I would like:

1. The Morrigan/Warden romance to be wrapped up for those who decided on it.

2. Hawke to be our own, even if he/she is defined to an extent.

3. Armor and such to be more customizable (like change the color).

4. An epic storyline that proves our theories correct AND makes us gasp due to awesome things we never even thought of.

I would not like:

1. Hawke/Morrigan romance (will probably not happen, but might as well mention it).

2. No inventory (thus limiting customization).

3. Plot holes.

4. Deus Ex Machina.

I want the choices I make on the Dialog wheel to be final. Example The revered mother in lothering wouldn't give me the key to sten's cell so I threatened to kill her. She still said no. Why didn't my character follow though on his threat. Also the game is probably rated Mature like the others so live up to it. Origins and Awakenings were PG to me.

You would love "The Witcher" game

Exactly what your asking for but be forwarned, it goes both ways.

I would like a big city with lots of sidequests (like BG or Ahkatla), every city area had an interesting twist to it and a bigger sidequest (cultists in the sewers, slavery in an inn, murderer on the loose, all sorts of things were going on in the graveyard...). Denerim just had a market and a few problems with bandits, you couldn't even go in the chantry. I was really disappointed with that.

I totally agree with you, Denerim and Orzammar were both disappointments to me when comparing to Baldurs Gate and Athkatla. Both those cities let you enter all districts and there was a lot going on in them.

Take Orzammar for example, the setting is superb and the atmosphere and the backstory is great but the city is just too small, with not enough things going on. Dust Town could've had an incredible side quest, I loved the setting, but it was just a short alley.

There are several elements from other similar games that could easily be Incorporated into DA2.

Like many have mentioned, how open the Witcher is.

I have it and am quite a fan.

And looking back, TES: Oblivion?

I mean, how amazing would it be to have a world as open as the world in Oblivion. that would make things quite fun, in my opinion.

All the elements in the game, all the different Items, armors, weapons, etc.

I understand that such is hard to do, because Oblivion was so HUGE of a game, but it would be Great, none the less.

want:

1.the same if not better depth and relationships with other party members
2. if possible more story-driven side quests.
3. more difficult enemies (high level mages and warriors becoming more unpredictable)
4. epilogues played out (i think which is already confirmed)
5. more variety of items/equipment (set items for mages which was shown in awakening, complete set for warriors from armor to weapons to rings)
6. new types of weapons if possible (flail, polearms,)

dont want:
1.annoying sustainable graphics (song of courage, invigorate),etc

just my 2 cents.:):):)
