Not a big fan of mounts in Fantasy games. Just use fast travel with map.

Go out and do it then, but it won't be in DA2 most likely.(considering that the areas are small and mount wouldn't do much use)

Yes, because riding the worlds laziest bear into battle would be sound tactical strategy.
IMO, mounts just take up space better used for other content, though it would be nice to see or take place in a Chevaliers calvery charge.
