Anyone else really hoping that the time difference between dragon age original and the sequel is like 20+ years.  That be enough time to give a real lasting impression on the discions and events from the first game.  It will also confirm that us, aliastiar, oghren and probabily most of our old campnions are long gone and makes the transition to a fresh story better i hope.  Hawke would have to be a little kid though for the lothering backround

Already confirmed that the story starts during DAO and goes on for 10 years from there on. Congratulations on spelling "sequel" right btw. It seems that EVERYONE butchers that word.

are you sure its not like an span of 10 years for the story after an initial passing of time since the original. Cuase if it does start right where awakening left off then that really sucks

The game itself is said to start about at the time the Warden passed trough Lothering. And from that point on, you follow Hawke's story for 10 or so years.
