I apologize if this has been brought up before, but if the game spans ten years, does this mean that Hawke will actually look older by the end of the adventure than he did at the start? I mean, I don't expect solid grey hair and all that, but there should at least be some subtle differences shouldn't there? It won't be game breaking for me if they don't, but I just think it would be a great feature for them to add for the overall immersion and realism because let's face it, most 25 year olds(just a random age as we don't know Hawke's age at the beginning of the story) don't look exactly the same when they're 35 especially when they're fighting in battles and under constant high stress which I imagine Hawke will be facing throughout the game.

Again, I apologize if this has been brought up before.

Yeah depending on how stressful the fighting gets I'd expect Hawke to look like a withered old man by the end of the game. Have you seen photos of like WWI and WW2 soldiers after months in trench warfare? These are 16-20 year old boys that look older than my grandfather with grey hair and broken bodies.

Well generally a good bet is you are introduced into a secret society of protectors and must fight an ancient evil. Just saying. :) Not that anything is wrong with that, it works.

That... sound's difficult to do given that the game has a character creator.

But the devs have specifically said they aren't doing that for this game.

Yes, that's what I was thinking and why I'm not holding my breath for it. I just thought it would be a cool thing to put in the game.

Oh I know but in general that's what one can expect from Bioware.

Well fable goes from child to old man.

DA2 is only over 10 years.

And besides, you don't create your own character in Fable. At least as I remember.

I'm curious to how this will work as well... especially on lady Hawke. And I'm assuming everyone else will age as well? hmm...

If it's just a few wrinkles and a few greys, I'll be fine with that. I just don't want my Lady Hawke to look the same coming out as she did going in.

There is already a thread on that topic, you're right.

It would have been kind to phrase the topic as a question
- the way it is that sounds like announcing a confirmed
fact, no pun intended.

I don't really care about that. It would be cool tho.

I'd like some scars after the battles.

God I hope the fighting doesn't affect Hawke's age.  Stress doesn't actually age a person, that's a myth.  If it's implemented I'll die a little inside.  (Yes, I realize there's magic and tons of other not real things, but trying to add realism with something that isn't true would make me sad)

I imagine they will treat it like Assassins creed 2.

I wonder if they will add a place for a hair cut...
