Do you think Hawke is in Lothering the same time the Warden is or leaves before the Warden arrives?

i don't think we'll see the warden but probably see the party members as a cameo...like standing around at different areas of the town.

Meeting Leliana in the Chantry would be pretty damn cool.

There's a bearded bloke in the chantry on the left as you go in seeking the revered mothers blessing before he and his family go north, voice sounds a bit light though maybe its hawkes brother whats his face?

Hawke will meet my DW warrior warden and will be begging the warden to teach him to fight like that.

I'd say its a safe bet we'll see our wardens in some sort of cameo in lothering. I'm interested to see how Flemeth will tie into the plot time line if you "killed her" given she saves hawke at somepoint.

Let's make the whole game about old characters and no new storyline at all, just for nostalgia's sake.

Everyone is free for their own likes and dislikes, so I dislike this massive mania about meeting old companions or even the Warden.

I have always thought that Hawke's tale starts about when people in Lothering are all fleeing and the darkspawn attack is imminent. So the Warden is long gone.

My guess is that the game will start after the warden has already left Lothering.

IMHO, I think Hawk is the merchant at the wagon that you encounter, so yes Hawk is in Lothering.

I don't think you'll be seeing the Warden at all. Not so much because of the lack of voice, but there's a good chance that the equipment you wore in Lothering is going to be quite different from the post-coronation. Same goes for companions. Also, who were your immediate companions in Lothering? Not everyone may have added both Sten and Leliana.

Not unless the save flag for the import will be this exact game play and scene from lothering so your equipment or level at the post save game won't matter if there is a hidden save when you exit Lothering.  We do get that odd save asking if you want to gather your party and go forward on the Imperial Highway, at least in the pc version we do.

They obviously didn't because my first warden was a massive ****** that probably would've beaten, raped, and robbed Hawke.

Hawke was the crazy guy shouting at the chantry compound. After your talked some sense into him, he went on to become the champ. There you go.

I thought of this as well but went with the merchant at the wagon.

I don't really think Hawke was in Lothering while playing Origins, or I have to play it again which I'll do anyway, but still. On the other hand, it could be possible they knew they were going to make a sequel.
Anyway, I think you'll meet your warden in Lothering. Just walking by, or maybe fighting darkspawn. And if Hawke would still be a little boy/girl while in Lothering, I think you might see your warden in some kind of flashback. We'll see, though I'm curious Posted Image

I'm telling you, Hawke is the little kid from the bridge in Lothering. I know this for a fact.

While interesting, this is assuming a male Hawke. Or not?

And that Hawke aged around 10 years and got black hair, in a matter of days.

Why would Hawke be a little boy in Lothering when we know that he and his family are escaping Lothering during the Blight? From what I could see of the gameplay at PAX, Hawke didn't look like a kid to me.

It'd be awesome to see Sten still locked in his cage if you left him there in your import.

Also, Leliana dying to defend the town 'cos the Warden didn't want her.

From everything I've seen, Hawke's all grown up in the Lothering sequence, and while when I first heard the few scant details I found myself going "Oh wow, I bet he was that kid on the bridge," I soon found out otherwise when Hawke was shown in his full bearded glory in the earliest screenshots. I personally (and probably wrongly) think that Hawke was chilling by that large tree behind the main part of the town you can see from prettymuch anywhere in Lothering but can't go there yourself. It'd be a nice little touch, to see the Warden and co. walking and possibly commenting on how strange it is to see *other* armored folks besides the templars, before getting on to the business of running away to Kirkwall of course.

Some things make me think the DA2 events in Lothering take place after the DAO events in Lothering. One thing makes me think, it takes place before those events, though. The only think I'm sure of, the DAO events and the DA" events in Lothering do not take place simultaneously.

My best guess is that Hawke will be at Lothering after the wardens. It's not until you complete one of the main quests that Lothering is overrun (or at least until you find out it's overrun). I would say it takes at least a couple of weeks not including travel time to do this. So, our wardens might be commented on (which would be very cool), but I doubt we'll see them. I do wonder if what we sell to the merchants in Lothering will be there for our Hawkes.

I'm sure he was there, although he obviously didn't meet the warden (would've been cooler if he did). From what I've heard about the demo, it seems to be that Hawke and his family are running with the darkspawn tight on their tails after Lothering had already been destroyed and when the warden was passing through, the darkspawn had yet to reach Lothering. Logically, the timing works out.

I'm guessing Hawke "lived" in Lothering until the darkspawn invasion. It could be his homeland. If so, and if the game starts before the arrival of Warden and co., maybe we'll be able to see a Leliana cameo.

I think if there are any cameo's at all they will probably be a passing glimpse of Morrigan and Alistair bickering while your warden shakes their head, though thats just my opinon
