*SOLVED* Aesthetic ME1 Docking/Launching Question

Is this normal? The blue/green glow in the red squares? Or is it supposed to be brighter and more white in color?

I'm pretty sure there is supposed to be shimmering there (force field type of thing, I presume). But yes, that does look less detailed and more of a solid color than I remember it being; couldn't tell you about whether it should be more white.

I installed a new PC OS: XP SP3 (Vista OS went corrupt again)[Big Surprise there<_<. No longer gonna bother with Vista or 7!).  I thought I remember it being like you say.

BTW: [b]ALL graphic settings maxed out.

[/b]EDIT: Tried Full Screen and Windowed mode no difference.

 Problem Solved!

Somehow I must have disabled bUsePostProcessEffects and AllowShadowVolumes in C:\\\\Documents and Settings\\\\Phoenix\\\\My Documents\\\\BioWare\\\\Mass Effect\\\\Config\\\\BIOEngine.ini for setting it to True gave me this:
