Asuming you took romantic interests in both ME1 and ME2, who's heard would you have to break, asuming you have to choose only one in ME3.

My Personal Canon Shepard romanced Ashley in the first and Tali in the second, and though I love Tali, I really would have to break her heart if Ash could come back into my life. I'm sorry Talimancers, but when it comes down to the fine line, I'll always side with my species. It's not gonna be something I'm happy about, but it will mean a lot when it happens.

My Renegade would choose Garrus over Liara though. Tough luck hun.

Who would the rest of you choose?

Ash-Tali= TALI

Kaidan-Garrus= GARRUS

Liara-Jack= JACK

Kaidan-Thane= Kaidan since Thane dies in Suicide mission

 No one for my canon Shepard, yeah he was tempted, but he never betrayed Ash. Though im not sure which way i'll go with all my other characters that romanced everyone else  ... i do like Tali ... and Miranda's not THAT bad, easy to manipulate given her insecurities...and Jack is kinda cute, if your into the whole GI Jane thing, and can get over her personal issues.

Paragon Male Shep, moved on after meeting Ash again as he thought she obviously had as well. In fact, doesn't she say something like that?



Renegade Fem Shep, stayed true to Liara.

 My main shepard romanced Ash in mE1 and Miranda in ME2. Why can't I have both ?

But seriously. I do not look forward to having to make that choice.

I romanced Ash in ME1. Liara is just... creepy. I liked Ashley as a character better.



In ME2 I romanced Miranda because I loved her story. And she's definitely not as butch as Ash the soldier was. I'll be sticking with Miranda in ME3. However I have a funny feeling in ME3 you won't even have the option to go back to the Ash/Kaidan ME1 romances if you cheated on them. It would be much more interesting if those paths ended in some consequences for the story.

None, Ash/Kaiden died in my play though and Liara is too 'pure' to be touched. All those who have a romance with her in ME1 and betray her in ME2 should be shot in the let (not literary).

All my Shepards have stayed true to Kaidan, but I'm working on a new Shepard that when imported in ME2 will romance Garrus

This game would be so much easier if Bioware did not create such great female romance options. I love Jack,Tali,Miranda and Ashley and im hoping for a romance with Kasumi in ME3.

Fortunatley I've thus far stayed faithful to Ashley in two playthroughs so I don't have to worry about breaking anyone's heart, as My Shepard's belongs to but one woman.

Eek, that came across as quite corny didn't it?



Still, Ashley is my choice and I'm glad I don't have to make a difficult decision in Mass Effect 3.

Plus, if I had been going to pick a romance interest it would have been Jack and given how tragic and beautiful her romance is, having to choose between her and Ashley would KILL me (even though I am fully aware it is a game and am not in anyway lying in bed with an imprinted love pillow, thanks for asking by the way) because it really would be difficult and I'd feel bad either way.



So yeah once again, probably better to stick with the first gal and that was Ashley all the way.

Liara vs Miranda will be a difficult choice, if not only for "love", because he owes each of them a great deal when it comes to helping him along on his journey.



Mass 3 will have to throw Shiala or a human based on and voiced by either Gemma Arterton or Summer Glau at me for it to come even close.

Two of my Shepards moved on after Horizon, one went with Garrus and the other with Thane.  

The others I have so far will stay loyal to Thane, they had no ME1 romance.

In my first playthrough of ME, I romanced Ashley.

In my first playthrough of ME2, I romanced Tali.

So... between these two, I'd go for Tali. If it were between Liara and Tali, then I may have some difficulty choosing...

As a fem Shep, I had a thing with Liara, Ash died. In ME2 Liara seems to busy to continue the fling so I set my sights on Kelly. A sweet young thing who worships me. None of these are long term relationships to the driven Commander Sheppard and men are too complicated and get too emotional.

It wouldn't make sense to me to loose both LIs in ME3. You never 'cheated' on your ME2 LI and you're definitely separate from your ME1 LI after Horizon and your first trip to Illium. Provided you don't try to restart your relationship with you ME1 LI, I see no reason that your ME2 LI would leave you.

First Shep stayed faithful to Liara, Second Shep has only romanced Jack or nobody, depending on playthroughs.

Shepard 3 - No ME1 romance, Tali romanced.

Shepard 4 - No ME1 romance, Miranda romanced.
