Shepard 1 - didn't technically cheat on Kaidan because pursuing Samara just gets you the cool cutscene. However if someone I really like comes along in ME3 or Samara is back then I may dump him.



Shepard 2 - He only romanced Jack, so probably no problem.



Shepard 3 - I plan to keep this one faithful to Liara.

I will make new characters to break as many hearts as possible. I mean, to see all the dialogue options. My canon Paragon stayed loyal to Kaidan; my canon Renegade ran off with Garrus but still loves Kaidan, and will hopefully find some way to work that out. mShep A is probably going to have issues as he romanced every single female in ME2 using the challenge exploit.

ManShep - Romanced noone in ME1, romanced Tali in ME2.

FemShep - Romanced Kaidan, until he died on Virmire. Romanced Garrus in ME2.

I just counted my files, and have 27...so for most romance options I will have one lol.



But.. Most of my plays now I dont romance anyone.



innitiall it was Ashley....damn lips made me mad... But it was mostly an attempt to fix her racist side she had a good side.



But Tali all the way...end of story...since now I hate ashley...



PS: whoever created ashley, very nice, if you have a strong emotionf or a character it means is a VERY damn good character.

It feels wrong cheating on Liara... Not only does she go through practically hell and beyond to save you from the collectors, but is fighting against the person who made a deal with the collectors to deliver your body (Shadow Broker). I'm trying to put a playthrough where i get with miranda, but it's striking my Shepherd with quite a bit of guilt.



Out of the entire crew, she's the only one that didn't move on, making it doubly rough if she was your LI.

It would be amusing if "cheating" means that it's Shepard that gets his/her heart broken. You know, consequences and all... Though I suspect that would only be possible if you're given a choice between your ME1 and ME2 LI's and you pick the ME1 LI only to find out they're heartbroken at your infidelity and really make you feel horrible about it and then when you turn and grin at your ME2 LI they won't speak to you for the rest of the game for seeing them as second rate, lol.



To answer the question: ManShep would prefer to be alone after realizing he has nothing in common with Ash or Miranda, lol. FemShep stayed true to Kaidan, so no choice to make there.

But over the comm, just before that last mission that means Shepard is going to die but will make the Reapers choke to death on her corpse.

Three of my Shepards (Paragon soldier and vanguard, Paragade sentinel) won't break anyone's heart, since they're loyal to Kaidan... unless Joker or someone equally awesome is an option in ME3, in which case my vanguard is dropping Kaidan.



Two of my Shepards moved on from Kaidan (Renegade vanguard with Garrus, Paragon infiltrator with Thane). I think they'll stay with Garrus and Thane (for some variety from my perspective XD).

I only have 1 Shepard that found romance in ME1 and he will remain loyal to Ashley

My female Shepard found Kaiden boring, so she let him burn and found love in the little green man Thane

and my ME2 Shepard found his yeoman, Kelly, very alluring
