In ME2 we saw that we could simply import a finished character from the story we just beat, to be used again. While I never did this, I guess some did and liked being able to continue on with the same ME2 character. Will we see this in DA2?

...I...

Have you heard nothing about this game? I'm bewildered here.

EDIT: I edit because I realize that's not helpful. DA2 is about an entirely new character named Hawke. Look on the stickies on the top of the forum page for things we know about DA2.

Oooooh. Okay, good; I'm the idiot here.

On that note, I can't see why we'd possibly know since they're not even finished with the second game, and I doubt the third will be played with Hawke.

I'm curious, why did you never import in Mass Effect? As for importing in DA II, it seems pointless in most aspects -I'd rather they just make cannon and go from there. I'm ready fo a *new* story, though it seems I'm in the minority.

Oh dear...
That is one lovely can of worms.

No, not really. It was just an opinion. Perhaps I'm just burned out on my wardens and his/her companions. I'm ready for a new outlook of Thedas, though in subsequent releases I wouldn't mind revisiting my wardens adventures.

As long as it's done right.  By the end of Dragon Age, my character was killing Darkspawn with one hit.  I wouldn't want my character beginning the game like that.
