Not likely, since you're then talking about a possible equipment inconsistency.
Off the top of your head list how many things you have in your inventory or equipped at the end of WH that you had in Lothering.
Do you think Hawke is in Lothering the same time the Warden is or leaves before the Warden arrives?

I created this thread 2 months ago, I can't believe its come back to life. Now that I know more about the game though I think Hawke may be in the woods or getting ready to leave or something. In the trailer we see Lothering burning so depending on where the game starts we might not play Hawke when the warden is there. I guess that maybe DA2 will start with Lothering already in complete shambles, so while they may be there at the same time we won't necessarily get to play Hawke at the the time that the warden was there.

I'm thinking there won't be any indication about the warden.
It would be awesome if you could see your warden, Alistair, and Morrigan walking by in the background of a scene though.

I know we're not likely to see the Warden, but it would be cool to have a cameo from someone like Leliana or Alistair or Morrigan or Sten or Dog in Lothering. Perhaps we could see Alistair collecting the rose?

Any of those are unlikely.

Hawke was the superman-reference kid that landed in the meteor of course. The opening credits of Dragon Age 2 will be the famous Superman movies theme in reverse.

I would be more interested in what Lotharing thinks of that schizophrenic sister with the visions.

I don't think they meet, but I was wondering if Lothering will be playable before it is in the hopeless state it is in when the Warden arrives.
I think that in the game's teaser, you are fighting in the the Blightlands, but when Cassandra has Varric retell the origin, you are in Lothering.

I do hope we see Leliana, but she'll probably already have left with the Warden when the game begins.

I don't think there will be cameos. Maybe a couple of NPC references like:
NPC1: I heard there was a grey warden in town.
NPC2: No! Really? Didn't they betray the king?
I figure if we do get anything, it'll be hearsay from gossip NPCs. Besides, if the beginning is a tutorial, we might not really have time to be walking around Lothering. I know some games start off with fighting tutorials.
Edit: Noooo!!!!!!!! I just posted in a necro'd thread!!!!!!!

It would be interesting to see a shadowy silouette of the warden going down the inperial highway with his/her motley group in Dragon Age 2.

NO, NO! Sten was awesome, and the best male character in DA:O... though Loghain comes close.

I like to think Hawke was trapped inside Silent Hill 4 style when the Warden came through.

I'd like to see my imported Warden walk by or something, just put some standard get up on em, a mix of what's available from the vendors up to that point.

with a family of 2-3 apostate mages, i would think the hawke family would quietly make their way out sometime between when loghain's army passes through and when the templars start running things.

I expect only silhouettes at most, or perhaps just townfolk talk as opposed to actual interaction. After all, what's the Warden supposed to say to you, '...'?

Yeah that'd be workable. Don't think it'd happen though.

There is this thing that people think that their warden wont be in DA2 because he/she doesn't have a voice. I think it is a stopped reason if the game designers wanted to put the warden in and voice him/her they can. It wont be the first time its been done. For example, John "Soap" MacTavish in Call of Duty Modern Warfare he was the unvoiced PC in the first one came back full voiced in the second game.
In any case i would love to see any of my wardens in DA2 but i would rather see them after Lothering. Maybe the places that hawke sees the warden changes depending on were the wardens ends up in the end of DA Awakinening Like you can have if warden is Queen or king of Ferelden you may see him her with their respective conscorts in Kirhwall as part of a state visit. Just throwing an example here.
However, i think the warden will only be metioned not seen in the game.

I'd like to know, would Sten be still there, if I didn't release him in a previous DAO save.
