Sorry for the long delay. Yeah. We kind of closed due to the lack of interest. I still even have it on the server. and site setup just renamed just in case people become interested in it again.
if you are just let me know.. I dont have a problem bringing it back up.

I think the lack of interest was because of some of the inaccessible gameplay. Generally, I found, that the really "hardcore" servers close quickly.
I think the server had perma-death and eating restrictions. That's something that very few people like and prefer something more casual.
The concept, setting and originality are great but those two things make the game really tedious to play for many.
Personally, I find it a interesting mechanic but perma-death is a big no-no in my book even if it makes sense in the setting.
Those two things make people focus on staying alive than actually having fun or RPing, or exploring the world.
Which quickly becomes a paranoid chore.
I would make more classes and races available (just rename them and refluff them than restricting them), remove permadeath and eating restrictions.
Make eating just restore some HP like potions. Many games use food or rations to restore health (Metal Gear Solid comes to mind).
Make things to do. Quests, interesting places to explore. Interesting, new and fun gear.
Take some more ideas from the Fallout and Knights of the Old Republic games for example.
Also, one big block that I encountered when trying to enter the game... is that I never managed to enter at all. The download process was really slow and something was either corrupted or the files didn't download properly and failed every single time.
And I tried multiple times, after months also. Same issue.
You can restrict resting and have respawn penalties and maybe debuffs. But not extreme stuff that aren't fun for most people, in my opinion. Hope that constructive criticism helped. ![]()
I really want to see this server going.
Alternatively, do something else. Instead of having the resources and work go to waste, simply make a futuristic, single player module that supports multiplayer.
As far as I'm aware of, there's NO futuristic or even modern modules out there.
Make one and use those restrictions there. See how people like it. Take feedback and update it with fixes, additions and tweaks.
It can work as advertisement of the server. Like "THIS is how our server looks like".
I would play the hell out of that module. But make sure that it's fun, interesting and most importantly, bug-free.

We are bringing this back due to me missing a lot of the classic games such as Nwn2. However, We are primarily focusing on the action / adventure side of the realm (The starcraft-ish war side of the persistent world which is available).
