this, they are making him look an utter fool and his reputation will be in tatters when he leaves there. Not that it was brilliant anyway.
He promised the £35m from the Carroll sale would be re-invested in the team, look at Natt's list, it clearly hasn't. Then they claimed it was infact re-invested in wages, what a joke. Ashley seemed to be redeeming himself a bit but then he sacked Hughton and started the madness allover. I'm just glad its not Scousers following the club or we would never hear the end of it.
Which reminds me, we haven't laughed at the comedy and majesty of this in a while...
Though the comments aren't as funny as they used to be.

You're forgetting the sign-on fees and the agent's fees, Druss. So I guess all the £35m is spent now. <_<
Can't say that I am very sorry for Pardew. Sure, he probably couldn't dream about it all going like this when he signed.
If he had any ounce of self respect he would have walked. But he is on five years and on a presumed bonus for every sold player. It is a too good deal to walk away from for him.
Not that it matters if he goes or stay really, he would only be replaced by another JFK.

Hm...I seem to recall from somewhere (warning....dodgy memory in operation) that part of Newcastle's gripes about signing players is to do with agents and that sort of thing.
As for Liverpool....well...their pre-season hasn't exactly been good, though I'm sure fans will cite the thought that friendlies don't count for much. A few wins will always do the players a world of good as far as I'm concerned though.

From what I've read it seems to be suggested that his wage demands will prove to be a stumbling block to any potential move.
With Veron...it reminds me of the time that Sven was reported to have said that if Ferguson wanted to know how to use him then he should get in contact. That made me chuckle at the time.
