Two Archdemons are still missing:

- Lasacan, Dragon of Night
- Razikal, Dragon of Mystery

So I wonder, could it be something happened in 406 years? Considering Flemeth knows a Ritual how to catch the soul essence of an Archdemon, and considering the only way this could have been tested before would have been on ... an Archdemon. And considering there is still the soul of the Dragon of Mystery to be found somewhere and if Flemeth would be any of the Old Gods, would it not be most appropriate she was this? Not to mention Mystery is always connected to Magic.

Morrigan says some things are worth to be preserved. She most likely learned that from Flemeth. And what would be most valuable to her? One of her kind of course. Could it be then that Flemeth actually didn't send Morrigan to save the soul of the Old God not for Flemeth herself, but to have a pardner maybe? I am just guessing here, but obviously Flemeth didn't really need a new body. So what if her real plan is that Morrigan gives birth to Flemeth new mating pardner in order to revive the bloodline of the Old Gods?

So if Morrigan failed to get Urthemiel, Flemeth's(Razikal's) last hope would be to find the last of the Old Gods, Lasacan?

But the only thing I can insert into this exept that is that I want to play The First Blight in a Dragon Age game. DA3 should be about the First Blight, that would be SWEEEET (anyone who gets that gets a cookie).

The first Blight lasted about 200 years, the Grey Wards probably were founded 100 years after it started. So that would be a pretty long time span, and you probably needed 4 or 5 generations of Grey Wardens.
