Thats about what i get to read whenever i try to load any of my saves since yesterday. what i did? well i patched a windows security update but thats all i did.
i first figured that it had to be a problem with the server cause of the patch. but now the patch is online (and already installed) i am logged in and it still occurs!
it blocks me from playing any of my characters but NOT from starting a new campaing like lelianas song or the darkspawn chronicles...which due to the error reading i do not even posses!!!
i posses about every dlc in excistence and it tells me i have none and should log in to play...
also the games tells me that i am logged in and relogging does not do any good.
since there are no other threads about this issue it seems to be a bit of a single problem?
owner of premium content must be logged in....

You're not the only one, it keeps happening to me too. I finished the Darkspawn Chronicles and wanted to check if I got the Blightblood on my main character. I log out and in again, and then I can see I do own all the content in the DLC screen.
However, when switching characters and trying to load I keep getting the error message that the owner of the content must log in. I go back to the DLC screen and suddenly I don't own the content anymore.
I thought this error was either non-existent or dealt with, I never had it before anyway.

Yeah, it's happening to me too. They need a patch for their patch.

just btw the problem was that the da updater (a service you can switch on or off with msconfig) was blocked by the firewall without me noticing.
thats why it couldnt confirm that the dlc was bought.
try to look if the da updater works properly. it might help!

I'm having this problem today - have checked to see the DA Updated & other DA entities are unblocked & they are. sigh.

Same here only after patch 1.04 and trying to start Awakenings. Bioware really needs to get their act together.

I'm having that problem too! When I log in I get the owner of the DLC must be logged in message. When I log out, I can resume play as always and the DLC is still there. I just restarted the DA service (via the unofficial DLC troubleshooting thread) and I'll see if that helps.

I'm having a problem similar to this one as well. I'm barely keeping myself from tearing my own hair out because I've tried nearly everything trying to fix it, since it was just working until last night.

and I restarted the DAO Service to make sure I'm connected to the servers and still no good. If I'm logged in, I'm locked out. AUGH!

I was having similar trouble on Windows 7. I went into my firewall exceptions and made sure all dragon age stuff had the network settings set to public instead of private. Then I launched the Dragon Age Launcher instead of the game from Steam and used their "add firewall exception" button. I don't know which of the two steps helped, but I was no longer receiving this error.
Hope this helps.

as far as I know, profiles.ea.com is down so you can't sign in to your account

It happened to me as well, but a simple restart of the game fixed the problem... For now.

Glad to see I am not the only one.. in my case I just restarted the game and it worked. To be honest, I will think twice next time I am tempted to buy a game by BioWare.

I'm unable to access my premium content...It shows me as logged in, but claims I'm unauthorized. Not sure what's up with that. Logging off or restarting did NOT seem to solve my problem.

Mine ended up being a firewall error also. I had made changes to it the day before.
I bought my copy from Steam and ran the DAUServiceSetup_Steam.exe to fix it. Part of the message box when running that program specifically mentioned opening a firewall port.

I disabled windows 7 firewall and it seems to be working fine for me now. I use COMODO firewall anyway.

I was having the same problem of not being able to load my saves because the DLC:s were "Unauthorized" and nearly tried every advice I could find. Then I found this and checked my firewall options letting every Dragon Age stuff access Internet and bam! Works like dream.
How simple it was after all. Thanks!
