I can confirm that the memory leak is NOT fixed. After 2 hours of gameplay, my CPU as well as my memory were using almost 100% of their capabilities; this does not happen with other games or when the game is started!

Phenom X4 945
4GB DDR3 Ram
Geforce GTX 460 OC 1GB
Vista 64

As you can see, it's a powerful machine capable for games the next 2 years. All drivers are up-to-date. Please fix the memory leak, BioWare!

Just out of curiosity are you running the settings at maximum and what is your resoultion.  Because on the recommended requirements it states that 4 gb ram are need for vista and win 7.  So with that in mind any background programs you are running will cause a performance hit.  Not saying there is no memory leak, just offering an idea. I've had zero issues running dragon age or awakenings.  I can play for 3+ hrs with no noticable slowdown.  My specs are:

Win 7 64 bit pro
Phenom X4 965
8 gb ddr2 ram
3 tb hdd
2 nvdia 285 GTX OC 1 GB ram each (running in SLI).
1920 x 1080 resolution

Just for the hell of it check and see what your virtual ram is set up as.  That can make a difference.  Also I use a program called Explorer Suite which allows the game to use more than 2 gb virtual ram.  That made a difference for me.
