This is something that's been bothering me considerably. I hear that some decisions made in DAO will have effects on DA2, but a lot of people say that the ending of DAO (the epilogue stuff) can be very buggy. I heard that sometimes you end up with the wrong king or queen of ferelden or some people left alive or dead when they really aren't. Can Bioware really make sure that DA2 will register the correct decisions and maintain continuity?
Basically, I guess I'm wondering how much impact DAO will have on DA2. Is it very significant like ME1 to ME2, or is it very minor to the point that I could easily "start over" with DA2 and not need to concern myself with buggy endings from DAO?
Buggy ending saves from DAO: Will they carry over?

We don't know. I think it might be like ME in terms of smaller things like who you romanced, but like kotor 2 in terms of major things - they get mentioned but doesn't really affect the game.

Never heard of that. I guess the best bet is to re-do the final battle, get a new epilogue save, and see if that fixes it.
If not, you might be SOL. I remember I had to restart KOTOR halfway through once because the game kept getting me stuck inside a room with Malak and he just wouldn't respond.
Kotor 2 never let you import saves. You chose how Kotor 1 ended with you talk with Atton.

No, these bugs didn't actually happen to me yet. It's just that I was considering the use of a mod that says it will fix those buggy ending issues from DAO, but that sounds to me like it would disrupt the epilogue data import to DA2. Here's the mod: http://www.dragonage...file.php?id=513

Use it or not, if it ends up messing it up, the worst thing that will happen is you will have to replay the game.
